The Democrat presidential nominee and his arch-rival met yesterday in D.C., where they reportedly had a “productive discussion” about “unity.”
All the continued Beltway chatter of an Obama-Clinton ticket reminds me of the 1980s marriage-gone-bad movie, “The War of the Roses.”
Barack + Hillary = Oliver Rose/Michael Douglas + Barbara Rose/Kathleen Turner = union from hell = recipe for inevitable self-destruction.
Line most likely to be uttered in some form by Hillary to Obama if this nightmare ticket became reality?
Turner snarling at Douglas: “You might not have made it if not for me, sweetcakes.”

How in the world will the Obamessiah sleep at night knowing that he is just one heartbeat away from her moving up to the first seat? He’ll need to hire a food taster, as well as double his guard, (if he can trust them). But, then again, would Hillary do anything so low as to speed his demise? Think about it, folks.

4. An instant an undying reference to 1968 - where this whole ‘all about me’ brand of politics got its start - and electing these two is supposed to be the post-Woodstock ‘We can change the world’ payoff.
5. One of the signs of the Apoloypse? (just kidding - but if they were elected, I’d have to re-evaluate that).
If, for some strange reason, Obama were stupid enough to put Hillary on the ticket with him and he were to win in November, Surely Obama would have enough insight to at least relegate them to the old Executive Office Building.

Insightful, I agree, It was not a gaff when she mentioned RFK being assasinated in June when she could have said simply that RFK won the nomination in the Calif. primary in June, there was no need to mention assasination.

We don’t know what monster pressures will be put on Obama to add Mrs. Clinton to his ticket, nor what disgusting back-room deals might be made. However, fear for his life aside, Obama would be stupid to take on Mrs. Clinton as his running mate. She would be a disruptive influence and try to hog the credit for any perceived successes of the administration. She would also drag the clinton odor of corruption and immorality back into the executive office. Best be rid of her.

Obama is being forced to make Hillary his VP by the Global Elite. Yesterday the Bilderberg Group held their annual meeting. Every four years they meet in the U.S. (which of course just happens to be the years that we have presidential election.) Yesterdays meeting took place at the Westfield Marriot in Chantilly, Va. near Dulles airport. Obama held a rally at nearby Nissan Pavillion just up the road in Manassass, Va. so we know that he was in the vicinity. Then He and Hillary have a late night meeting in D.C. Hmmm…

Think about how much money has been spent electing someone to abuse power and usher in socialism. The founding fathers would fall down dead if they saw the union today. It is exactly what they feared: consolidated central government. In a strict constructionist interpretation of the constitution intended by the founding fathers, the constitution has to specifically authorize powers to the “federal” government. So where does the constitution authorize universal health care or forcing oil companies to reinvest their profits or mortgage bailouts? The executive branch is just a left-over from the monarchy we broke away from. It seems some people need to worship kings and have someone else take care of them.

It seems to me that if you have to meet in secret to discuss “unity” you don’t have much of it to begin with.
Frankly, the only time you need to discuss “unity” is when you aren’t united.
I think Hillary’s chances for the presidency are better if she is McCain’s running mate. McCain is totally infatuated with Hillary. Of course, McCain’s chances of living out his first term are worse if Hillary is his running mate.

He may get the disgruntled Hillary voters back with her on the ticket, but he will have to hire a food-taster and put up with constant attempts at being upstaged by her. And he’ll have Bill on the sidelines piping up and making public statements about what O SHOULD have done about this or that, because remember Billy C. isn’t capable of sitting quietly on the sidelines. This would also mean that O has brought the stain of the Clinton presidency into his administration, should he win. Nobody that ever got into bed with the Clintons came out unhurt. I have observed that you always get junk on you when you get involved with the Clintons. You could end up in jail or worse….

I’m with you on this one, terrig. Our country is a Socialist Republic cesspool in the biggest grip of me, me, me and screw you, you, you (insert military, the founders, and Conservative values, taxpayers) and racist, victim, pity pool guilt trip political campaign in many, many years.
It pains me that, as a former Social Studies teacher, we are no longer Americans. We are sub-groups with individual grievances. We are blacks who need to stick it to the rest of the country because the rest couldn’t possible understand what it’s like to be a DESCENDANT of slaves. There are Latinos who think that there are no illegals and that anybody can just enter this country, have a baby, and then wham bam, you’re a citizen. There are youth, who have become desensitized, isolated, lazy, who no longer think for themselves, don’t think they should work for what they want, that the country owes THEM something. These are all the products of liberalism and its useful educational curriculum of multi-culturalism.
Yes, it is depressing. How do you fight against the following things:
1. Free health care.
2. Welfare.
3. Free college education.
4. Raising taxes to create this grand, new Socialist Utopia.
5. Chit chatting with dictator sock puppets.
6. Ensuring lack of energy independence through environmental interference.
7. Giving victim groups freebies because you have to keep your voter groups happy.
8.Defunding/weakening the military for the pleasure of groups like Moveon.org.
I’m afraid that there are very few politicians out there, including Obummer, Shrillary, an McCain, who value true “independence.” They all have these constituencies to please, whether it is victim/minority groups, environuts, anti-war zealots, etc. Just because Obummer says he’s done with lobbyists doesn’t mean it will happen. He sure didn’t include the House or Senate versions of the DNC.
No, not only have politicians lost their souls but so have American citizens who have forgotten what this country is really about and why it was founded in the first place.

Obama is going to pick someone with deep military experience ie Jim Webb or Weasley Clarke. Hillary will stay in the Senate and shoot for Reid’s seat to become the lioness of the Senate to replace Kennedy. She would actually have more power there than in Obama’s cabinet or as VP should he actually win, which I doubt.

There is no WAY The Chosen One even looks in her direction for VP. I don’t think he’s really that concerned about the women vowing never to vote for him.
