Unfortunately, Radical Islam has been at war with not just the USA, but the entirety of western civilization, rationality, enlightenment, and individualism since… 780 AD. A bit before WWII. The stated purpose of Islam is to convert all humans, impose sharia in every land, and establish the global calliphate as the world government. And the sad thing is, it’s just like Communism in the 60’s: people don’t understand that when our enemies say they want to “destroy the West” and “take over the world,” they aren’t doing Dr. Evil impressions, they mean it! They want to destroy our country, kill our leaders, and convert us to their brand of collectivist ideology.

As colleges and universities tend to listen to their alumni – if only lip service to keep the donations coming in – they also listen to their donors. And donors can have a large impact on campus, if they donor threatens to withhold further donations. Now, I’m not ready to concern myself about Arabian Gulf donors trying to shove pork products off the cafeteria menus, but Sharia creep into our institutions of higher learningliberal-ing is something that cannot be ignored.
