Game over for Hillary
She gave it her all, found her voice, lost her voice, smiled through her lies, lied through her cries, schemed, clawed, and cackled.
But alas, it was not enough.
She’s reportedly canceled her morning TV appearances today.
The New Math strategy is blowing up in her face.
She barely eked out an Indiana win with a puny, 2-point margin.
And although her campaign blog devotees haven’t given up, all signs point to Game Over.
Allahpundit sums it up in one paragraph:
Slate’s keeping an eye on RCP’s running popular-vote totals and notes that not only will Obama widen his delegate margin tonight, he’ll erase the PV gains she made in Pennsylvania. In fact, as of this moment, even if Florida and Michigan are counted RCP gives her a popular vote lead of just 3,000+ votes — a margin of less than one-tenth of one percent. And that’s assuming that the popular vote totals from the caucuses in Iowa, Washington, Maine, and Nevada (which weren’t reported) aren’t counted at all. If you estimate for those states, he ends up with a lead of more than 100,000. Which means she has nothing left to commend her to the supers except an electabilty argument unsupported by a single key metric or even circumstantial evidence that Pastorgate has done Obama grievous damage at the polls. Are they going to take the nomination from the first serious black candidate for president without any compelling data to hang their decision on? Not a chance. It’s over. Let’s move on.
The Clintons are not known for graceful exits.
This should be entertaining, to say the least.

When I see the wooden stake driven through her chest, maybe I’ll believe it.
And as far as michelle Obama;
The witch is dead, long live the new witch.
You forgot something…..
DLTDHYOTWO.
According to the delegate count, neither one is going to the convention with enough pledged delegates to out them over the top.
Expect the extortion tactics to start now.
I think she’ll find a way to stash the Sandy Berger shreddings under Obama’s bed. Nothing, methinks, will keep her from forging ahead and try to derail any possibility of OHB from winning.
If McCain (ptui!) wins (arrggghhh!) he is a one-termer. Hillary is not old yet, and Obama’s bitter half may get more rabidly bitter during another Republican administration.
Hillary may possibly be down for a “4″ count, but I won’t count her out until, as MAINE YANKEE said, “…I see the wooden stake driven through her chest…”
This is gonna get messy. I’ll be in the comfy chair, with the popcorn.
If Hillary finds a way to make it happen, there will be a lot of Obamamania supporters that sit on their hands on election day. My suggestion: someone ought to start up a nice little write-in campaign for the loser of the Democratic nomination…siphon some votes off.
My heart weeps…NOT!!!
I am still confident she will find a way to torpedo Obama and steal the nomination. After all, she is a Klinton.
Well,a lot can happen in 4 years…even if Obama loses to McCain…and in 2012 Rodham would have to run for reelection to her Senate seat…and by then New Yorkers may be terminally tired of her…..so this could very well be her only shot at it…but if she and Slick don’t have the requisite superdelegates already blackmailed into supporting her,she will have to pull one helluva rabbit out of her hat to take this any further
I guess I can put my plans to flee the country on hold for another 4 years.
In the words of the immortal Flounder:
“Oh boy, is…this… GREAT!!!!”
I doubt this is over already. The Clintons have far too much political influence and can still do a lot to derail an Obama nomination, although he is pretty obviously the chioce of the party base. I predict an interesting Democratic convention this year…
Hillary ain’t done yet.
I, too, doubt she will exit gracefully. But if she does, let me rephrase DLTDHYOTWO with this:
DLMSTDIYFAYTTS! (Don’t let me slam the door in your face as you try to stay!)
Even Operation Chaos couldn’t save her. I think there were lots of “operation chaos” operatives who were so afraid of Shrillary pulling it out, that they voted for Obama. I agree, Michelle. It should be entertaining, if nothing else.
Somebody must have moved the bar on her creating insurmountable barriers that only a man could reach? Or is that a race thing? I get so confused with all of the politics of division and deception.
We’ll know the Clintons have abandoned hope when the employees at the DNC come into work and discover that all the “O”s have been removed from their computer keyboards. Until then…
I suggest the Secret Service increase their detail guarding BHO. They might have to stop him from committing suicide with a shotgun blast to the back of the head.
