The proud Obamas lash back
You know what I have to say about Barack Obama calling the Tennessee GOP “low-class” and “unacceptable” on Good Morning America because of its ad answering Michelle Obama’s lack of pride in her country?
Barack, sweetie, your conversation with ABC News’s Robin Roberts insisting that your wife’s public remarks on the campaign trail be exempt from public criticism doesn’t help my children.
The proud Obamas claim they want to talk about the “issues,” rather than “distractions.” But when the candidate puts his bitter half on stage and his chief public surrogate, what comes out of her mouth is an issue.
Michelle Obama was asked about the ad on “GMA,” but her husband said, “Let me just interject on this.”
“The GOP, should I be the nominee, I think can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record,” Obama said. “I’ve been in public life for 20 years. I expect them to pore through everything that I’ve said, every utterance, every statement. And to paint it in the most undesirable light possible. That’s what they do.”
“But I do want to say this to the GOP. If they think that they’re going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful. Because that I find unacceptable,” he said.
Obama praised his wife’s patriotism and said that for Republicans “to try to distort or to play snippets of her remarks in ways that are unflattering to her I think is just low class … and especially for people who purport to be promoters of family values, who claim that they are protectors of the values and ideals and the decency of the American people to start attacking my wife in a political campaign I think is detestable.”
Obama later added, “I think that the American people also would like to see some restoration of decency to this process. And when you start attacking family members, there’s a lack of decency there.”
The only ones engaged in distraction are the Obamas when they pout about being held to account for her statements and how they reflect his own ideological underpinnings. The Macho Man act is a poor smokescreen.
If the Missus cannot take the heat, keep her away from the microphone.

No, we are apostates!
Shooter:
I don’t think you should even go there.
Look at it this way…
If the dems get the WH, we’ll get sent to the camps, located at Club Gitmo. They’re going to let all of those people go, and make that their re-education camp!
We’ll have 3 hots and a cot, a brand spanking new Koran, we’ll be in the tropics, AND we’ll be able to listen to BO and MO nonstop! What could be better that this?
/sarc off
abstractmind - that isn’t even funny!
Those two remind me of the Palestinians…he being fata and Michelle as hamas.
Obama is a dirty Stalinist, jihadist going incognito. I hope he pays off the “Praetorian Guard” well when he gets into office.
D is the only option. If McCain wins, I’ll continue to work hard, take care of my family and enjoy life. This derangement stuff is for the birds. Just keep voting and stay politically involved. Michelle Obama won’t be able to negotiate any treaties, or pass any legislation. She’s just a wife with a microphone.
Barack Obama won’t be able to get anything done without the help of Congress. If Obama gets the White House, and the Democrats take over Congress in November, it has nothing to do with Islam, or the name Hussein, Rev. Wright, or Ayers, or Black Liberation Theology. No, such an occurence would be the direct indictment of the GOP and George Walker Bush. I don’t think there is any other way to cut it.
Obama said:
What is he gonna do, assemble anti-personnel weapons armed with roofing nails and packed with dynamite, intended for a noncommissioned officers dance at Fort Dix, just like his buddy Bill Ayers?
Good for Obama for coming out swinging (figuratively, I mean. This notion of him “threatening violence” to MO’s detractors is just absurd). I’m sick of Democrats attempting to take the high road and stay above the fray when it’s crystal clear the right is willing to gleefully sink to the heretofore unknown murkiest depths of the very bottom.
No, actually. Just seems like classic, American campaining to me.
And this is just silly. I’m amazed some people on the super far right still think Obama is some sort of covert Muslim operative, but if you thrive on living in fear, enjoy.
I cannot imagine any president could or would attempt to “crush rights” with the vigor the current administration has.
M.O. reminds me of the tactics of our resident trolls …
Drop by and make some inane or asinine comment and then run for cover when the criticism comes back at her …
Sound like anyone we know around here?
It so interesting to see how the libs on this board suffer from severe tunnel vision. Arise from the chrysalis of stupidity please…
Barry Who said what.
I care not what he thinks about what Tennesseans said about what his wife said.
Another pity me party from the ever offended.
If Mrs Obama and her husband do not want to be criticized, then do not say stupid things.
I may never have been, so proud, of the Tennessee GOP, as I am now, as a result of that ad.
