Obama on Rezko: I’m a clueless dupe…again!

By Michelle Malkin  •  June 4, 2008 08:55 PM

“This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew.”

That was Barack Obama’s response to his corrupt crony’s convictions.

Q: How many times can Barack Obama claim to be shocked, shocked by the behavior of his longtime friends?

A: As long as the press keeps ogling, he’ll surf his way to November.

If only we had an adult running, this would be a cake walk.

Might be time for all the tough guys-MM, Ingraham, Hannity, et al, to stop the idiotic anti-McCain crap, elect the ass for one term (while holding his feet to the fire. The day AFTER he’s in is the time to attack and start the search for a REAL conservative), and then move on.

So where are the genuine heavyweights — the real thinkers, the achievers, the people who have done something and given something? I guess they’re not members of the New Party, so no chance Obama would meet them.

Especially in light of the comments written here, most of them pointless, I have to ask: what now? What’s the solution? He continues to say, “This isn’t the [insert name here] I knew.” Why? Because it works. So, I ask, how can we fight this, not just complain about it?
    How about this:
    1) Organizations drop their fear of losing their “non-profit” status and run whatever ads their consciences feel are appropriate. For example, I have yet to see any commercials by anti-abortion groups against Obama: why? Just pay the taxes and throw down the government’s leash on freedom.
    2) Become active in your community’s politics. Write articles to your local paper, representative, Senator (yes, even if it is Obama himself) about your concerns. Don’t just write in smart aleck comments on MM’s sites and expect things to improve.
We fight on the battlefield we’re given, not the battlefield for which we wished. Get used to it.

How many times can someone, running for president, keep claiming they’ve been “had” or found out that they never knew the person that they just “renounced?” For someone who’s seemingly intelligent, perceptive, and charismatic I find such lack of judgement utterly perplexing.

This man is either the world’s worst judge of character or the best liar since Bill Clinton. It appears to be a toss up. ;-)

You watch the faces of Obama’s adoring crowds and know that something is going on. The fools have ears but do not hear; they have eyes and do not see. The scumbags in the news media are even more blind, or corrupt.

But there are doubters. Democratic activist/leftist Lanny Davis was on Glenn Beck tonight talking about Israel-Jews and Obama. Davis tried to appear confident, but he is one worried Jew. Perhaps the Obama, Wright, Farrakan, PLO connection is catching up with him.

But does it matter? Wright, Rezko, Pleger and the rest did not seem to hurt. The man seems to have something going for him. How the rest of the country sees it is to be seen.

It’s difficult if not impossible to use reason to battle the emotional masses that follow the Dope. Remember the Clinton years? Eight years of theft, corruption, and suspicious deaths at the national level and Slick Willie only loses his law license. Then the missus moves to New York and gets elected senator. And you think reason has any chance of stopping the Dope?

It’s interesting that the media does not consider this news.

Remember how they linked every elected Republican directly to Jack Abramoff?

It is a wonder to me that news outlets like the NY Times, CNN, NBC haven’t had retaliatory things happen to them….physical retaliatory things….

They absolutely deserve the worst they can get.

In January 2008 Obama pushed aside questions about his dealings with Rezko by saying, “Nobody had an inkling that he was involved in any problems” and “Nobody had any indications that he was engaging in wrongdoing.” This is the mantra his handlers have issued him.
Here is part of an exchange he had with Diane Sawyer about Rezko:
OBAMA: …Nobody had any indications that he was engaging in wrongdoing. …
SAWYER: excuse me, but you did say that it was boneheaded to enter into the real estate relationship with him on that parcel of land when he was under a cloud of suspicion.
OBAMA: Well, what is certainly true is that in terms of appearances, and I’ve already said this, that I should not have entered into any kind of agreement with him….

Obama just selected Eric Holder to help vet VP candidates. Holder helped Marc Rich get a pardon.
    Obamessiah the Great. Not.

Poor Tony. The first thing I thought of was Michael Bolton in the movie Office Space. All worried about going to the federal “Pound me in the @$$” prison. I wonder who Rezko will cough up to keep that from happening.

I watched O’Reilly last night, just to see if he would mention Tony Rezko, and he didn’t. The crawly thing on the bottom of the screen did. I remember getting sick and tired of hearing about Abramoff every night, but then he was mixed up with Republicans, with a democrat or two mentioned, but mainly Republicans.
But to get back on thread, I don’t want a person who’s kept bad company for years, and don’t have the basketballs to admit they were bad, as my President. Barack Hussein Obama is just not the one to lead this great Country. “This is not the Rezko I knew.” Give me a break already!!!
