The main theme of both conventions will be: “Ask not what you can do for your country; ask what your country can do for you.” People will be watching to see which party follows that theme the best.

But I will say that LGM is way off track subject wise and its a little irritating.

These are tough times for conservatives. We’re taking flak at school, at work, at church, at the polls, even among family members.

We have just a few places like this site where we can go to feel comfortable. And then you have LGM and a few others. . .

I knew this party was toast when Tom DeLay got out and said the republicans had scrubbed the budget of all waste. If there is not a sea change of attitude from our elected leaders here in Texas the GOP will resemble that mansion that just burned.

I want my party back.

No one said the pencil neck marxist’s birth certificate issue was anything but a rumor at the time. But inquiring people wanted to know for sure, just as the libs did with McCain. And with a lot less restraint. I would not be surprised though if it turned out to have been doctored up. His entire campaign has been one big cosmetic surgery trying to keep his true identity secret. I am still looking forward to Hillary’s October surprise.

Back to topic. I live in Dan Patrick’s district, I campained for him, I voted for him. I wish he’d run for Governor or Lt. Governor.

Then we’d see National Guard troops on the border.
