You know what I find interesting about liberals? Liberals are bigots. Liberals see Michelle as a woman, not a Conservative with a different opinion than theirs.
Libs think women are homogenous. Real women are feminist activists, fighting for their sisters right to abort her child. Women are angry at “the man” keeping them down. Women are just another “union” of voters to Democrats.
It’s the same with blacks. Real blacks believe in Affirmative action, set asides, and reparations. Real blacks should be grateful to Democrats for helping them, because Democrats know that without Democrat help, blacks are also being oppressed and held down by the man. And therefore are incapable of succeeding without the help of Democrats.
It’s called PANDERING. It lacks any sense of mutual respect.
So naturally if you are a woman, and you don’t toe the Democrat line, you are a BITCH that needs to be SLAPPED.

DJ - I always told her she overestimated her own brilliance (like some we know, lol) and underestimated mine and that was why I always got the best of her.
Maybe I’m being an optomist, but I don’t think that line of clothing is going to sell well. I don’t think our society, as a whole, is ready for such trash. Sure, some will buy, because some are just “gone” when it comes to common sense, but I think most parents would refuse such stuff. I do know that kids like to go to a “friend’s” house and change into something provocative before school. Seen that, working in schools. Such people hid behind their keyboards to be provocative, that they certainly wouldn’t do, face to face. It shows lack of class and such opinions aren’t worth spending time reading.

So often liberals advocate violence against those with whom they disagree, or resort to name-calling, or, as Joy in #28 showed, tried to destroy their personnal property, all in the name of peace and “tolerance”.
But, I do like the fact we can agree on the need to raise children with good morals, and the need to just let them be children rather than making them grow up too quickly.
I’m always impressed by the thin skins of people here. I’ve been threatened with all kinds of violence, worse than bitch slapping.

Maybe I’ve got MM wrong on this one, but I think many of you have missed the point of this thread. I think MM is making the point that even a hardened liberal who otherwise has complete disdain for Michelle and her views agrees with her as to the ridiculousness of this particular clothing line.

I think you are right concerning the point of the thread Dakine, but I think another point is that she’s showcasing another “liberal” yahoo who is insulting her. Much like Bill O., I think she diminshes herself by giving press to people that otherwise aren’t noteworthy or relevant. It’s supposed to create a gang up session on the insulter in question, but I think it showcases a trait of thin-skinned, pettiness, and wasted webspace. But hell, it’s not my blog.
On a sidenote, you gotta read Bill Simmons’ new article on Doc Rivers and the Celtics. The man is brilliant.
