I’m late getting on, for there’s a lot of threads to read. Both of my Senators signed the letter as did I, and Chambliss is running for re-eclection, so he definitly has my vote.

Don’t do that. Vote for Pastor Chuck Baldwin of the Constituion party. I know many here support the Libertarian party but I read an article yesterday where Bob Barr is starting to waiver on the no amensty or mass immigration issue to appease the hardcore libertarians. Baldwin will NEVER waiver. At least use your vote to sway changes on the 2 party system.

The “other” republican Senators are hoping the provision stays under the radar and away from the public. That way they can vote for it without consequence. Most of the “others” support amnesty but know it is the kiss of death to openly support it without cover. Should tell them something, but doesn’t. Just another special interest group they can pander to for re-election.

Look where we are today. The people who supposedly represent us HIDING crucial information. Our country is sunk, going the way of Rome, if we don’t institute changes to the legislature and throw out the career politicians.

Vitter joined U.S Sens. Jeff Sessions, Charles Grassley, Tom Coburn, Johnny Isakson, Saxby Chambliss, James Inhofe, John Barrasso, Elizabeth Dole and Jim Bunning on the letter.

Thanks for passing that on. That leads to my question of why Jim DeMint didn’t sign it. I thought he was reliable on this issue. Makes me wonder what he is objecting to. He isn’t my senator so I don’t think I would get a response if I asked his office directly. Does anyone have any insight?

I also signed, and yes, if it means a little extra spam in my email box, so be it. I’m stuck with Senator Switchback Brownback – so there’s not point in contacting him.

I can’t express my disgust for Washington that they continue to pound the amnesty drum even though they’ve been given a clear message from the people they represent. Every one of them (save these 10) should be recalled from representation since they don’t seem to know what the word means.

I have signed and forwarded to family and friends. I will keep pounding on my only reliable Senator with the other “wide stance” considered as a bad joke and embarrassment to the taxpayers of Idaho. With only 10 Senators willing to step up to the plate it doesn’t look to good for the home team. Sounds like it is time to fire up the torches and sharpen the pitchforks again. These people in DC just don’t seem to get it that an overwhelming majority of legal Americans don’t want amnesty for law breaking illegal invaders.
