Bring Laura back
Fans of our friend Laura Ingraham know that she has been off her radio program for the past two weeks over some sort of contractual dispute. She’s a vital voice for the Right and she needs to get back on the airwaves pronto. You can keep up with her at her website here (where there’s a map to get local contact info for station managers to call and ask for Laura to be put back on the air). You can also catch her on Fox News, where she’ll be hosting the 5pm show next week. Grass-roots website Renew America has background here. And she has a video message on her YouTube channel here. Stay tuned.

I thought businesses were in the business of making money. If Laura is one such person (i.e., making the radio station money) I don’t see what the issue is here… contractual or not. Fix this and get her back on the airwaves.
Ahhh, so that’s why i haven’t been hearing her the past two weeks, leaving me to listen to Glenn Beck act crazy for 3 hours.
What a void in the morning with Laura’s voice of reason missing.
Like any good kitty kat,Laura will no doubt land on her feet…with any luck this will result in her becoming a FNC regular
Hopefully it gets solved soon as the country needs more true Conservatives like Laura on the air bringing some common sense to the issues.
Honestly, I dont listen to Ingram. i think they play her on the weekends here when i’m usually away from the radio.
i’ll have to check out her site i guess, and see whats there.
I too miss Laura. I don’t get to listen as often as I used to but where is she ?? Saw her on Fox last evening. I also have two of her books. Very entertaining and intelligent. Bring that woman back to the air waves!

They’re also in the business of not losing money; it’s a contract negotiation, which none of us are privy to the details.
Abstractmind…
I listen to her on a podcast and love it. That way I can listen any time and at my leisure!
I miss Laura!!! Monica Crowley, whoever she is, absolutely does nothing for me! Ick. She may be a great person, but Laura she is not!
Laura and Michelle lead the charge where most of the deballed men would be frightened to tread. God Bless these women.

I thought that was implied in my statement that if she is making them money then they should move forward. I concur that we do not have details; however, whatever they are they should be worked out, if indeed the arrangement is not a zero-sum transaction.
I so agree, I bought a radio just to listen to Laura, her hours fits pre Rush as do her wonderful analysis, but now…
My one T.V. fantasy is The Laura n Michelle Fox Hour. Perhaps a daytime version of Red Eye and if not that then a daytime version of the days issues. All other Fox offerings would have to pay homage to the queens of [_________________] . Yup, they are so talented just fill in your own fantasy.
she sounds like she’s pretty good. usually, i listen to Phil Valentine on the way home from work, another excellent conservative. I tried listening to Michael Savage, but I found his show to ramble sometimes, and just too much rage to focus coherantly on things. maybe its just me
Even before this happened, we in Denver lost an hour of Laura and an hour of Prager to make room for Dennis Miller. Bor-ring. God love him, but Hannity gets repetetive and boring, so I’m glad to have Beck on the air.
Hannity’s show is horrible. It is repetitive. Miller is good, Boortz is the best.
Bring BACK LAURA!!!! and while we are on it Michelle, when are you going to be on a Radio Program on a regular basis—that would be great TOO…. Miss you sparing with O’Reilly too….you were the best part of his show..He is so blah now ( with an occasional light or two)- Fox TV has gotten soft.
Boortz is a good listen as well, he’s on sometimes on weekend evenings and i’ve heard him a few times. i confess i dont know alot about him other than he’s libertarian i believe, but from what i’ve heard (and i do read his columns once in a blue moon on townhall.com) he does have a solid grasp of economics.
Thank goodness she’s coming back! Monica’s okay, but she doesn’t have the humor that Laura has. No matter how bad things look in the world of politics and culture, Laura has a knack for lightening things up and making me laugh. And anyone who loves their Labrador Retriever like she does is okay by me.
My Labs, Jack and Bailey, send a big “woof!” to Lucy!
Hannity gets a lot of idiot callers comapred to the rest. Beck has gone of the deep end and steps into crazy town too much for my taste.

dang. i thought i used the link tags. sorry ’bout that.
I think Boortz is very good as well. Ingraham is a very smart person, but generally a bit too smug and shrill for my tastes.
I like listening to Laura.
Please don’t tag me as a heretic, but contract disputes can end by either side capitulating, or both sides compromising.
Let’s hope they figure this out soon.
thanks khan, added to favorites
should have said M-F instead of daily. lots of good info, insight, and links.
Thanks for posting this! I was wondering what had happened here. I knew it was secret. If family or health related, I’m sure I’d have heard by now in calls for prayer. Our local station is still running the Laura Ingraham show with guest hosts. Monica Crowley is fine, but she’s no Laura Ingraham.
When you can draw the audience that Laura does, she should be compensated accordingly. If the station loses, her, they lose a huge market chunk.
I agree with others from above. I have always wanted to see you get your own radio and television show, Michelle. Is there any chance that my hopes will be realized? You could call your show In Perspective.
I rarely ever watch The O’Reilly Factor these days, since you aren’t on it anymore.
I have my preferences also but, we need all of these conservative voices on the air. The liberals and their minions in the MSM are trying to silence all of them. With what happened at the SCOTUS yesterday, this election will decide the course of this nation for the foreseeable future.
And let’s make sure we get E.D. Hill back on FNC.
Definitely missing Laura. I don’t like her substitutes.
I didn’t realize it was a contractual thing … I thought maybe her new daughter was ill or something.
Thanks! BRING LAURA BACK.
Laura is outstanding. Rush, fantastic. Michelle, superb. Hannity, often tepid. Libertarian Boortz so so. Levin, also outstanding. Hugh Hewitt is absolutely great, especially with his regular guest Mark Steyn. If we had 400 of these in Congress, the country would be saved.
Boortz has a good grasp of economics and is pro-War on Terror, but he’s too Libertarian on drugs and Christianity. I got tired of him after only about a year.
Anyone else remember Ken Hamblin, the Black Avenger? He lost his show due to a “contractual dispute”. Never think that liberal ideology will not ignore profits. Just look at Air America!
By the way, the simple reason that Air America failed is because libs would rather listen to FM while smoking their dope. Or post anonymously on web sites like Daily Koz so that they can spout their vitriol and not worry about the FCC.