Way to go Volunteers!!!!

Quite contrar. He is not defending her at all. Instead he is saying nobody can bring her quotes up in the campaign. He is saying she is off limits. If he were defending her he would be agreeing with her and explaining to us just how virtuous her words were.
If Obama gets in you will see more of that than you ever wanted. All in the name of “political correctness” of course. As for wives being “off limits”, the left broke that rule a LONG time ago. After 8 years of attacks on mrs bush (don’t make me quote them) the liberals have no leg to stand on here.
So you are saying it is just an anti-bush vote, and Obama has nothing to offer except not being Bush? Is that right?
Bush is still in office?
How could he still be in office shredding the constitution after the 2006 Democrat Tsunami?
Me thinks the dems in congress may be in bed with our president more than their public outcry suggests.
He swings like a girl
The right? So far is Dem on Dem!
I can’t either. That why you must say no to a president Obama.
This is all well and fine, but the fact that they create the distraction themselves is the real issue. Every single thing he, his wife, his campaign, his frieds does, says or thinks he, immidiately afterwards, considers to be a “distraction from the issues”. This is similar to some drunk getting into a car wreck, then blaming the victim for going to the police.
To listen to him on GMA, he is sounding as mature as the College Know-it-All Liberals, who do nothing but whine and complain about the evil Republicans and their “Dick Dastardly”-esque evil doings.
Seriously…is this the type of human that the Left wants to lead the country? Does he think this sort of whiney, cry-baby rhettoric of his is going to play against the likes of Syria, Palestine, Iran and China?
He is beginning to remind me of the little momma’s boy punk on the school ground, that would go about, egging people on and pushing their buttons until finally they could no longer take it, poke him in the nose and he goes running to the principal’s office, claiming to be a “victim” of all the mean ol bullies on the playground, who would not have normally even noticed the little punk.
Obama’s suit is not the only thing that is empty. His head seems to be vacant too!
He sends his wife out to campaign for him and then expects her harmful statements to be ignored.
Some stugots!
Moron, I’d say it has everything to do with the current tone of the Democrat party. And Bush is history btw…

Hogwash!
O need not worry. Mc895 should not have any problem capitulating with O dictates after all Mc895 seems to favor following rather than leading. Just another part of Mc895 victory strategy without conflict.
No — although it is an irresistible bonus!
I feel you. Obama will have to get downndirty, unlike Mr. above-it-all John Kerry. I know you, like me, are tired of Democratic candidates lacking toughness. The only fighter we’ve had since LBJ is probably William Jefferson Clinton. Barack is going to have to be ready for the fight of his life. Have a good week Nyk.
Words cannot express the disgust I feel when B.Hussein or his spouse use the word ‘decency’. I can visualize the word coming out of their mouths, streaked with filth, and flapping on the table like a dying fish.
Ret Fireman: you are exactly right when you say
This is obfuscation at its finest.
There must be a liberal democrat class somewhere, obfuscation 101, where this is taught.
Every liberal politician masters this skill early and uses it often.
This is one thing that is going to hurt the democrats in november, they are running against President Bush and not against McCain. They say they don’t want a 3rd Bush term, well that is ensured because BUSH ISN’T RUNNING. No matter who wins bush will not be president in 2009. All McCain has to do is show he isn’t bush. Thats not that hard and the DNC will have wasted masses of money and time.
You hit the nail on the head mistress
justiceVigilante. Congratulations! We are all tired of them lacking down there. To my fellow conservatives, I suggest looking up the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley. Just read it. That assure you that your on the right track. See ya………….
None of this is helping their kids.
Well, it seems every time Obama talks about the issues, I mean real issues not the ones he and his wife dredge up to make it seem as if they know what they are talking about - he ends up with his foot in his mouth. The man hasn’t a clue. His family isn’t doing him any favors. Wright was PR nightmare, his bitter half (loving it!) is just as worse. Not to mention the tripe that continues to spew from Obama’s own mouth… “Iran is not a threat”… who does he think he is kidding? Oh that’s right… all of his supporters - that’s who.
Oops, ’should assure you”, sorry.
