The Saudis are NOT our friends. This Wahabi madrass should be shut down immediately.
What is wrong with this country when we allow hostile entities to operate within our own borders, call for ‘death to America’ and indoctrinate children for that purpose? You can bet your ass this curriculum is being re-enforced at home. Hello? Department of Homeland Security? FBI? Where the hell are you?

Attention, Hyland and the Islamothugs: This is my country, and I not only refuse to cede it to the likes of you, but I will fight tooth and nail to stop your campaign of Caliphication.

lgm,

i read your reply this morning.

You're comparing a 2000+ year old text...to one thats CURRENTLY in print and is being passed to school children.

Dont you see a distinction?

If orthodox jews were teaching this in modern schools, that as this one are on state owned property, they'd be shut down and condemned by everyone. I dont see this being the case.

BTW, to refute something else you've said. Whether or not the man in question knows what he's talking about or not, apostacy is a crime punishable by death in the Middle East.
Examples:

Here's one from our own hostess' site.

How about this?

And here's another.

I could do this for hours.
So lgm...is this the type of ideology you support?

Once again I question the accuracy of these reports

Of course you do, you're a consistent liar and spin-master. It goes against your agenda so of course you are going to question this government probe. If it was a government probe into Bush you would be praising it as gold.

But they also would learn (in a different class, on Talmud) that this is never enforced.

The muslims are obviously being taught this is never enforced, I mean it's not like we have thousands of people being stoned to death or beheaded or hung by Muslims for being gay or Christian or Jewish or leaving Islam. /sarc

graysonret said (#72):

Since they teach that people who convert away from Islam are grounds to have them killed…and, since Obama’s father was Moslem,

This nutball idea was printed in the Op/Ed section of the NYTimes (liberal propaganda?). Muslim scholars from around the world have said that Edwin Litwak doesn't know what he's talking about.

atheling said (#73):

Here is the link and excerpts from the USCIRF investigation:

Examples of Problematic Passages in Current ISA Textbooks

The most problematic texts involve passages that are not directly from the Koran but rather contain the Saudi government’s particular interpretation of Koranic and other Islamic texts. Some passages clearly exhort the readers to commit acts of violence, as can be seen in the following two examples:...

Once again I question the accuracy of these reports, given their source and content. The State Department is trying to figure out what text is used in a school just across the river, so instead of picking up the phone or driving down, they make a fact finding trip to Saudi Arabia.

And you would have to know the context: any male child getting an orthodox Jewish education would learn that death is the punishment for adultery. But they also would learn (in a different class, on Talmud) that this is never enforced. If the Bushies were huffing and puffing, they would forget to report the second part.

He also doesn't respond to the tens of thousands of murders we can provide factual evidence for that were committed for the very reasons listed in those 12th grade textbooks.

But they have a disclaimer on their website saying they love everybody so that is enough for lgm and the rest of his ilk.
