Yesterday, I thought this story was funny, and commented accordingly on HA. Today, it just makes me seeth. I am a very small person, eat one main meal a day and a couple of snacks, with lots of meat, fresh vegetables and vegetables. I want the MSM to ask this moron how much food is going to be alotted to each individual in his grand plan? As far as the people from India wanting us to cut 1000 calories from our diets – ever notice how many become overweight/obese once they get here?

We have people every year die in severely hot areas in our country from not being able to afford to turn on their air-conditioning. Every hard storm we suffer the loss of people unable to turn on their furnaces. Barry, how many casualties in the U.S. do you consider acceptable to appease your global friends?

I no longer take casual trips to the mall or anywhere else. If I choose to drive a moped or a bus to do so is not the gubmint’s business. ;(

I thought I was born and living in the freedom that is the U.S.. I guess that is history now. But, I’ll be danged if I will settle for some gov’t telling me what I will eat and when. I will also not settle for a gov’t telling me exactly how to live my life, according to the P.C. of the day, based on some wild theory derived from some flawed computer models, for the sake of their power greed, or some environmentalist group bent on control. I won’t live under the old Soviet model.

I had a teacher in college from India, he made the mistake of arguing statistics with a bunch of intelligent midwesterners.

“Look at the horrors of global warming!”
Me: “Sir, I’ve an entire iced over campus that would like to disagree with your theory of global warming.”

“The US uses 25% of the world’s energy, and produces 19% of the world’s polutants. India uses 13% of the world’s energy and produces 13% of the world’s polutants. WHAT DOES THIS TELL YOU?”
Me: “That if you gave the US all the world’s resources we’d cut polution by 12% If we gave all the energy to India, polution would increase and we’d be living in squalor.”

He couldn’t understand why we were laughing at him.

During the gas crunch of the 70′s, we tried to live by smilley’s suggestion, and cut back on energy consumption. We were sick all winter, and our electrical rates went up, because the power company had less money coming in, so we actually spent more money on energy.I don’t want another polition yelling me how to live my life, especially when the American people are paying his power bills, gas bills, and food bills. Stay out of my personal life, obummer.

Obamas liberal sheep can come take that cheeseburger out of my hands, of course they need to get by my buddy Sig Sauer who is in the other hand. I don’t think they’ll get it though.