The fact that Obama has a great deal of charisma, and is able to motivate the youth is a huge plus. Frankly, he does have baggage, and is lacking some experience. But, I think he’s absolutely in the right place at the right time. This currently presidency has been a disaster, and the 28% approval rating means plenty of conservative agree. Even many conservative experts agree that the presidency is there for the democrats to take….if we don’t screw it up.
The fact that McCain is taking on much of Bush’s platform, make’s the Bush debacle completely relevant in this election, and stains McCain. Going green won’t be enough, to wash the Bush stank off of him.
Obama is at the right place at the right time, and if the Dems don’t take over in November, we don’t deserve it.
Barack Obama is the latest version of Jimmy Carter with his naive views of Iran, etc. “Appeasement” is an understatement, it would appear, regarding what we have to look forward to with a possible Obama presidency. *shiver*
The idea that the Dems don’t “fight dirty” is absolutely ridiculous. They have no problem going after a candidate’s intelligence and age, his service to his country (cue Tom Harkin), his background, his family…not to mention the class warfare, the race-baiting, and politicizing the war and denigrating our troops. The notion they are above that, and don’t do that, is just laughable.

The Obamas don’t put their feet in their mouths …
They just open their mounths and change feet …
As imam Wright would say…Barack hu akbar!
I think mistress just-ice want the Obama vote because she wants more entitlement money. Lol. Nyk wants Obama because her dad is a CEO or something and is quietly “rebelling”. Lol. Such a joke,
Not to mention The Democrat controlled Congress has a 14% approval rating.
MO has the keys to the ‘testicle box’, not Obama or Hillary.
Poetry is something I am just beginning to pursue.
I have been reading a bit, when time has permitted, a little such as this from Rumi.
Rumi,I love that name, was a persian poet from the 1200’s, This is just an excerpt.
While the entire poem carries a theme of Reincarnation. This take away is a good start.
If right_on #26 is right we need to examine her words and what she says even more. With a belief system like that we do not need these two in the whitehouse. Sonofdy #63, that would make Hussein Obama a Shia. They have the saints and the Sunnis don’t. Thanks for pointing that out.
Michelle Obama:
I agree. I can’t think of another election in the recent past, that had as much spark to it. People are coming out in record numbers to vote and to donate to their respected campaigns. What’s wrong in saying she is proud of her country now? For Example, Were you proud of such things such as the Jim Crow Laws?
If Patriotism is judged on a Flag pin, then we surely are in decay. Patriotism is standing up when you know your country is better than what is occurring right now. She shouldn’t be bashed for saying that because it shows one thing; she surely is honest. No one on this blog or anywhere can say with full conviction our country is on the right path and the decisions made on our behalf actually positively impacted our lives.
Like a famous journalist named Michelle Malkin once said,
The Democratic Party is winning in all these virtues. The GOP needs to start beefing up their candidate and stop trying to take down Obama. It won’t work this time, there is no risky business going on like in the 90’s. No swift boat nothing.
examine MO not right_on
They don’t poll conservatives.
The problem with the vague “on the wrong path” argument is that it depends on the path the speaker intends to take us down from this point.
A liberal and I can both agree we are on the wrong path and say let’s go fix this and each take 3 steps and turn to find we are now 6 steps apart.
The path argument is useless without defining the path to take from here. If your path leads to more liberalism.
NO THANK YOU.
The path argument is basically a push-poll.
It starts with an easy to agree on point and then it attempts to lead you to their end definition.
The only entity less popular than bush is congress. DEMOCRATIC congress.
No one on this blog or anywhere can say with full conviction our country is on the Right path…
I agree…
An excellent point. The longer one observes the Obamas, the more one must conclude that it’s the missus who wears the pants. It was Michelle Obama who, if I’m not mistaken, introduced Barack Obama to the poisonous ministrations of Jeremiah Wright; and if it’s hard to imagine Wright’s 20 years of anti-social sermonizing having no effect on Obama’s world view, then how about his wife’s?
Barack Obama is cocktail of ambition mixed with a weak character, making him eager for power but not very judicious about who he surrounds himself with and unable to control them. Even if he wanted to tell his wife to sit in the back seat and be quiet, he wouldn’t have the strength of personality to say it: for not only does his wife possess the stronger force of character, but his party’s politics demand that she be his “equal.”
