Limiting CO2 has NOTHING to do with the word ‘green’ - NOTHING. Plants do BETTER with more CO2 and they are the green things. The less than 400PPM concentration of CO2 right now is at an historic LOW point in earth’s long history matched by only one other ‘brief’ period about 300 million years ago.

Not trying to make them equivolent, but this reminded me of a passage in Jonah Goldberg’s latest book, “Liberal Fascism”. In writing about the Che Guevera-chic phenomenon and general liberal swooning over tyrants and genocidal monsters, Goldberg remarks something along the lines of “you wouldn’t dress your infant in a Mussolini onsie or give your toddler a Himmler sippy cup, would you?”

Did anyone actually look at this item in the McCain store? The words ‘organic’ or ‘green’ don’t appear. In fact, the entire description reads “McCain Onesie.”
Now (to correct Michelle’s error) the real product you’re critiquing is this one: The real go green onesie.. Go Green? Green lettering? Get it? You should at least focus your outrage properly, otherwise you’ll damage your chi and stuff.
At least all of McCain’s stuff does read ‘Made in the USA’ so he has that going for him.
Of course you ‘conservatives’ are opposed to using anything grown and made in the US, right? Of course you ‘conservatives’ want to wrap your babies in cloth made by huge conglomerates and tainted with who knows how many chemicals, right? No wonder so many of you are retards.
And for those of you who equate environmentalism with leftists, you have no sense of history. Possibly the greatest conservationist of the 20th century was the REPUBLICAN Teddy Roosevelt. He was a true conservative and understood we only have one Earth and it’s worth preserving.

I just finished the book “River of Doubt” about T. Roosevelt’s nearly fatal expedition in South America- Very interesting and well-written. To address your comment, not all conservatives are polluters and many, such as myself are in favor of realistic conservation- but not ineffective, pc nonsense that does nothing to really help except weaken our economic potential while turning a blind eye to the worst of the actual offenders (Mexico, China, ..hello?).
It’s easy to be a warrior when you are hiding behind the protection of our culture in the US. Do you really care enough to risk your life and freedom? I doubt it.
I also wonder about liberals who think evolution is gospel. By that thinking, polar bears should learn to adapt or else become extinct. That is evolution in action- propping them up artificially is counter to natures way. If don’t believe me, ask the DoDo.

I put my recycling out this morning. McLame’s pander to younger voters will not work, and young conservatives like myself are left to wonder why I should vote for someone who sounds just like the liberal party line (AGW, illegal immigration, etc). AGW is the biggest scientific fraud ever conceived and yet Bush and McLame are jumping off the bridge for it.

Don’t have time to read all the comments. I recently quit a part-time job with Carter’s - they make clothes for infants and children. One of the newer items before I left was a collection of “organic cotton” blanket and gown/bib/cap coordinates. They were about twice a much as the ordinary blankets and gown sets. I can sorta understand wanting organic fruits, veggies, meat & dairy, but COTTON?? You’re WEARING it, not EATING it!
