The witchy women of Code Pink
It’s true. The nutballs of Code Pink have turned to witchcraft to wage their battle against the military recruiting center in Berkeley. Catherine Moy at Move America Forward first reported the new moonbat technique:
The radical anti-military group, Code Pink, finally shows the world what its membership is made of: witches and crones. Seriously. This week, Code Pink is holding a series of events and street theater to get themselves some more notoriety. You’d think it would be enough that they have attacked the Marine recruiting center and traveled the world coddling dictators and handing out money to terrorists’ families. But nooooooo!!!!
The witches of Code Pink plan to gather at their usual place of harassment, the Marine Corps Recruiting Center in Berkeley, and cast some spells to chase the recruiters away. From Code Pink’s Website:
“Friday, May 9th: Witches, Crones, Sirens: perform rituals of leaving, cast a spell of peace and love over the station, rendering nil the recruiting of our youth to become fodder for this occupation of Iraq.”
Moonbats howling at the moon.

Capt. John Paul Wheatcroft said he’s unfazed by Code Pink’s antics.

Folks, the best thing I’ve heard about all this is that the Marines say they are recruiting an average of 10 officer candidates a week; much, much higher than they were before Code Stink started this crap.

I live 2 miles north of Berkeley. I always make a point of going past this recruiting station every time I go to campus at UC Berkeley, which is often.
I always wave at the Code Stink cows and remind them that I am a veteran, my brother is a retired Colonel, my dad is a retired BG, etc.
They are not happy with me.
All I want now is my Gitmo Gift Shop shirt, Michelle. Please find some way to let us buy the things online. I will wear mine in Berkely every weekend and send pix to you.

Increase the size of the recruitment center there, and use Berkeley to train Marines “under hostile conditions” to exceed their recruitment goals. Everybody wins!!!

As a conservative, Reagan-voting, military-supporting attorney who is also a witch, I couldn’t agree more. I apparently didn’t get the memo that says all Wiccans/pagans are required to be fruitcake lefties. There are fringe elements in every religion who are absolutely off the map (Westboro Baptist Church, for example). There are plenty of my colleagues in the Craft who are business owners, professionals, and politically conservative.