But that microphone makes all the difference in the world between Michelle Obama’s revolting commentary being “just her opinion” and “part of the campaign” for the next co-presidency. Cynthia McCain grasps that distinction, which is why you don’t read or hear about her.
All Michelle Obama would have to do to avoid making herself into an issue is to get enough of a grip on her ego, and a sense of equilibrium about life, to shut her mouth.
But that’s too much to ask, just like it was too much to ask of Teresa (“teh-RAY-za”) Heinz back in 2004 when she helped sink her husband’s campaign by repeatedly firing off verbal torpedoes that ran in circles.
Simple question for the Obama’s.
If Michelle Obama is to be off limits, what was she doing on GOOD MORNING AMERICA?
Pretty simple even for libtards.

Nice pun.
Now define your position and I might agree or not.
It is your answer as to how to get the country back on the “right” path” that determines the validity of your argument.
Regulus:
My most favorite Cynthia McCain quote,
I’ll agree with your take on McCain and Obama. There’s alot of mud to be thrown around the room with those two.
However…I do not agree, to some degree, with the idea that somehow Obama deserves it. I have a great deal of charisma in person, and can motivate youth (and do so regularly). That doesnt give me the qualities of a leader. It doesn’t give me the testicular fortitude to make tough decisions in a pinch. It doesnt give me the ability to take the reigns and lead things in a direction that benefits everyone and takes into account that not everything is sunshine and puppies, as liberal ideology would have them to be. Doing so takes principles. It takes a willingness to make sacrifices, to make unpopular decisions, and to walk a path consistantly and one that can withstand scrutiny and rebuke. Not to be above reproach, but to be able to pull through situations and said scrutiny, and not looking like a liar or a cheat. Honor in all dealings, above all else.
These candidates don’t have a shred of what it takes, by my book. Granted, my opinion. But I can’t see following someone who does NOT, in any way, garner any form of respect.
I don’t honestly believe that Obama has the C.O. Jones to stand up to our enemies. He’ll capitulate, as he’s already spoken about publicly. He will allow illegals to run amok. I am sure that if he’s elected, that we will certainly be attacked again. I am not willing to live with that quietly.
Make no mistake..McAmnesty doesn’t deserve it either. And i wont vote for him regardless.
but lets put into perspective that it takes more than just a flashy smile and some good PR people to make a *strong* leader.

I actually viewed his “swinging” as a ham-handed avoidance of answering why he authorizes Michelle to tell young Americans, “Don’t Go Into Corporate America,” or why he authorizes Michelle to tell his supporters that his candidacy is “the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country,” or why he authorizes Michelle to tell his supporters that America is “just downright mean,” and that “it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”
Honestly, I don’t know what Barack means when he warns the GOP to “be careful.” I do know that it sounds pathetic coming from a man who obviously sends his wife out to say the things that he doesn’t want to have to answer for.
Chuckle! Don’t bother working yourself into a lather over a false notion. The right has a LONG way to go before they “sink to the heretofore unknown murkiest depths of the very bottom.” LOL! Trust me, the left have established that, indeed, some things do sink lower than whale poop:
1. “Hitler’s dog” - Bill Maher describing First Lady Laura Bush on 9/23/05.
2. “The Silver Douche bag” - George Carlin describing former First Lady Barbara Bush on 9/9/05.
3. “The moron doesn’t fall too far from the tree” - Bill Maher describing former First Lady Barbara Bush on 9/9/05.
4. “Like her evil husband, she has lived far too long. Here’s hoping the hag suffers for several weeks, then croaks in the tub.” - The Huffington Post, concerning Nancy Reagan on 2/17/08.
5. “I feel no pity for the bitch who took delight in watching thousands die of a horrible disease and watching the poor having to eat out of dumpsters because of her husband’s political beliefs.” - The Huffington Post, concerning Nancy Reagan on 2/17/08.
Democratic candidates are softer than twinkie filling when it comes to fighting for the White House. Do these names invoke the image of a fighter: Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Kerry….
Kerry didn’t get any fight in him until three years later when he attacked that swiftboating candidate for ambassador, and had his infamous “botched” joke. Too little too late, pahthah.
Gore, like Kerry was so impressed by the fact that he was SOOOOO much smarty the G.W.B, that he didn’t feel like he needed to exert much effort to fight and win. I’m no fan of the Clintons, but they know how to fight like the Moral Majority/Karl Rove/Swiftboating republicans. The jury is still out on Obama’s nasty streak, and sac to fight.
