Hi, Ya’ll. Last night before the sandman hit me with a dose of doze, I had the most uncomfortable think-fight with myself. Can you imagine, all you ladies, having to be swathed in black robes…head to toe…in the heat of CA, AZ, NM, TX, etc., etc.? I’m a tank top and shorts, kinda gal..I would rather be DEAD than too hot! My itty bitty husband is always too cold…I can’t get cool enough! One can always put more clothing on…but there is just so much one can take off! I hope our young people ( who like to get naked at the drop of a hat ) remember this when they insist on installing BHO as POTUS…LOL!

I feel bad that I sat my lazy A$$ in front of the boob-tube all weekend watching the Ninja Warrior Weekend. I feel like I missed out on a little bit of fun. Oh well, I enjoyed Ninja Warrior with my family.

Zion and Bryce are some of the most beautiful areas….period.

Although I know of a lake in the southeast that is pretty nice too.

That will be fantastic. 5 years ago when I moved from Arizona I did a final northern tour through Canyon de Chelly and Monument Valley and then the Grand Canyon. I love Arizona. I was born and raised there, but now I’m a Kalifornian. I love this area I live in. On the coast almost to Oregon.

You have a great evening too. I’m going to watch a Shirly Temple movie and go to bed.

Canyon de Chelly is better though than the Grand Canyon. Have you been there? Less commercialized, cool ruins, much more up close and personal and easier to get around.

JOy! I am lovin it. Another California Conservative.

Ive never been to the GC, but I got a road trip scheduled in July. Chaco is on it, so is Antelope, Zion, Bryce and Mesa Verde. I cant wait!!!

I went to Zion and Bryce all but 3 years ago…and promised myself I had to go back. From the moment the landscape slipped from my rear-view mirror.

It was one of those hair-brianed stunts that I had decided to do in less then four days from the Bay Area. I got 10 days now, and I have every intention of enjoying every moment of it without being pressed for time (and without a cranky man!!! lol) I am almost positive I wont get lost this time. Just b-friend, sister and Me.

ANWR and surrounding areas have billions and billions of barrels. Add North Dakota, SD, eastern MT, offshore Atlantic and offshore CA, Gulf of Mexico, for starters. They have drilled in the gulf for 40 yrs. and not a drop spilled. Even through all of the terrible storms.

Feebs – I was just making a point. I don’t think we’d have to do that if we’d drill in ANWAR and off the coasts of Florida, Texas, California, etc.

You know what’s really crazy is how much oil is off the coast of MEHECO. For the life of me I can’t imagine why they’re not taking advantage of that.

Is it just me, or does Obama’s new revelation ring of a “malaise-Carter-type-nail-in-the coffin” type capitulation to everything America is about?

PS. I really cant explian to you why, but Drilling in the Canyon would be off limits to me…Drill any where else but the Canyon.
