I was wondering why she would pre-announce her announcement 3 days in advance, but now I see what’s happening. She’s hoping (or plotting) for something to come out of this to make him quit or at least get superdelegates to denounce him.

Especially in light of the comments written here, most of them pointless, I have to ask: what now? What’s the solution? He continues to say, “This isn’t the [insert name here] I knew.” Why? Because it works. So, I ask, how can we fight this, not just complain about it?
How about this:
1) Organizations drop their fear of losing their “non-profit” status and run whatever ads their consciences feel are appropriate. For example, I have yet to see any commercials by anti-abortion groups against Obama: why? Just pay the taxes and throw down the government’s leash on freedom.
2) Become active in your community’s politics. Write articles to your local paper, representative, Senator (yes, even if it is Obama himself) about your concerns. Don’t just write in smart aleck comments on MM’s sites and expect things to improve.
We fight on the battlefield we’re given, not the battlefield for which we wished. Get used to it.

How many times can someone, running for president, keep claiming they’ve been “had” or found out that they never knew the person that they just “renounced?” For someone who’s seemingly intelligent, perceptive, and charismatic I find such lack of judgement utterly perplexing.

But there are doubters. Democratic activist/leftist Lanny Davis was on Glenn Beck tonight talking about Israel-Jews and Obama. Davis tried to appear confident, but he is one worried Jew. Perhaps the Obama, Wright, Farrakan, PLO connection is catching up with him.
But does it matter? Wright, Rezko, Pleger and the rest did not seem to hurt. The man seems to have something going for him. How the rest of the country sees it is to be seen.

I watched O’Reilly last night, just to see if he would mention Tony Rezko, and he didn’t. The crawly thing on the bottom of the screen did. I remember getting sick and tired of hearing about Abramoff every night, but then he was mixed up with Republicans, with a democrat or two mentioned, but mainly Republicans.
But to get back on thread, I don’t want a person who’s kept bad company for years, and don’t have the basketballs to admit they were bad, as my President. Barack Hussein Obama is just not the one to lead this great Country. “This is not the Rezko I knew.” Give me a break already!!!