It’s not that she said she was proud of her country now…its the fact it was the FIRST time she was proud. She’s a wealthy, successful, Ivy League-educated wife of a US Senator and Presidential candidate…yet she could find nothing to be proud of up to now? What about the opportunies given to her by this country that allowed her to pursue such an education, to be successful? Nobody is suggesting she ought to be proud of Jim Crow laws…but there is certainly a ton to be proud of, and its sad she can’t see it.
All of this discussing about Barry’s charisma is a Red Herring.
Vote for him because he is charismatic, is to completely take the discussion away from his associations, his policies, his so-far unrevealed specifics about where he is going ot take this country and who he will surround himself with in office.
If his cabinet will look even remotely like those he has thus far in his life CHOSE to surround himself with.
NO THANK YOU.
#90
As suboptimal as McCain is, he can at least veto a Congress that will run amuck.
His veto means nothing if we do not have enough Republican Senators to back it up.
Hitler was charismatic. He was a great speaker. As was lenin and mao. In fact they were so good nobody really looked closely at they were saying till it was too late. Thata why I don’t buy the whole idea that great speakers make great leaders. No I am not comparing obama to them, just pointing out that a good speach its just that, a good speach. Nothing more.
Of course those names don’t invoke the image of a fighter…but that doesn’t mean they don’t involve themselves in political mudslinging. All candidates try to act like they’re above the fray…the fact is, they and the campaigns behind them drag out everything they can muster against their opponent. For example, that MS House race from last week…the DEMOCRAT mailer that went out accusing the GOP candidate of being in bed with the KKK. Completely false…yet that didn’t stop them from doing it.
The Democrat Harry Truman said, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.” The Whiner Family is pathetic. Osama Obama says he doesn’t like attacks on his family but he threw his beloved Granny Cracker under the bus to defend his racist pastor. What a hypocrite!
I believe these 10 executive orders Obama wishes to behest if elected would be to the America’s detriment. I believe these 10 executive orders would not put the country on the correct path:
Quotes from BarrackObama.com
• Obama enacts stronger “federal hate crimes legislation” to “reinvigorate enforcement at the Department of Justice’s Criminal Section.”
• Obama creates “a fund to help people refinance their mortgages and provide comprehensive supports to innocent homeowners.”
• Obama, following through on his pledge to “meet with the leaders of all nations, friend and foe,” signs a non-agression pact with the Hitler of Iran.
• Obama doubles foreign aid to $50 billion to cut “poverty around the world in half by 2015.”
• Obama removes our troops from Iraq, leaving a power vacuum filled by Iran.
• Obama enacts socialized medicine, destroying small businesses with taxes to pay for illegal alien healthcare.
• Obama enacts amnesty for illegal aliens.
• Obama enacts legislation demanding carbon friendly cars, hammering the final nail in the coffin of the US car industry.
• Barack Obama enact laws to reinforce affirmative action by funneling money to “women and minority-owned businesses.” (mistress just-ice is salavating)
• Obama repeals the Bush tax cuts.
• Obama enacts the Employment Non-Discrimination Act to entrench the power of the homosexual lobby.

Perpetual outrage is the hew and cry of:
A) Islam
B) The Democrat Party
C) Too close to call
D) Candidates with something to hide
That’s a joke, right? Ever listen to Chuck Schumer, Chris Dodd, Howard Dean, John Edwards, Terry McCauliff, Hillary Clinton, Al Sharpton, James Carville, to name a few? Or how about the the fanatical demonization of Ronald Reagan, Robert Bork, Newt Gingrich for some older examples? The Democrats are brawlers and from what I have observed the past 30 years always prefer a good mudfight to a real debate of the issues. Any civil discussion of realistic budget proposals or national priorites have always been cut-off by Democrat carictatures of their opponents as mean, cold-hearted racists that want to give tax cuts to the rich at the expense of starving school children.
White family members need not apply. The uniter! What a load of crock…
The sad notion that there is even a republican attack machine is laughable.
The republicans are so ineffectual at this part of the campaign process it is funny.
The Democrats are so far advanced on this issue and how to frame and expand their attacks.
