More on our good friend in the KansasCity.Com Obama’s remarks get car dealer fired up,

“Every American should carry a gun for their own safety,” he said. “We all carry guns here (at the dealership). “We’re all God-fearing, gun-toting Americans.”

And may I say I too wish all my fellow citizens would get some training and carry a gun, discreetly as it were. Keep the bad guys guessing and irritate the hell out of Liberals. Yes I know there are two Liberals who claim to defend the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. One actually does carry but the other one is lying.

Since retiring after forty-one years in law enforcement, I don’t trust the government or the police to protect me and my wife. We have six firearms (two of which the government has records of for the eventual purpose of confiscation) and a 12 guage shotgun. Since scumbags like to rob and kill helpless old folks, I practice twice monthly with 200 rounds each time with each handgun. Doesn’t take practice to rack a shotgun.

I guess TOS’s cut and paste from the left wing propaganda machine doesn’t take into account reality. Which is why the 80 million responsible gun owners who own 280 million legal firearms scare the piss out of him.

P.S. I’ve owned my .45 for 8 years since I turned 21 and could buy it from the base PX. In those 8 years I have only once had to pull the gun out and point it at someone while loaded, and it happened during a home invasion/robbery attempt while I was home.

I too own a Ruger GP100 in .357. One of the sweetest wheel guns I’ve ever shot. Dead on accurate, and feels good in the hand. My baby is a stainless Colt Gold Cup in .45ACP. Shoots like a dream, and is my primary defense gun. Also have a Ruger P90DC in .45ACP – adequate, may sell to brother. Beretta 92FS – good functional gun, accurate, and fun to shoot.
