The gaffes just keep on coming. Via Jim Hoft and Power Line comes the latest in a long line of Obama-isms which, as I noted last week, will get a pass from the MSM:
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

In one of his more egregious and easily demonstrated lies, made even more so by the day he decided to let it loose on, Obama has rewritten WWII history such that the allies liberated Auschwitz.
…Obama also spoke about his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz…
Auschwitz of course is in Poland. It was liberated by the Red Army on Jan 27 1945. Poland, on most maps is usually placed to the east of Germany, although we may need to investigate the geography textbooks the Messiah used as a child…

He seems to be a rather erratic extemporaneous speaker, but that’s not a crime.
This particular gaffe, however, does allow another peek into his integrity. Does he believe what he says? Either he’s knowingly lying, or deluded, which from a troll’s POV makes him no better than Bush. Same issue as Clinton’s Tuzla remarks and the MSM will ignore this as long as they can, but I don’t think this one is going away either.

Would it be a stretch to say Obamites and the MSM are poorly informed even though many are of the educated elite and might have attended food throwing techniques rather than history class. Another understanding bridge used by the SubCulture is Obama was quoted out of context. Context being in the eye of the beholder. It’s all good for the Obamites for it is not the truth that matters but the sound of a truth than could have been. We have much to look forward to with such a man as our leader to inspire us to what we have been.

Is it me, or was that speech the most uninspired, flat, and unemotional piece of tripe? For such a mesmerizing orator, he could of phoned that one in. It sounded to me like he’s just wanting to get the darn thing over and get out of there.

They could care less with his ties to terrorists, an America bashing preacher, or how many gaffes he makes, they just want to get Bush and Hillerhead out of the picture. I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Like the foment/ferment gaffe. Upon looking up use and definitions ferment was nearly “close enough” to what he meant. So I looked into the
gaffe, and tried to work it out in my mind. All I can figure is he looked out at the audience and saw several vets in wheelchairs and considered them “fallen heroes”.
As I’m very far from the military life and jargon of heroism, I googled the use of the phrase “fallen heroes”. Could it ever mean those who lost a limb? Maybe, but 20 times out of 20 I found it meant those who died in battle, or in some kind of service.
So in all fairness I must conclude that like me Obama is so far from things military he doesn’t know the use and meaning of the phrase “fallen heroes”, thinking it refers to those injured as well. That may be even more of an indictment against him than the thought he just made a “gaffe”. That his color problem is not that he’s black but that he’s so green.
This kind of reminds me of that old riddle…

The only direct quote that shows a gaffe by SNOBamessiah regarding liberating WWII concentration camps was in his speech on 2002 against the Iraq War….

He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka. He fought in the name of a larger freedom, part of that arsenal of democracy that triumphed over evil, and he did not fight in vain.”
Again…..history teaches us that The Red Army liberated both Auschwitz and Treblinka! This is a HUGE gaffe, especially considering SNOBamessiah uses this speech as his claim to being so smart regarding international affairs!

Just a couple more gaffes from his speech at Weslyan University (not, as he called it “Wellsleyan”) (from the womans college in Massachusetts.
And his encouragement of the young skulls full of mush to eschew “the money culture” (It seems Obama has already got his) and work in “collectivist” endevours. Kudos to my other girlfriend Laura Ingraham for those obamanations.

I’ve given this some thought and have now decided we are being too harsh on Obama. After all the following are indisputably true:
1. Obama had an uncle
2. Patton had an army
3. Auschwitz was liberated by an army
So he really got most of the story right, which for a liberal is pretty good. In contrast, Clinton would have claimed she and Bill personally headed the army that liberated all of Europe from the the dark clutches of the Republicans, and would have received a standing ovation for revealing this astonishing, little known tidbit.
Can you imagine the outcry and ridicule had President Bush made these comments?
Uncle or Grandfather - what difference would it make? Did his Grandfather serve in the Red Army?
As to the ‘fallen’ who he sees many of in the audience. This is a scripted speech, that he had to look at every two seconds. He’s not speaking off the cuff.
And let’s not forget how and when his parents met.
What is it about Dems and making up stories about their past. B. Hussein with his parents meeting, Hillary claiming to be named after Sir Edmund Hillary even though his famous climb didn’t happen unti years after she was born. Tuzla… well, we could write for hours on Hillary’s lies.
And let’s not forget Gore either, inventing the internet and having ‘Love Story’ written about he and Tipper. LOL

It appears to me that Obama told this “uncle in the attic” story on Memorial Day in attempts to tie President Bush to the notion of a lack of funding for Veterans issues.
Regardless, Obama now needs to clear up the details of his story:
1. Did his maternal grandfather, paternal grandfather or his uncle help liberate a concentration camp during WW II?
2. Which concentration camp was it? Because it wasn’t Auschwitz.
3. If his uncle didn’t help liberate Auschwitz, why did he say he did, and then why did this same uncle spend six months in an attic if he wasn’t near the horror of Auschwitz?
4. Why was he campaigning on Memorial Day, complete with an Obama dot com banner on his podium?
5. Why was he trying to score political points on Memorial Day?

I used to consider Mr. Hopenchange to be a prime example of what Reagan called, “High-IQ dimwits.” But I’m coming to question the “High-IQ” part. Having been through law school, I seriously have to question how this guy made it through Harvard Law. The stink of Affirmative Action/racial quotas/race-based favoritism in that regard is becoming overpowering.
Back in the 9th grade, one of the two blacks in my middle school ran for student body president and won in a landslide — despite repeatedly proving beforehand that he had the intellectual candlepower of a black hole. It was pure popularity-contest election by acclamation, what you’d expect of a bunch of 14-15 year olds.
And yet today, the donkeys want to do the same thing — only with the US presidency. In support of the proposition that liberals are afflicted with a malign form of Arrested Adolescence, I offer their brain-dead worship of Hopenchange as Exhibit “A” and rest my case. Q.E.D.
How has it come to pass that Dan Quayle (elected to Congress in 1976, re-elected in 1978, elected to Senate in 1980, re-elected in 1986) was questioned about his “lack of experience” for the vice presidency, while Hopenchange (less than one term in the Senate) isn’t questioned about his lack of qualification for the #1 spot?
How is it that Quayle’s mis-spelling of “potato” made him an idiot, while Hopenchange’s confusion of the number of states in the Union with a steak sauce made by Heinz doesn’t?
Isn’t it ironic that an “inexperienced idiot” like Quayle would seem positively Churchillian in seasoning and qualifications if he were to run against The New Messiah today?

Oh come one, give Obama a break. When he’s giving a speech about being patriotic and honoring fallen American soldiers for their ultimate sacrifice to this great nation, remember that every single word of it is a lie. That’s a tough speech to give. There’s bound to be a screw-up here and there. The small lie interjected? He’s proven he can handle that. But an entirely contrived speech, where he’s forced to say the opposite of what he really feels over and over? Yup, that’s a tough one to deliver with the usual Obama panache.
Maybe he thinks there are more than 50+ States…
I wonder if the former Iraqi Minister of Information is on his speach writing team.
What is wrong with this story.
1/ He didn’t have an uncle.
2/ The us army didn’t liberate that camp.
3/ The screening after deployment that he is demanding already exists.
I am sure others can go on, but just that alone proves this is a lie. Come on, he talked about an uncle HE DOESN’T HAVE!!!! This lie is simply lame. Doesn’t he know that we do know how to check this stuff?

The gaffe machine is a terribly accurate description. We should hang our heads in shame if nobody uses this plethora of gaffes in campaign ads… Who needs Bittergate and Rev. Wright?
