Although I am a green and conservationist, so many democrats/liberals are lacking in class and respect for our country’s ideals I can’t stand them or their forums.

What is McCain’s core base obviously he doesn’t want conservatives.

My guess is a combination of veterans, Reagan Democrats, and Schwarzenegger Republicans. McCain didn’t need conservatives to win the nomination and probably isn’t comfortable interacting with them so he thinks he doesn’t need them for victory.

And it is not playing the “victim” to question McCain’s strategy of reaching out to HuffPo bloggers before reaching out to more than just a few conservative and right-of-center blogs.

I griped at the notion that McCain’s team was cherry-picking webloggers who are only nice to the Senator. If that were the case I wouldn’t be invited to any calls. I’m no cheerleader. In fact I’m more anti-Obama than pro-McCain and am ticked McCain has failed to reach out to conservatives. His CPAC speech was lip service.

but of course the difference is that the conservative blogs didn’t start screaming victim.

Actually, there was outcry — not unlike, say, an open letter to Democratic party leaders — from conservatives who felt they’d been omitted. Including on this very blog.

It’s not weird or “crybaby”-ish that Michelle or any other political blogger — particularly those at the grassroots level — would want to be included in the actual process. They dedicate countless hours of their time to distilling all the noise down for us, on both sides. It says a lot about the image-projection desires of party leaders that they’d be willing to marginalize those who’ve done so much to inspire passion and keep us all in the loop. The DNCC is playing a typical game and I fully understand these bloggers’ frustrations.
