Principal who okayed mandatory CAIR/Muslim assembly is out

By Michelle Malkin  •  June 5, 2008 09:59 AM

Here’s an update on the Texas school that failed to inform parents about a mandatory Islam presentation taught by CAIR officials (background here).

The principal who allowed it has been reassigned. Via the Houston Chronicle blog:

Our neighborhood reporter, Thayer Evans, received this terse announcement from Friendswood ISD late Wednesday:

Robin Lowe, Friendswood Junior High Principal, has accepted another administrative position effective immediately.
The process for a new junior high principal has begun.

…Details have been trickling out. In a letter apologizing to parents and community members on Saturday, Superintendent Trish Hanks said the presentation was in “response to an incident that occurred between students at Friendswood Junior High School and the perception and fear that it caused to some involved.” She also said CAIR considered it a “hate crime.”

Take it with a grain of salt.

CAIR hopes to give their presentation at other public schools.

You’ve been forewarned.

More like CAIR hopes to give their presentation continue drumming up support for Hamas at other public schools by indoctrinating children without their parents notice or permission not with a historical view of Islam that would normally get taught in a school but with actually proseltyzing and then claiming that Islam does not support terrorism despite the ever growing statistics since 9/11 carried out by Islamic Terrorists since then to the contrary and not to mention CAIR themselves getting caught supporting a terrorist organization.

Stay vigilant, and thanks Michelle for doing just that.

On a serious note, the article says it caused fear…did i miss something? Or is this just an attempt to paint people who dissent from having CAIR come in there as hand wringing worry warts that just “misunderstand” Islam?

YES! Unfortunately, tenure prevents the out-right firing of incompetents like Principal Hanks, but at least she will no longer be a position to corrupt the education process for those kids in that school system.

Robin Lowe, Friendswood Junior High Principal, has accepted another administrative position effective immediately.
The process for a new junior high principal has begun.

In our school system, reassignment to an administrative post usually entails being “kicked upstairs” to the Central Office and serving out the remainder of one’s contract as a paper pusher, away from the classroom/student interaction until the system can legally sever employment with the individual.

When God was cast out of the European nations they at least still had some national pride. In this country now it seems to be nothing but intellectual and situational anarchy. “Everyone doing what seems right in their own eyes.” Sound familiar?

The enemies of our way of life (i.e. CAIR), make no mistake they are enemies (witness their response), saw this long ago and began to infiltrate while we will still not even admit it to ourselves, let alone take action to stop it. Because that would mean we would have to care about something other than ourselves. We are so wrapped up in our ego-centric, personal daily lives, with our blinders on, not caring about what happens to others, that we can’t see or care about the big picture of what is happening to our nation.

However, its still not too late.

But when someone from the majority complains about the subject the minority is complaining about, it’s brushed off as nothing.

Obviously, complaints have different levels of weighted value. The math is upside down. The 98% should carry more weight than the 2% (or less) you’d think.

I prefer my children learn about Christanity so I take MY children to MY Church. I prefer MY children to learn ethics and morals I believe in so I teach them. So either this Adobe Employee used Company time and company software to create this presentation, or CAIR is using an illegal pirated copy of Microsoft PowerPoint. I would guess that Adobe, like most corporations, bans the use of company owned software for employee’s own personal use.

Plus, CAIR is using copywritten images within the presentation without persmission. The photos of Malcolm X, Muhammed Ali and Hakeem Olajuwon are all copywritten and protected.

Also: Syed has donated $250.00 to the 2008 DNC Presidential Fund raising effort:

Who was it that predicted that the liberals, upon the chance he got the nomination, would already be calling him the President? I owe you lunch whomever made that statement.

OK, he hasn’t been elected yet, but he’s ahead in the polls and it’s not going to be a good election for Republicans.

I noticed that he “accepted another admin. position” and didn’t get his butt fired. If it was a Christian presentation, he would have been “drawn and quartered”. He probably gets no change in salary and no loss. Just takes another position. Sad.

lgm, I stand corrected. I went to each link and became enlightened. The Christian Today link, #4 was especially interesting. I frequently make judgements about liberals and lump them all into the same box of intolerence but I will try to do my homework before I make another blanket statement. I appreciate your homework on the ACLU.

So Bin Laden and 9/11 are succeeding. They are destroying the fabric of American society from the inside. Today a school principal loses his job because he exposed kids to an hour of instruction about Islam.

Maybe next year the same will happen to a principal who lets in a Rabbi

They better let in a Rabbi…The last time I checked LGM, this country is Judeo-Christian

You don’t see Christians or Jews strapping a chestful of dynamite to their chest to protest your way of thinking, now do ya, LGM?

Why would they do that, LGM? Jews don’t blow people up.

If they did, the ACLU would be all over the place.

What you need to understand about CAIR is that they are trying to convert all Americans to Islam to put us all under sharia law.

Getting you to believe terrorists in Iraq are freedom fighters is step one.

As well they should if the presentation is given by a group shown to be associated with radicals and terrorists, and do not inform the parents. It was the ACLU that taught us that any religion in the classroom or associated with any state or federal function was verboten.

You are wrong on another count: the liberal Democrats, the party of jihad, is destroying the fabric of American society from the inside. From their domination of the eroding schools to their domination of the very media that both creates a cancer in our society and inflames the sensibilities of those in Islamic societies that abhor Western values in their society (THAT is why they hate us so much: liberal Hollywood).
