Hillary Clinton is prepared at the end of Tuesday evening’s last two Democratic primary contests to cede that Barack Obama has enough delegates to stake claim to the nomination, The Associated Press reports.
The Clinton campaign issued an immediate denial.
“The AP story is incorrect. Senator Clinton will not concede the nomination this evening,” the campaign’s statement reads in its entirety.

Terry McAuliffe was just on CNN saying reports from AP and others are “completely wrong”. He said Clinton will not concede tonight or even admit Obama has the delegates needed. This story is likely being pushed by the Obama camp in an effort to get the superdelegate surge that has been hyped up for today.

The way I understand it, she is merely going to concede the fact that B. Hussein Obama has reached the number of delegates necessary to secure the nomination, and not the nomination itself.

What’s up with that AP story? Seems like every news outfit in the country just copies & pastes AP wire stories nowadays, so if the AP isn’t trustworthy, then the mainstream media is doomed to irrelevance.
She’d sacrifice all the money and tea in China to get the nomination.

Rats! I was really hoping for some good old down and dirty street fighting for the nomination to see if gender would win over race.
Hillary is alot like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies. No matter how battered and beaten, Jason always comes back. Other anaologies I can think of: Bill is now like Muhammad Ali when Ali foolishly came back in 1980 to fight Larry Holmes. Ali, like Bill, was fat and slow and the fight game had passed him by. Obama was alot like the Larry Holmes of 1980, who was then in his prime and had figured out how to defeat a slow and uncomprehending fighter.
The only other analogy that works is that Hillary is a little like Ma Barker after the ole gang was broken up but Ma wanted one last heist.

Ever since Obama began elbowing white male pretenders to the nomination out of the race, pundits have been predicting a knock-down-dragged-out fight between the gender-aggrieved and the racially aggrieved. That is what’s happening now. It ain’t over until it’s over.
We’ll see if Bob Beckel is right and the big shoe falls on the Obama campaign. IMO, Hillary is going to wait for that to play out. There have been rumors that she knew of something that would hurt their campaign for a long time and was just waiting for the right moment to use it. I’d say now is that moment.

It’s a planted story, and a dirty trick by the DNC. The democrats using their propaganda machine (aka the mainstream media) wants Clinton out, and there is rumor that she may win both Montana, and North Dakota. So they plant a story designed to lower the number of people who will vote for her…. i.e. why vote, if she’s already decided to quit…
If he’s willing to run a campaign that will scare the hell out of the independents he could win. He’s just liberal enough to appeal to them, but his “running a clean campaign” BS isn’t going to offset the pull all the stops that an Obama/Soros campaign is going to be.
It’s depressing to even think about a Juan Mcain or Barack Hussein administration.

Since the “concession speech” rumor was squashed, I guess the DNC has pulled another dirty trick to keep Hillary’s supporters away from the polls in North Dakota and Montana. Curiouser and curiouser.

My father (lifelong Republican) had a surprising insight - Obama would outlast Hillary because most TV viewers simply can’t stand the idea of listening to her for the next four (eight?) years. I think that’s what it really came down to - Obama is easier on the ears, even if he makes little sense.