They have and use a willing media as well as a larger and more effective internet presense/response to both attacks and dissemination of those attacks and rebuttals to the republicans feeble attempts.
We here should be part of the attack machine but are so far too few and seemingly unorganized.
Correction, Obamas plan for iraq allows for a smaller number of us troops to remain there indefinately to conduct anti-terrorism raids etc. Essentualy what this means is that the troops left there will be isolated and in place to be destroyed in detail. If I were an enemy commander, I would love obamas plan for iraq.

How did I do that? 2 posts with one button push. I’m magic!!!!
Especially when the Democrats are the home of KKK historically.
If Michelle Obama thinks she can get on the pulpit, shoot off her mouth and not be held responsible, better think again. And sweetie, with your panties in a knot Obama, what are you going to do, hide in a corner when others exercise their free speech and critize you, your wife and your country.
Carville is right:
you forgot the 850 billion he wants to give the UN. I think he will also offer the racist bigoted bibleand gun clinging democrats amnesty if they’ll vote for him.
undrseige247:
I like that, see how easy that was.
You sir, I hope I got that right, get it.
We cannot let ourselves be drawn to simply arguing over pull quotes. To win an argument with the left we must stay focused on the fine points of policy and stop allowing them to change the subject when they lose on point after point.
I appreciate your list, and will study each point.
Mark
Suck it up, Obama; you’re playing with the big kids now. If you don’t want your wife to be an issue, tell her to put a sock in it.
Obama says:
Michelle Obama says commenting on Robert Novak’s assertion that she said “absolutely not” regarding HRC as a VP choice”
Priceless!
undrsiege…
well put, and excellent post! kudos!
Abstractmind:
Good post. I don’t necessarily mean that Obama deserves it. I just believe he’s in the right place and time, because he’s the only democrat left standing. Nobody will be able to convince me that Ayer’s and Wright amount to much in the way of SCANDALS….we’ve seen some scandals in politics. The Rev. Wright situation shows questionable judgement, but hell, he’s just a pastor, and was chosen for political reason IMHO(had to make connections in Chi-town). The Ayers connection is absolutely lacking and meaningless. IMO.
Obama has a skeletal resume on some of the characteristics you mention. I do believe it took guts as a politician running for office in ILL to openly oppose the war. On issues like healthcare, he had the judgement to deviate from the purity of the Edwards/Hillary plan. I do think it take’s guts to stand on a stage and say you will TALK to your foreign enemies, knowing the firestorm that will come, and how TALK will be twisted into “appeasement” and “negotiate”. I’ve read accounts on his ability to go across the aisle in the Illinois legislature to get legislation passed, and some of the Republicans there thought highly of him.
Obama is the sole Democrat left standing, and since politics is a machine, I think the Democratic Machine is positioned nicely to take over due to the state of things. The democratic congress has been a failure, but they can’t get their policies past Bush. When the team sux, who gets the blame? The coach(GOPBUSH). Who gets canned? GOPBUSH. McCain is continuing Bush’s economic policies, foreign policy policies, and his only healthcare plan is a tax credit. McCain is Bush with environmentalist leanings.
If Barack’s problems with Rev. Wright hit in February, he likely wouldn’t be here, based on the polls I’ve seen, but then Edwards or Hillary would be the representative of the Democratic Machine. But, Obama is here, and I don’t think his so-called “scandals” will matter much when the issues are debated, and Obama comes in as the new coach and g.m. of America. We’ll see.
Har! Itchy trigger finger….
Barack you sure have big ears! Oooops am I allowed to say that?
Any decent person knows that what their partner believes has a great deal of sway to them as well. At least any decent family person. It seems BarryO wants it both ways for himself though - he claims he is the respectable decent family man, yet at the same time, he wants you to ignore his wife. Nice one Barry, how many other bodily orifices can you speak out of?
Wow, 174 posts already! It seems everyone was ready for this one. Senator and Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama do like to dish it out but whine like whippped puppies when it comes back on them. If Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama wants to spout off policy and political issues she should be ready to take the flack. But being part and parcel of the Black Grievance Industry they do not do flack well. That and being Radical/Leftist/Liberals whinning is their one strenght. She is a $300,000 a year lawyer who can’t make ends meet. Yea, right.
