Oh, crap, RR! I wasn’t even paying attention to what the link said, when I put my mouse over it!
Imagine my surprise when the site came up with that picture! ROFLMAO
Well, Rev, those statistics of yours show that the public education system’s efforts are working but just not as you seem to insinuate.
While I agree with the majority here (my older daughter starts 8th grade next year…), I have to say that post 46 by grumbles was seriously funny.
Thanks for the LGM link; I’ve tried to open that one before and couldn’t. You all can always be trusted to be hilarious.
Being the concerned individuals that we are here in the comments section, we also tried to give him some tips too, ArmoredCAV, just like grumbles was seeking.
Not even a “Thank you.” How ungrateful.
Barry F
I’m not sure I would thank you for those tips either! Nice car, though.
Sorry Barry F., I should have gotten back to you sooner, I’ve had my hands full practicing those new techniques all afternoon. I don’t mean to burst your bubble but I’m not seeing much improvement. Also, you are definitely wrong, so so so wrong about the hybrid. In these days of 4 1/2 buck go juice, a Lexus LS Hybrid is, as Borat would say, “Has the p#*&y magnet”. But thank you anyway.
Lets see, masturbation is o.k. to talk about in the schools but today we learn that a moment of silence is not allowed?
It’s also okay for teachers to vote fellow students in Kindergarten, an autistic child, out of class Survivor-style.
Did the school system do anything about it?
Harsh, huh? I suspect she will be back in a classroom in the fall. Any takers?
Why not give the child and his family another slap in the face, while they’re at it.
No pressure, kids. Either vote like the teacher wants you to do to berate a fellow classmate or suffer the consequences.
Ahhh. Wonderful person there shaping the minds of our youth, huh?
You may want to scale back to one hand at a time, grumbles. Therein could lie the rub. No pun intended. Well, maybe a little.
Keep practicing, grumbles. I have faith in you. Your persistence may yet pay off.
Prius and your magnet descriptor both start with a “P” but that is pretty much where the similarities stop.
Not a problem, grumbles. Like I said earlier, I’m just doin’ my part for “education”.
Sorry to run folks. I alluded to hybrids and my wife got turned on…NOT! But, it it time to retire from the computer for the night anyhow.
I agree ArmoredCav…grumbles is one funny dude.
Get a hold of yourselves, it is safe sex
Well, I know grumbles did. I’ve been busy earning a paycheck. Of course, I have a wife, so the need to get a hold of myself rarely, um, arises.
Boo Hoo. Maybe that kid needed his moments of silence.
You guys are too much for me, I think we beat this one to death
Hey-oh!
anybody remember that Surgeon General early in the Clinton administration who advocated masturbation “for the chulren”?
Actually, JA, the 5 year old child in question has Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism.
His offenses in her class included humming and eating his papers. While he may seem like he should have been acting the same as other children in his class and age group, his disorder places him in a markedly different category regarding behavior and how it will impact him.
Where would the teacher’s actions of encouraging other children in her Kindergarten class to vote him out fall – teaching, encouraging, bullying or something else? His ticks with humming and eating his paper, while not normal behavior for most is normal for him.
yes; Jocelyn Elders
oh, while I do appreciate the cheek of the link to the photo of the ‘teacher’ (lgm-haha), I still wondered if there was truly one that existed of the one teaching masturbation in the original story…?
Yep. She wasn’t around too long.
Now, had she spoken of oral sex and a blue dress with the occassional cigar, Slick Willy wouldn’t have had a problem with it, I guess.
The It Takes a Village Crowd can talk all they want about “our” children and the It Takes a Village Crowd can take a leap. These are MY children and I get between them and anything I think threatens them.
That is parent job #1, experts be damned.
Actually, the Grand Canyon was created by a great draining of the flooded parts of the U.S. after the non-SUV created, Al Gore ignored, global warming event in the distant past.
I am pretty sure it wasn’t Paul Bunyan, but believe what you wish.
How come we have all these car accidents by students with learner’s permits who have driver’s ed in these same schools, but manage to get into pretty terrific wrecks? Shouldn’t the outcome be the same as you predict for for sex ed (total, Sweden like perfection), or are we destined for lots of sexual “car crashes?”
Or perhaps the liberal establishment in Hollywood is responsible for undoing all the fine work of sex and driver’s ed, with movies like “Fast and Furious” for cars and just about any of their crap for sex, including television and the commercials therein?
Here’s a thought: maybe you liberals are responsible for the very problems on which you are trying to put a band aid.
You got that right!
