Sadly ex pat, threr isnt a spineless pol brave enough to speak out. Here in NC we have Richard Burr and Liddy Dole. I write letters to them expressing my outrage, and I get “form” letters back. However both are against an “amnesty” bill. But all the people of America would like to see at this point (a start!!) would be a politican expressing their outrage at this display. The guests are trashing the house of the host, and are now demanding the master bedroom to sleep in. Truly, I dont know wtf is going on anymore. It seems the people of this country have become powerless, while our elected reps do what they want to do regardless. The Founding Fathers are spinning like tops in their graves.

Just looking at the pictures above shows you who’s on the other side of the debate. What if we turned the pictures around?

If we had signs like that, we’d be racist hatemongers. They have signs like that, and its perfectly acceptable to trash our flag, disregard our laws, and generally assault what could otherwise be meaningful debate with cursing and thugish behavior.

What occurs to me is, that the people complaining the most about this are the ones who either arent directly affected, or who don’t want to be punished for breaking the law (if it should be the case they crossed illegally).

Send them all home. Make them get in line, like everyone else.
