I don’t see right away how donations from other countries would have an effect on engineering programs. However, from the ‘liberal arts’ aspect it leaves a lot of questions and red flags.

More donations to press for more required courses about Islam and how great it is and how Islam could peacefully coexist with AmeriKKKa if only AmeriKKKa would drop that awful, hateful Christianity and Judaism addiction she has and convert.

A related case with Church’s Chicken

As colleges and universities tend to listen to their alumni – if only lip service to keep the donations coming in – they also listen to their donors. And donors can have a large impact on campus, if they donor threatens to withhold further donations. Now, I’m not ready to concern myself about Arabian Gulf donors trying to shove pork products off the cafeteria menus, but Sharia creep into our institutions of higher learningliberal-ing is something that cannot be ignored.

Isn’t the simple explanation for this just the fact they have so much more excess money to spend/donate than everyone else? I find it hard to believe that donations like these have much of an impact on university curricula…..and certainly insignificant compared to the flood of liberal activists embedded in the system since the 1960s.

there are reasonable grounds to fear that some foreign donations may purchase undue influence over the way in which highly controversial subjects are treated in American lecture halls.

If there is an issue, make it. Otherwise, shut up.

I was at an engineerng presentation three months ago with the cadets, they’re a serious bunch of people; and the best. I wish him good luck.

The US is the most giving country in the world, probably in the history of mankind. That is not to say there are some tycoons out there that suffer from avarice.

The nerds that are criticizing this post are the same ones that tell us to wait until we have the facts before we start talking.

The linked story is the first of several, Mr. Greene states, so maybe he needs to finish what he’s saying before someone tells him to shut up.

    Hey LGM:

It is a problem for the following reasons:

    a) Liberals FEAR Islam.

    b) You will witness your human secular values crumble as the tsuamni in the East rises in Europe. Holland, Belgium, Scandinavia, Germany, France all will fall to a 7th Century mindset while you shake your scronny fist at Christians

    c) Radical Islam has been at war with American since Japan surrundered in World War II. They’ve already got a 60 year lead on us, and many of members of your party can’t even assemble the gumption to see that their is a problem, much less deal with it.

With your mentality, the days of the West are numbered and counting down. Secularism and liberal values are going to take a massive, swift blow, and you what’s gonna happen then?

Liberals such as yourself will be marching off to the mosque. You won’t like it, you’ll curse it a million times over, but like good, submissive, self-haters, you’ll take it up the butt because you fear pain.

So either accept the truth or SHUT UP yourself.

It is interesting to send the information from Greene’s blog to Excel and filter it to see who gave what to whom and when. I think one thing the foreign gifts and contracts get is access to most of the brightest people in research in the world for pennies on the dollar for these investments, or “gifts”. Most of the cost is picked up by taxpayers and alumni.

The radical Imams preach that jihad is an individual obligation on EVERY Musilim. To that end, many musilims that can not go onto the battlefield to kill their way to paradise instead send money to support musilim interests and efforts to weaken the defenses of dar-al-harb through propaganda.

Unfortunately, Radical Islam has been at war with not just the USA, but the entirety of western civilization, rationality, enlightenment, and individualism since… 780 AD. A bit before WWII. The stated purpose of Islam is to convert all humans, impose sharia in every land, and establish the global calliphate as the world government. And the sad thing is, it’s just like Communism in the 60′s: people don’t understand that when our enemies say they want to “destroy the West” and “take over the world,” they aren’t doing Dr. Evil impressions, they mean it! They want to destroy our country, kill our leaders, and convert us to their brand of collectivist ideology.