But I suppose if Mrs. Barack Hussein Obama becomes too big a liability the Magic Negro can throw her under the bus too. Senator Barack Hussein Obama seems to be good at bus throwing. And under mohammadan law he gets a bunch of wives anyway.
In related bad news, Kennedy lives.
And you as well, good post. I see where you’re coming from, and I dont disagree fundamentally with what you’re saying. You are correct about his resume, his stances on things, and yes it took some b@lls to do that in Illinois. I also do agree that the GOP are going to get slammed this time around. And i believe its a case of them doing it to themselves (immigration, handling of the war, etc).
Undrsiege though posted Obama’s talking points. I’m not comfortable with those.
Likewise, I dont think talking to your enemies is a bad thing. I know people are going to spin that, but…its one thing to talk to your enemies. It’s another to break bread with them. It’s what he’s going to say to them I don’t agree with. I think we should have been talking to them all along. Keep your enemies closer, after all. I just get the overwhelming impression he’s going to just roll over and let them do whatever…which is fine by him. Until when? another 9/11? Another USS Cole? What’s the breaking point?
the only other thing i would take to task is while he was voting in illinois…his attendance and actual voting while in DC has been abysmal at best. When he’s actually there to vote that is…
Obama is an ass.
Can you say bullsh*t 20 times real fast?
Hey Barack,
Kind of oronic that a Chicago-style politician like yourself would accuse Republicans of “indecency”. As if you haven’t been guilty of the same.
If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Undersiege you are right again.
Taking what mj says either points out barry o’s lack of character by being someone who simply glomed onto wright for political expediecny.
Or he agreed with everything wright said. My Position.
Which points out just how dangerous HE IS for this country.
sambo says:
I know what a crime it is to relieve global poverty. Also, the 850 billion is over a 13 year period and is based on .7 percent of our GNP. Lets not forget we did sign on to something called the United Nations Millennium Declaration. Which is seperate from the Senate Bill.
I rather help people who don’t have, instead of people that are just lazy(welfare reform)
The GOP isn’t “taking down Obama”. He and his cronies are doing that job quite well all on their own, without the GOP’s help.
I see what Barry is doing..
he is getting his wife to talk about every issue he can get.. then when any criticism comes his way, no matter what, he’ll say that the critics are going after his wife, and that it is a distraction..
mj, I disagree. Politics is a dirty business and, unfortunately, most people aren’t junkies and don’t have time or inclination to follow the issues closely. Campaigns put huge resources on attack ads with sound bites because the research shows they are effective. Rev. Wright is far bigger than John Kerry’s service record and will be a major factor with independent voters. Along with a number of “missatements” by BO his wife and Bill Ayers can easily be made into one. I wish it were otherwise but this is the Republicans best hope.
Obama has proven remarkably inept in handling criticism, whether you agree with him or not. He could have put the Rev. Wright imbroglio to rest quickly enough by saying, “Yeah, I knew what he said during the last 20 years. But it had about the same effect on me as the off-the-wall prattle of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson has had on Republican standardbearers.” Likewise, when Eleanor Roosevelt said anything controversial, FDR would brush it off by saying in effect that this is Eleanor being Eleanor.
Since Obama and his handlers have serious problems dealing with the heat, they don’t belong in the kitchen.
Can Obama save Burma?
The New Obama Weenie:
Dark Bun on left
Typical White bun on right
No meat, no nothing
Bitter cheese
37 Waffle Fries
Drink:Red Whine and sweetie tea
Side order: “pot, or booze; maybe a little blow ”
Attire: Chamberlain-style DinnerJacket
Maybe a little present vote after the meal
Part of the GOP’s job is to point out the weakness of their oppponent.
I realize they are sometimes so hapless at it that one could misconstrue their real job description.
Democrats don’t and won’t fight dirty???? Just what the Hell do you call what they have been doing against the Bush White House for the last 7.5 years??? You call that fair and clean politics? No wonder you think that what they do is not dirty.
I wonder what you base your comparisons on? Telling the truth, such as calling Kerry on his B.S.? Or making up lies such as the infamous letter stating Bush was AWOL?
You need to get rid of the fun house mirror sport…it is warping you more than you think.
We have to prevent this man from winning in November, even if it means sucking it up and voting for McShamnesty.