8 years ago there was terror in my heart knowing the ice queen would be running for POTUS. Yesterday i cast my vote for her to protect myself from an even bigger threat!! (i washed my finger in kerosene after pushing the button). The beast is not ready to roll over: worst case scenario is a ticket as obummers running mate, and she takes the helm after 8 years. We could get 16 years of Liberal Oppression.
I’m just exhausted with all this crap. I want it to be OVER.
It ain’t over ’til the fat-ankled lady sings.

I find it hard to believe that you guys would be so crass as to pick on her thighness’ physical attributes.
I’m with englishqueen01 #19. And I wholeheartedly agree with MM that BHO’s bitter half will ensure that he never sees the West Wing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Clintons believe the party owes them something and they are not going drop out until the last vote at the convention. When Tony Rezco gets sentenced he will start singing like a bird to get his time behind bars reduced. Wright, Ayers, Michelle and Tony something is going to pop up to give Hillary an argument against Obama’s elect-ability.
EQ, Vicky…agreed.
Someone needs to go to her dressing room and tell the fat lady she’s on in 5…
I have this feeling that if and when Hillary loses, she will relegate herself to the same fate Al Gore did when he lost the 2000 election. For 8 years he has tried to make himself important with his fakeumentary, “An Inconveinant Truth” and his speaking engagements of how us evil Republicans are killing the environment.
Of course, maybe she will remain in the limelight by being on the next season of “The Surreal Life.” Just a thought.
It always comes down to; ‘How many FBI files were there and whose names were on them’?

Yesterday i cast my vote for her to protect myself from an even bigger threat!! (i washed my finger in kerosene after pushing the button).
If we ever meet, I’m NOT shaking hands with you! You’ve contaminated them with Hellary Rotten Clinton cooties!
cicerokid #18, I can’t imagine HRC waiting 8 years as VP to take the helm…if you know what I mean.
h.r. “puffnstuff” clinton lust for power for sure. her hand will have to be pried away from the podium when obummer is anounced nominee. It’s hard to see her swallow any pride and accept VP but she’ll take what she can get as a stepping stone.
I just got a mental picture of Hillary with a wig and a knife in a dark room…slowly moving toward Obama - knife raised…lightening flashing…
OMG - I’m awake now..
As sickening as the Clintons are, he is much much worse.
We better find a way to bury him or the United States is finished.
As happy as I am to see “she who must not be named” going down in flames to end up on the trash heap of history, I am really nervous about the General Election. The American people are just stupid enough to go for the empty suit. I can see the campaign adds now, “If you don’t vote for Obama Lama Ding Dong you are a racist.” Unless a miracle happens during the Republican Convention it’s looking like time to invest in canned goods and shotguns come January.
Stick a fork in her - just not my fork!
Probably not popular here, but I would much rather HRC win the nomination than BHO. He is a marxist all the way. HRC is only slightly worse than mcamnesty on most issues. I could tolerate her just as much as mcamnesty. BHO, not so much. And mcamnesty cheerleaders please refrain from telling me how much better mcamnesty is than HRC. Because he is not IMHO.
Put me down for a Vince Foster solution to occur before August.
A crook or a traitor or a crook. That is our current Presidential race. Assuming for a moment that BO is elected, with the perpetually angry Mrs. Black America as his co-president, the number of black politicians lining up for a big pay day and for cabinet positions should be very entertaining. Unless he delivers big time to black America, he loses his base. He will have to quickly appease Sharpton, Rev. Jackson, right quick before they start talking about his white half. All of his decisions will be analyzed as coming from his white or black side. His choice of VP will be a hoot. It will need to be someone with “gravitas” and it must be a woman to appease Hitlery’s crowd. And it must be someone so obviously unqualified as to owe their complete loyalty to BO and not the USA - a Clinton specialty. Look for the Chinese to put him to the test right after the Olympics by declaring an embargo zone around Taiwan. At same time, Chavez and the other Bolivian creep will start trouble in the Gulf of Mexico.
The crisis will start very soon.
