At least she didn’t ogle
When female journalists aren’t staring at Barack Obama’s jeans, they’re bawling their eyes out. Via Eric Gargiulo, here’s MSNBC anchor Mika Brezinski talking about how her producer gal pal broke down and shed tears of joy upon learning that their savior had clinched the Democrat presidential nomination.

Are you really that naive? Or are you just that deluded? Did you listen to what she was saying? She was not saying this woman had been moved by “How far America had come”. Obviously you have not been paying much attention to the news, as it is still wrought with complainsts and stories aimed at proving that every last white person in this country are all secretly hiding their white robes and hoods, with mass lynchings just moments away.
Leave it to the Conservatives? Have you been paying any attention at all to the propaganda that has surrounded this Empty Suit since the Democratic Convention four years ago? No matter who the other Democratic candidates were, it did not matter. The media had appointed him the winner the moment he announced his candidacy and all reporting has been geared to make that happen. This man has no plan, has no structure, and is simply running for President on a couple of sound-bites and his looks. PERIOD! And people like YOU eat it up. Go on…tell us all what you like about him. However, saying “He is for change” will not cut it. Tell us what policies of his you are approving of. Tell us what policies he has that will make this country better, make him the best possible choice for President of the united States, the last Super Power on the planet. You can’t. Why? Because he has none. Change and “bringing the country together” is not a policy…it is a slogan. But you cannot tell that to any of these imbiciles that are voting for him simply because the media have protrayed him as hip and cool.
No experience, no policies, no plans, amazingly questionable judge of character, incredibly poor coice of friends, mentors and “SPiritual Leaders” and yet he is the “presumed” Democratic nominee for President of the United States. Yeah…she was crying because America has instantly come around and erased all the bad stuff.
take the needle ALL the way out of the arm…
It’s Obama-Clinton vs McCain-Giuliani.
Hey, that means Giuliani will be President if McCain doesn’t last 4 years — I’d give it 50-50.
When you have a “clueless” new President coming in, it won’t be difficult for the now corrupt congress to sweep him under their wing. The new slogan will be, “cooperate with us or else”. Having no experience or new ideas, he’ll have to use them for advice and I’m sure they will gladly tell him what to do. World leaders will love an Obama Presidency; seeing a man who can be easily led and fooled. Just another Carter in an Andrew Johnson situation.
I would like the news to just give me the NEWS. Everyone has to give their “take” on it. I don’t care to know that Chris Matthew’s leg tingles every time Obamessiah speaks, nor do I want to hear about weeping black MSNBC assistants.
Because they put their opinions into every story, I question the truth about every story.
Just the facts, ma’am. Nothing more.
Step one is recognizing it. I think nyk is a ways away from that, yet.
This is my worst fear of an Obama presidency. He really has no administrative experience or solid ideas of his own that I can discern. The more liberal and experienced members of congress are going to jerk him around and have him doing their bidding from the get-go. The fiasco that awaits us is going to make me yearn for the Clinton era. Wait! I take that back. I can’t believe I had that thought.
In response to some in this thread who defend the teary producer; I certainly understand that everyone (even journalists) has an opinion. I understand that Sen Obama’s candidacy is, indeed, historic; however, I take exception to the reporting of the producer’s or other reporters reactions. I don’t need to know who has tingly legs or teary eyes at the mention of Obama’s name. I think it raises grave concern about the integrity of the reporters’ professionalism. They are supposed to be neutral in their business. The idea of telling the audience of their physical and emotional reactions throws their professional credibility out the window. It’s no wonder people don’t trust the media any more.
Did you learn this from a liberal professor? Well I’m not going to let you pass off your BS as truth.
Here are the facts:
Southern Democrats who switched to the Republican Party did so because they got over their dislike for the Republican Party as the party for blacks and adopted the Republican Party’s core values: lower taxes, limited government, personal responsibility and equal opportunities for all Americans.
Since the Republican Party was founded as the anti-slavery party, Southern Democrats declared that they would rather vote for a “yellow dog” than vote for a Republican. Today, some of those Dixiecrats continue their political careers as Democrats. The most notable examples are Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia who is well known for having been a “Keagle” in the Ku Klux Klan, and Democrat Senator Ernest Hollings who put up the Confederate flag over the state capitol when he was the governor of South Carolina. The South did not begin the switch to the Republican Party until the late 1970s with President Richard Nixon’s Southern Strategy. Georgia did not switch until 2002.
Oh and Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican. I think he was more informed than the modern day “minority” liberal.
Please don’t confuse the liberals with too many facts at once. It upsets the their world view and causes them to go into BDS rants and we all suffer.
Better to give them very small doses at once, along with a hug to help them feel better.
As I always suspected the only way to do my civic duty AND to retain my dignity, is to vote for Ron Paul. That way I will still be able to look at myself in the mirror and say to myself “Well done for NOT voting for any of the corrupt sell-outs! Have a nice day!”.
A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama.
How is there dignity in voting for crazy?
JT – #108: Your post was excellent. I have studied this matter and what you said was correct. However, none of these facts or some distorted views regarding the Civil Rights Act are taught in the public schools and certainly not at the college level.
Again, NYK is so condescending and patronizing in her discussions, that I have chosen to ignore her.
