If it’s May Day, it’s Che Day. Since the West Coast reconquistas have barely begun their day, there aren’t any photos yet of the usual Che t-shirts and posters donned by American leftists. They’ll come out later.
In the meantime, though, the cult of Che is alive and kicking…in Karachi, Pakistan!

I wonder how many of the people here in the States actually know what he stands for. I have people come into the store where I work wearing Che shirts and not a single one I’ve asked has any idea even who he is…they just say the picture is popular.

I don’t see the “peace activists” (I know, I know, the irony is killing me) from Code Pink needing kevlar to protect them from us. Meanwhile they break the law by impeding recruitment centers by chaining themselves together in the doorway, assaulting people from the Gathering of Eagles, etc.
I think the “religion of peace” have a lot in common with our “peace activists”.
HELLO ALL…first time I’ve used my priviledge…thank you, Michelle. As a USAF brat, in 1953-55 we were stationed in Japan. NO ONE was allowed off base due to violence in the streets, mostly directed at American service people. The crowds were angry and violent..All I was told at the time was “May day is a Communist celebration day” I guess it has become a good day for anybody to protest anything. Civil disobedience is an American tradition…but come on…this is too much.

I’m not going to delve deeply into that analogy, but I think I speak for many I know who would argue that a King and a Dictator are two completely different concepts.

As to the why of your question, communism doesn’t leave room for absolute morals. And an absolute moral giver doesn’t fit in with their ideology since the very concept gives power over the state.

Scene:
An early morning fundraising breakfast for a nonprofit literacy group that does a lot of very good work in Adult Basic Ed., ESL, and Citizenship classes.
I am sitting at a table with some typical, urban, white, self-aggrandizing liberals.
An ESL student from Ethiopia stands up, in front of approximately 175 people, and proceeds to demonstrate her hard-earned English skills in a speech. She thanks the literacy organization, her tutors, and lastly, she thanks America, and all Americans.
She repeats this a few times at the end of lovely and adorable speech. “Thank you to America and all Americans. Without America I would never be where I am today. Ever. I appreciate America and all Americans!!!!!!” (Big, huge smile.)
The applause was tepid and polite…and a woman at my table sneered, “Well, I certainly don’t appreciate all Americans,” with a slightly disgusted look on her face.
When the obligatory George Bush joke made its way into the morning, the applause was thunderous, the smiles were large and gracious, and the eyes were twinkling.
So, this brings me to my plan. Let’s deport all of the unappreciative, spoiled, ungrateful, snobby, typical, white liberals, and let in the people who love this country, and work hard to be successful - realizing how wonderful and amazing this place, and its people truly are.
Yet again, I was privy to the shallowness of liberal ideals when I saw that they couldn’t even warmly celebrate this woman’s triumphs, just because she loves this country.
I think some of the best testimony on that front I have seen reland1 is from Richard Wurmbrand.

Afternoon everybody. I may be on to something here. Besides being a torturer, murderer, and all-around Godless communist, apparently Che also didn’t care to bathe very often. That must be the attraction for the Code Pinkos.
It’s amazing, do these fools have any idea who and what he was in life? Do they realize they would be living under the thumb of a ruthless, killer that would enslave them only for as long as needed then be done with them?

Even just a cursory reading of his wiki shows him to be someone of less than good character. How anyone idolizes this murderous creton is beyond me.