I know why Hillary has lost. It was that damn vast right and left wing conspiracy. Plus the media was unfair to Hill. Don’t forget all you sexist pigs that want to keep women down. I’ve heard through the grapevine the dog ate all her original world changing life saving ideas before she could share them with us. Global warming! Don’t forget global warmings impact on her campaign. Wait! I’ve forgotten the biggest reason Hill has lost the democrat nomination. George freakin’ Bush! It’s all GW’s fault. Everything is GW’s fault. That’s just common knowledge.
I wonder if the Obamas have any cats. If so, they ought to keep them hidden until the convention is over.
She could still win with super delegates if there is an Obama meltdown.
Which is possible.
DLTDHYOTWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obama had really better watch his back now.
You really think Obama would put himself in a position where the only thing between himself and Hillary being president is his death?
If true, I’m relieved. Think about it. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton. Twenty years of Bushes and Clintons are enough.
Mccain vs Obama. Old and Bad for America vs Young and Bad for America. What great choices in 2008. Where’s my extra strength Tylenol?
Hillary’s hoping against hope at this point that another skeleton is going to come tumbling out of Obama’s closet. It’s all she has left to cling to.
But even if that happens, it won’t change the outcome. Obama has already had multiple damaging gaffes and exposures that would’ve sank anybody else’s campaign by now, but because of the phalanx of black voters behind him none of that matters. At this point, he could start saying the same things that Wright and Ayers have and still get the donkey nomination.
Obama has fulfilled the one and only legitimate public service he could perform for this country: prevent the Clintons from re-infesting the White House. The question now becomes whether McCain will have any better luck against the Teflon Candidate. I used to be cautiously optimistic about that, but am beginning to wonder.
It’s distressing to see that so many people in this country are so determined to go back to 9/10 that they’ll fall for any demagogue who promises to take them there. But it’s undeniable. I’ve said that Obama is a cross between George McGovern and Jimmy Carter, and that’s true; but he’s also a cross between the Pied Piper and the Music Man, and that prospect is frightening.
What has me buying sodium bicarbonate by the case is that the general election is going to be between two groups: one motivated by a hatred of their opposition as unquenchable as Greek Fire, and the other propelled by little more than ennui.
And once the media and the donkeys begin to march in lock-step behind the New Messiah, the momentum will be almost impossible to break: the American 21st Century version of “The Emperor Has No Clothes” will see the crowd turn on the kid who points that out about Obama, and tear him to shreds.
I think we’re in trouble, folks.
I see no reason why she would exit the race at this time, or why she would not continue to the convention (notwithstanding some big jump in Obama delegates, thereby reaching “the number” prior to the convention). The numbers simply are not yet final.
I don’t think the game is over. That is why all these dems want her to quit the race. She can contest the convention itself. The Obama count does not include Michigan and Florida. Neither have deligates from that state. Those states and Hillary can contest the ruling of the “party leaders” who made up the rules as they went. If that happens and the vote goes into a 2nd round, all delegates are free to switch. I think in light of the information coming out about Obama and his associates, she could win.
Imagine the Democrats having to go to the Supreme Court explaining why Florida votes SHOULD NOT count.
- Regulus
Sad part is, I now think she would do less damage there than Obama (earlier in the process, I had the opposite opinion).
Rush had a funny line a couple of months ago, something like “I’ll believe it when I see her feet sticking out from under the house”.

It is like watching the end of T2 where the terminator perishes in the molten metal.
Still, she has more balls than the other candidates.
I don’t want her to quit yet.. It’s been a real good thing to have them blowing so much money on each other!
Do you think Obama will take Hillary out to dinner when it’s all over though?
I heard she was shorter on Cash than he is these days..
~ Dan Lee
I do have to ask this though.. What about this?
RCP Average for Democratic National Nomination
Candidate Average
Obama 45.1
Clinton 44.9
Spread: Obama +0.2
On little mistake, & she’s back in play..
Ayers Stomping on the flag? Does anyone care in the moderate independent arena? What say you?
I mean that really hasn’t gotten out widespread yet. The MSM is trying to bury it..
~Dan Lee
Why did Michelle Obama need affirmative action to get into Princeton?
Anyone know?
That’s good.
Watching her now on Fox.. Doesn’t sound like she’s going to quit to me..
We need the shrillary to stay in the race as long as possible. Eventually anyone who runs against or speaks against B. Hussein will be vilified as a Racist. We need that to stay inside the Democrat Party until it becomes so obvious that even Rusty & lgm know the Democrats are the Racists.
