Updating yesterday’s post: The witchy women of Code Pink were true to their word. They turned out in Berkeley today to cast their anti-war spells in front of the Marine recruitment center.
My good friends at Move America Forward showed up to sprinkle salt as an antidote.

Members of the anti-war group Code Pink gathered Friday with a cauldron of flowers outside a controversial Marine Corps Recruiting Center in Berkeley, Calif., to use witchcraft to rally against the Iraq war.
Code Pink members unfurled a pink banner reading “Troops Home Now” and waved signs as they began the protest, which they promised would include incantations and pointy hats for a “witches, crones and sirens” day.
“Women are coming to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we’re going to end war,” Zanne Sam Joi of Bay Area Code Pink told FOXNews.com.
A few women stood outside the recruiting center Friday with signs that read “Peace” and “Warmongers — Eating Our Children for Profit.” Many wore pink T-shirts.
Others pulled out a cauldron filled with flowers from a car draped with a pink sheet.
Members of the pro-troops group Move Forward America came armed with packages of salt, which they spread around the recruiting station to keep the Marines safe from spells. The group’s Web site implored members to bring brooms to “mock the anti-American witches of Code Pink.”
FoxNews has a 24/7 “Protest Cam” that streams live video from outside the Berkeley Marine recruiting station.

I’m a pagan, and a witch. I’m also a 12 year veteran of the US Armed Forces, a proud United States CITIZEN for many generations, and above all intelligent.
These Code Twit girls are so full of it, it’s ridiculous. I’m half tempted to sue them for religious slander and a hate crime against pagans for acting like such idiots.
Just so you know (and could you please pass this along to all your readers) there are hundreds, if not thousands of pagans in the military. On my ship alone we had over 30. Frankly, everyone I know would take serious offense to this idiots at Berkley, both for disgracing witchcraft, and for disgracing the military by their presence.
Unfortunately, those same offended people, myself included, would gladly fight and die to defend their free speech rights to be morons, even though they wouldn’t appreciate that fact, of course.
Just thought I’d share.

I feel sorry for the real Wiccans in this country to have the moonbats from Code Pinko showing so much disrespect for their religious beliefs. I live about ten minutes away from downtown Berkeley. These idiots are everywhere; they protest the Marines, they try to carry banners on the GG Bridge, they are currently badgering Pelosi’s neighbors in SF with a “vigil” over war funding. I can honestly say that most people ignore them or don’t care, but of course there are plenty of lefties here that think they’re great. Personally, I believe Susie (Medea) Benjamin has some serious issues. Her specialty is confrontation, disruption, and throwing a fit when she doesn’t get her way. One year, she decided to run for the Senate against Feinstein. No one took her seriously, of course. The night of a debate between Feinstein and the Republican guy, Benjamin stormed the TV station and tried to smash her way into the studio. She was arrested. That was the first I had heard of her, and she hasn’t shut up since.
I wish the Marines would send her to Gitmo.
Impart wisdom? Code Pink? That would be a first. When’s hell freezing over?

When it comes to groups like CodePink and other liberal outfits, you have to be Muslim to get special treatment. Some atheists do to, but not if they are conservative, as a surprising number are.
I still think the Marines should quietly one night truck in an M1 tank and park in front of the recruiting station. Then arrest the code stinkos when they deface it. Also it would be a hoot watching the City trying to tow it away.

There are members of congress who are not embarrassed to be associated with these mental defects.
I don’t doubt that these women are opposed to the war. But, it seems to me that they are much more interested in calling attention to themselves than in ending the war.
Thing is, lives are being lost in Iraq & Afghanistan. We should be having serious discussions about how long we are going to continue our efforts over there. Those opposed to the war should have a part in that discussion. Unfortunately, these little girls playing dress up make people with more serious, considered opinions look like idiots by association.

When I went to Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, there was an Earth Based Religious service for Wiccans and Pagans. There were many of us; close to 30-40 regulars. We would discuss our religious views and then meditate.
You can have your religious preference on your ID tags to say Pagan or Wiccan or Witchcraft.
I wonder if those fluffy pagans realize that it specifically says not to send out anything that can come back on you. If you do a spell to influence the minds of others, that is a negative spell. You are only supposed to using magic to help others not change opinions.
If only we could drop a house on these broads.

I’ve got a buddy who lives in D.C.. He’s from Oakland, and went to Berkeley in the early 80’s. He’s an Obama guy. He is cool as hell, and isn’t a lib freak, he just see’s the world from the perspective of a black man who is a lifelong Democrat. He still believes the party is what it was. I don’t argue politics with him, because I truly respect him. He has a completely different lifes perspective than I do. He’s wrong, but he’s sincere. I will say this. He was a Clintonista. And when B.J.Billy disgraced himself, my friend stuck by B.J.Billy. He has bought into the MSM and Demolib propaganda about Republicans.
He’s 51. I see him evolving, and it’s not too late. I left the Democrat Party completely and 100% on 9/11/01.
I grew up that day.

Given the fact that I can only make my living where I live by working online, I happen to know a little about the spam compliance act of 2003. If they are in violation and do not have an opt-out option in every email, they can be nailed for that. Whether anyone left in our gubmint has the testicular fortitude to go after them or not remains to be seen but it is something that is taken seriously most of the time.
