30 pieces… I remember at the start of the Primaries I hoped B. Hussein would knock her out quick because I couldn’t bear the thought of the Clintons back in the White House.
But when McCain became the R nominee, I found myself thinking Hillary was the best of the three. Lots of conservatives are saying that very thing.

I would be very surprised if this is truly the end. Although it would be a relief…I’m not ready for any more “Clinton years.” Now, if only we could avoid “Obama years,” or “McCain years”…

My prediction:
At the convention, chaos will ensue. there will be Floor Fights over Florida and Michigan. Super-delegates will be exposed to fatal concentrations of Green Klintonyte (large bundles of cash). Riots will occur in Grant Park. Dan Rather will get another beat down.
A pantsuit will rise to save the party from the now discredited O-Brother©.
I don’t think we have seen the last of the clintons. The daughter is being groomed for a political position. Just like the kennedy’s, they are with us forever. I have said numerous times, it the choice was hc or bho to vote for, hc is horrible, but bho is far beyond horrible.

It’s a sad day when you find yourself hoping Hillary Clinton doesn’t back down because the other guy is probably worse, yet here we are.
I’d be surprised if she gives in now when things are as close as they are though – it wouldn’t be characteristic of her, that’s for sure.
Maybe Obama, Clinton and McCain will find a sense of compassion and patriotism, and all back down, for the sake of the United States.

This is like cheering because it looks like one of the two (or three?) arsonists arguing over which way to best burn down your house decides to give up.
Both of the Clintons are lying cheating babies who cry if they don’t get thier way. If Obama wins, it will not be the end of the US. We are better than that (Liberals will argue but they can only win by calling me dirty names). So what Obama would ensure is a repeat of 1994. McCain being elected will ensure a repeat of 1986 when the only mistake of Regan’s term will be reinacted like a sick Civil War battle. Except this time, the results will not be drunken red-necks (this is not to disparage drunken red necks – I am one permanently and both occasionally).. It will be a travesty of Justice where Millions of criminals will be pardoned due to the mere fact that they got away with it long enough. Yep, I am talkin’ Amnesty.
We are still dealing with the stink of 1986’s IRCA Amnesty where you got a green card by just being here 10 years. McCain’s Amnesty will surely be less restrictive. It will be hidden in smoke and mirrors politico speak but it will come.
So, let the Dems screw up for a couple of years and await sensible people to elect Republican Congressmen or open the floodgates. It’s the Devil and the deep blue sea. You guess who is who..

With a little luck McCain will have a capable VP and won’t run for reelection in 2012 leaving his VP with a good chance or being elected … I have my preferences but everyone here has theirs as well … several good possibilities …
If the intent in Denver is to recreate Chicago ‘68, then expect Hillary to be the Eugene McCarthy equivilent and play to the crowd.

Now, a tax-happy appeaser of terrorists to go up against a RINO.

When she destroys the best health care system in the world I wouldn’t be the only one to regret her as POTUS. Frankly, I feel like a peasant having to choose between Pol Pot or Stalin, when it comes to the democrats. I wish the whole party would quit. Not going to happen but it does make for a good daydream, along with a national recall of Congress.
graysonret – funny you posted that. I was “discussing” politics recently with a liberal political science major. I told him I wasn’t voting. Sacrileage to him but I rebutted by saying “if you had to vote for either Stalin, Hitler or Marx, you wouldn’t vote.” His answer – that would never happen. I asked him to please not take my analogy literally. I think he got my meaning.

Have any Democrat candidates ever built a business, met a payroll or spent their money to create a “taxable entity”? Nope. They spend “other folks money” and they are damned good at that.
Book deals and fees for making the rounds on the Speaking Circuit are their talents. Their money making talents do not create wealth or productive employment for anyone but themselves. Spending “other peoples” money requires no talent whatsoever.
At closer glance, the relationships that the Clintons and Obamas have with shady folks, marxists, racists and white collar crooks qualifies them for POTUS? Nope. It just gives them the monies required for the pursuit of the Brass Ring.
Neither Hillary Rodham Anti-Christ or B. Hussein Obama posess any genuine leadership skills that benefit anyone but themselves.
McCain is not my first choice but he is the safest choice for November. Howard Dean is correct in stating that the Dems have a historic selection process this year. Historic is not in the best interests of the Nation. They fielded two candidates with questionable values and baggage that does not pass my smell test. Neither have any values that I hold dear or find acceptable. I have grandchildren that will grow up in the world that they will shape. Quite frankly I find that thought appalling.
I do not want the former philander in chief to live in the White House with his spouse. The Obamas with their racist and marxist attitudes scare the hell out of me.
For them it is the intoxicating sense of Power, not the opportunity to offer genuine unselfish service to the Nation.

IMO Hillary knew she lost quite a while ago, but she has always had serious issues with entitlement. I think she just couldn’t believe that she wouldn’t be President. It was a shock to her system—so, in her deviousness, she decided if she can’t be POTUS, neither should Barry HUSSEIN O’Whatever. All of this delights me. Unfortunately, I am still left with McCain, sigh.