Hopefully I’m an idiot, but she is doing exactly what she needs to do in running hard against Obama. If McCain is looking at the total votes cast on the R side versus the D side, and if he’s willing to be pragmatic and will do anything to win, then he won’t reach across the isle and choose an R for VP. He’ll stay on his side and give the nod to his very good friend, Hillary Clinton. In doing that, he’ll adopt all her votes, he’ll keep the pragmatic party Rs, and he’ll easily win in November.
If I’m correct, someone please come shoot me. Because with that as POTUS and VPOTUS, the White House and ALL of Congress will fall all over themselves racing to take us through the hardest left turn in our nation’s history.
Although I was never intending to vote for her, I’d rather see her running against McCain…kinda “the devil you know vs the devil you don’t.”
Obama is just too “Stepford Wife” for me…he’s all veneer, nothing solid. He’s young, handsome, smart, charming, & charismatic & I don’t trust the guy.
Although, as a political opponent against the Republicans, I think McCain has a better chance of winning against him than Hillary. There’s bound to be more “Rev. Wrights” in Barrys closet…November is a long way off.
I think the Bosnia lie was the beginning of the end. No matter what she did after the Bosnia big lie, it was obvious that Hillary was now a laughingstock. I am sure that John McCain’s heroic war history and military career had something to do with the Hilllary Bosnia lie. The Clintons could not accept that their life stories were without any heroics whatsoever. Neither Clinton has ever done anything that involved personal sacrifice or personal risk. John McCain, whatever one thinks of his policies or personality, has lived a life of risk, of sacrifice and of daring. So Hillary had to concoct her own life story to rival McCain. The best that she could do was to concoct a story of surviving sniper fire in Bosnia. By the time she started repeating this big lie, she may have actually convinced herself that it was so. That has happened to phony war veterans who wear phony ribbons. After a while, they may convince themselves that they really fought in battle. In any event, after the Bosnia fishtale, Hillary’s goose was cooked.
Maybe she’ll grace us with another good on-camera bout of crying.
What surprizes me is that BO has outspent Hil and still can’t put her away. He didn’t get rid of her after her sniper lie. This would have been over if the control freek dems had a winner take all system. They are getting what they deserve. I never thought that politics could be so entertaining. In the end, race will trump gender, as it has in the past.
Larraby,
Hillarycare in 1993 was the beginning of the end. That was when she went from “loving wife” (whooooo.. that’s a hoot) to Socialist pig. And when it didn’t work out for her and she threw a fit like a 13 year old.. We all (including Bill) saw what we had to deal with.
The MSM has bent over backwards to suppress the memories of the ’90s.
My only hope is that the RNC has the guts to actually fight a campaign. They haven’t actually shown a pair since Regan won when I was in the 6th grade. All the RNC has to do is state the facts to the public. Liberals can never win an argument based on facts.
My thoughts exactly.
I still think she may mount a legal attack to get the votes in Fla. & Michigan counted..
If you think about it, there are ways of doing that without her looking like like the aggressor..
I mean after all, the Dems did in effect screw their own constituants out of having a voice in the Primaries in those states. Some of THOSE PEOPLE might have a chance under the 1965 voting act.. No?
I still believe that this run for office by Hillary was nothing more than a way for Bill to circumvent the Constitution and get back into the White House. His long political career, 8 years as President, a very inexperienced wife…what better way to get back to the Oval Office? Heck, if I was in his place, and lusting for power, I would do the same; promote my wife.
and he looks like Curious George.
She’s got BCS - Battered Candidate Syndrome:
Symptoms: inability to recognize that people simply do not want to nominate you for the highest office in the land (or any other office for that matter), five-o-clock shadow at ten in the morning, thunder thighs, hairy chest, the general belief that one is a man, debt level equivalent to that of a small third-world nation, ability to turn into a fire breathing dragon at will, unnatural obsession with buggery. Calls self woman, nature says otherwise.
Indeed. I won’t be surprised if she fights it all the way to the convention.
Really, doesn’t everyone get it? She is destined to lead another Clinton administration in the White House. Didn’t you get the memo?
