How about talking to these scientists before he pushes any further with his climate change agenda?
Because according to Gore and all the rest of the Kool-Aide Klutch, every last one of these "scientists" are all bought and paid for by "Big Oil" and everyone and everything that could possibly benefit from having this hoax exposed.

It falls in line with everything that the Democrats are finally feeling brave enough to come forward and tell people. They are finally coming forward with their agenda to silence ANYONE who DARES speak out against the Left and their agenda, especially Herr Obama.

They are working ever forward towards the day when the opposition becomes outlawed. They are working on our children, brainwashing and indoctrinating them from the moment they can walk and talk...from "Barney" to "Sesame Street", they are being told that anyone, even their own parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and friends are nothing short of heretics. They are worthy of being exposed as such and eventually turned in to the Special Police...all 150,000 of them, to be imprisoned and re-educated.

The parallels between what is going on now and what was happening in Germany between 1923-1932 are staggering and I, and many others, have been stating it for awhile now. Sure, there are some big things lacking, such as numerous different political parties marching around the streets and such, but the basic similarities are there.

All that is lacking is a clearly defined lackey. Rather than the Jews, who will they settle on? Republicans? Conservatives? Those that refuse to buy into the "Global Warming/Weather Change" hoax? Some combination of all of them or something/someone else?

Three days ago, Obama and the DNC came out and boldly told people to actively rid the airwaves of a private citizen who DARED to speak his mind, who DARED to not only speak against Obama and his policies, but state out loud that he hopes that they fail. Why? What are they afraid of? Does that matter? Is not the bigger issue that they would put forth such an effort to silence a private citizen, making that person a pariah simply for having an opposing view.

This man has not been in office much longer than one week, and already the damage they are doing to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is staggering.

How long will the people of this country wait until they stand up against this False Idol, this False Messiah and redeem this nation and save it from the irreparable destruction those they so willingly elected out of greed and avarice are so rapidly committing daily.

Say what you will about Bush, but so far, all they have proven to me is that the last 8 years have been nothing but projection of what they plans and hopes were once they finally took control.

Does anyone have any information on DeSmogBlog? One of my readers sent me this link to a posting saying the Oregon Petition was false. The blog looks suspect to me, but I'd like to find out the real scoop...

Thanks!

I don't even bother referring to them as 'computer models'; they really are just fancy curve fitting routines tweaked to the max to insure the continued employment of the tweakers.

Real models apply repeatable, reliable scientific CERTAINTIES such as using using Newton's gravity equation to model orbital mechanics. Even though that isn't quite perfect - it's easily good enough to get you to the moon and back every time.

Where have the IPCC climate curve fitting routines gotten us?

Once again, Danceswithdachshunds makes a superb point!

Compare the qualifications of the "believers" and the "deniers" (how cultish is this anyway?) and you will find that the "deniers" win. Al Gore himself only got Cs and Ds in the few science courses he took in college. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&contentId=A37397-2000Mar18)

And here is a thought: I have a Ph.D. in a biological science, but I would not dare sign that list in the current liberal academic (is that redundant?) atmosphere where I find myself employed for obvious reasons.

Now you have to wonder just how many scientists know "global warming" for the utter crap it is, but are in a "heads down" situation like me, knowing the abuse abuse that we would receive from our "peers," or even funding agencies?

This must change. To wit:

On May 19th, 2008 at 8:12 am, MoGal said:

I have been waiting for the ‘real’ scientists to speak. I was trained as a physicist and chemist; I worked on NASA and EPA projects. Some cleanup of pollution was necessary; total cleanup is impossible to pay for and not needed. I do not wish to live in the stone age. Let Al Gore pay for any changes - he has the money now. Warming causes freezing? Warming caused all the disasters recently? What a crock. Carbon footprint? This is the old EPA emission pollution system renewed; polluters could buy emission credits from those who produced little or no emissions; thus polluters were granted ’sanctuary’ against penalties.

Funny how science always turns into economics under politicians.

These people make me sick. Since when does water vapor and carbon dioxide ruin the world? Now warming is not warming but change? Good grief. I will NOT accept the premise that mankind is causing global warming. What if they decide the sun is really to ‘blame’ for warming or ‘change’; will they then go after the sun and decide to change it? I saw one TV show that had a giantic umbrella over the earth to avoid too much sunlight. I thought this was a cartoon but the people on TV seemed serious.

I will NEVER accept someone’s computer model for anything. Where are these people’s brains? Any dolt can write bad code; it does not make it real or truly predictive. Journalists and Hollywood appear to believe that anything connected to the computer world must be real and accurate.

Even the weather and history channels now broadcast shows that state manmade warming as fact. The press has made this the new religion. What idiots. I do not want my grandchildren to be indoctrinated by truly BAD science by idiots who flunked science in school. Nuts. It is time the real scientists spoke up. And speak loudly.

MoGal is dead on.

Computer models are no better than the data that goes into them, and we have seen the quality of that. Garbage in, garbage out, or in this case, garbage in, gospel out.
