On a recent trip to Borneo I found a Bic lighter that was a replica of the Twin Towers. When you lit it, flames shot out the top of the buildings. Tell the British tabloid about this Muslim humor.

I have to live in the middle of this stuff.. Europe is paralyzed by a majority of people who take the printed (and broadcast) word as gospel. I challenge anyone in the UK to tell me the difference in treatment by the US towards these prisoners of war and the UK in 1940 when they sent Nazi pilots to Canada for an indefinite period without the protection of legal process. Is it because the Nazis wanted to kill every Jew they saw (who does that sound like?) or is it because they bombed London (I wonder who else bombed London?)? I am not defending either the Nazi Fascists or the Islamo-Fascists, but the reprehensible two faced ideoligy by the left in Britain is so obvious. I wonder if Labour is currently asking themselves the same thing that the Dems did when they were defeated in 1994: “I wonder why the voters didn’t get our message?” Well guess what my Leftist Commie friends – the voters did and have been getting your message – and they didn’t like the result. It is once again a Conservative’s time to correct the mistakes of the left wing. Thatcher did a fine job and was screwed over for it – Just like Churchill was and, for that matter, just like Blair was when he made the sensible decision to back his nation’s best ally. Brown ran away from Iraq and points a finger at the US when the old British sector goes to pot.. We told you so.

The British left (sadly, most of them)seem to feel that thier ability to be pompass outweighs the common sense of thier two time betters and two time saviours (British spelling for effect). Once again, a great nation hijacked by the left. Maybe the right will come back (unless Labour takes a Zimbabwean tack..)

Ain’t it funny that almost all of Europe has taken a turn to the right in the last few years..

I tried submitting a comment on their web site. Tastful pointing out that every single Militiary base sells shirts with their name on it.

It still has not shown up as a comment. NEITHER HAS ANY OTHER COMMENT. The paper appears to approve them before they are posted, apparently none of them are thought to be worth while.

Is the shop seperate from the base we have maintained in Guantanamo? IE, we’ve had a Naval base there for over a century, and will long after any military detention camp might close. From the desription of some of the items sold in the shop, they sound like general GITMO stuff, versus those that might make reference to the the detention portion. If the shop does serve all of GITMO, isn’t it just like someone holding anti-American views to reduce all of GITMO to the detention camp??

It serves all of Gitmo, to include the civilians who are employed there. I brought back several of the items described in the article after serving as Company Commander at Camp Delta in 2004-2005.

Its just another in a long line of stories drumming up hate and discontent about Camp Delta.
