I took pictures on a ferry after 9-11, of New York City no less. While there's no doubt the left goes too far in ignoring the threat of terrorism, we do ourselves no service if we don't acknowledge that it's possible to go too far the other way. As we continue to freak out any time someone with a slightly darker complexion and dark hair and thick eyebrows does something suspicious we waste our resources and fail to address the real threat. I have a stock tip though. Invest in sun-screen, hair-dye, and eyebrow grooming companies. As regular people are forced to change their appearance to avoid suspicion, sales ought to go through the roof. I’m trying real hard to understand this.