/sarcasm off
I’m with AJ…
I think it is time ti pull a Brewster’s Millions and have a None of the Above (or Michelle Malkin) write in campaign.
Choosing the lesser of 3 evils is not my idea of the right way to use my patriotic duty to vote
I guess I’ve been away too long.
But let me see if I’ve got this straight.
You guys appear to be caught up in Obamamania with the libs…?
I don’t like Hillary. I pretty much can’t fathom a single thing she believes in. But at least I know what those things are!
You may hate her stance on X,Y &Z. But at least she has one. Obama just dreams about having a stance. He’ll let us know how it’s all going to work out AFTER you elect him.
Yet you all are here bashing Hillary. And I’ve seen several of you actively supporting Obama as I read over the comments from the last several days. Umm.. I’m not one of those freaks that thinks Obama is a closet muslim. I just don’t like the man. He’s all promises and fluff. You listen to the words coming out of his mouth and he says… NOTHING. He says it very prettily. Enthusiastically even. He’s got half the country wound up and backing him…
But they can’t even tell you why they are. “We need a change”… ok. I’ll buy that. But needing a change isn’t the same as leading a dark horse into the oval office and saying.. ok here it is.. do what you want.
If Hillary wins I’ll have alot of issues to fight. Alot of letters to my congresspeople. But I know that going into it.
What does anyone really know about Obama other than that his wife is a bitch? And his Pastor is a total frootloop. At least Bill is rather charming in his sleezy lawyer way.
I’m not supporting either Obama or Hillary but I’m certainly not going to sit here and Hillary bash. I hate the woman. But it takes guts to do what she’s doing.
but don’t worry..
I won’t let the door hit me in the ass on the way out either…
3steps, you make some good points. Hillary is fun to bash but Obama is an unknown - and the hints are ominous.
It occurred to me last night why he always uses the word “change”. If you’re not black it has a certain intellectual meaning but little in the way of affect. If you are black however, it might have a profound emotional content as well. Sam Cooke recorded a song during the 1960s that is linked emotionally by the black community to civil rights. It’s called “Change is Gonna Come”. Here are some of the lyrics:
“Then I go to my brother
I say brother help me please
But he winds up knocking me
Back down on my knees
There’s been times that I thought
I wouldn’t last for long
But now I think I’m able to carry on
It’s been a long, long time coming
But I know a change is gonna come
Oh, yes it will”
Obama’s run for President is so charged with emotion for black Americans that the lack of specifics in his proposed change is unimportant. Thus the 90% vote. The word “change” is a symbol, a sign if you will…
Michelle Obama says everyone is knocking her husband “to his knees” and the image resonates with the black community despite the fact he’s Ivy educated.
Rev Wright just made his True Believers even more resolute. At this point he may be unstoppable.
Obama committing Arkancide in 5,4,3,2….
I wouldn’t vote for Hillary, although I always thought she the smart one of the Clintons. All along, I thought she really pulled all the strings and was the real power behind the throne.
I’m just really afraid about Obama.
Deep down I think the world isn’t getting the true picture of him. And finding out after he’s President is the worst thing this country can do.
I guess I’m just a skeptic. I’m not finding any substance in his message, or falling for the hype.
God help us if we get fooled.
I don’t think Michelle Malkin is eligible to run. I believe you have to be 36 years old. I may write her in anyway.
I’ve been advocating this for months.. Michelle is one of the most brilliant people I know of, who understands the most important issues effecting our country, but also Loves this country to her core.. That’s why I’ve already committed to writing her in for President in the GE. The sad fact is that most of these stooges that call themselves Republicans these days have no clue what it really means to be a Conservative. They all deserve to be upstaged by this brilliant Political mind. Even Newt has lost his way.. She is one of the next great Conservative leaders, & she won’t be bought off by anyone. That I know for sure.

Warning - harsh language - sorry if I offend
This brings back shades of a South Park episdoe where the kids play a joke on making suggestions for a new school mascot. In the end the school has to vote for either a douche or a turd sandwich. That episode will probably be relvent to the next 10 election cycles.
havok,
That pretty much sums up every election cycle I’ve voted on.
If I was Obama I would be watching my 6.
Somewhere in China the bureaucrat in charge of the state’s investment in the Clintons is being hustled off to a prison cell.