That is a compliment to Laura, considering that Dakine is a liberal. . .Oh yeah, he CLAIMS to be a “Republican,” who loves Obama. No real conservative would dislike the Laura Ingraham show for being “smug” (i.e. funny because it skewers liberals) Only a left-winger would.
All these Obama seminar posters are getting very tiresome on this site.
By the way, Laura Ingraham is THE best talk radio show. At my old job with Fairfax County I could listen from 9:00 -12:00 because I could drive around for my job and listen on the radio. That show is the funniest and smartest radio show around. It was actually the only real thing I liked about the job.
Now I’m a teacher and can listen during my summer vacation (which started this week), but she is not on
Oh yeah: I also like the fact that she is a conservative Catholic and brings Christian morality to the show. She talks not only about politics but about cultural aspects in the culture. And the show is hilarious, too.
Her show really is the best out of all the talk radio shows. She fills a niche that no one else has.
too libertarian meaning, let people be free to believe as they wish and to do what they want as long as it doesn’t infringe on anyone else’s life, liberty, or property?
Sounds like principles upon which this country was founded, doesn’t it?
Well put Gabe. I don’t think I want to see her on a T.V. show though. The time restraints seem to get all the guests talking over each other too much. Its not near as bad on radio. Get THAT show back on instead.
Ken Hamblin ! I was just getting into his show when it vanished. I liked him. Mark Levin is awesome; so smart and so funny. Hewitt is the best interviewer of all the hosts, IMO. I also love the writing of Larry Elder and wish he was nationally syndicated.
The worst: Michael Smirconish and Savage.
I try to listen to Laura on a radio station 35 miles away, but there’s too much interference. Somedays she comes in clear, but most days all I get is static. I’ll definitly be watching her on FNC starting Monday at five PM.
Mrs. Malkin I wish you could get your own radio show, but then it would probably be on the same station Laura’s on, and I’d miss a lot, but I’d sure like to try.
I used to listen to Hannity, (when there was no static) but got sick of hearing every phone call begining with what a great American he is, and less on the subject matter.
When I could listen to Laura, I noticed she takes a lot less phone calls than the other hosts, but I sure enjoyed hearing her.
I hope she gets back on radio soon, as I am sure she will. But quite honestly, I much prefer her on TV, where I can see her too. She isn’t exactly hard on the eyes.
In place of The Factor.
Laura’s out, al franken in…… the USA is going bassackwards.
Was concerned her absence was health related, then i kinda hoped maybe she was on a secret morale boosting trip for the troops… Last thing i suspected was a situation where she might not grace our airwaves on a daily basis, listening to the lovely lady Laura is part of my routine, feels unnerving, discomforting, not hearing her voice… End the dispair, the madness, sort out her show and bring her back soon!
Catching her on oh’RyeLee last night got me anxious to see her new show, she will fit right in with the foxes on FOX, although I am not sure how much more drool my remote can take (eww, TMI).
Gabe, try to keep up. I think Ingraham is smart and she comes off as an honorable person. I’m just not a big fan of her style, and I tend not to be a big fan of the social conservatism bent. BTW, I’m not a member of any party. I think Obama is a smart guy and strikes me as a generally honorable person, but I disagree with most of his policy positions on issues important to me. McCain’s been my guy since the 2000 race. Now, back to your various unhinged conspiracy theories and fringe far right wing views.
lol, FOX News just hired the Huckster as a politcal commentor…..
* commentator
I agree. We used to get her in the 9 pm – 12 am slot, but the local FM talk radio station moved her an hour later (10 pm – 1 am) to make room for a local radio talk show (7 pm – 10 pm). That’s one of the reasons I signed up as a Laura365 Member, so I can listen to her on my computer in real time or download the podcast for later listening. She is sorely missed, both for her insight and engaging personality.

I can’t wait ’til Monday! I’ve been a long-time fan of Laura’s and although I don’t get the chance to listen to her on the radio, I am glad to see she’s coming to FNC – it will definitely be radio’s loss!
Where is Juliet Huddy on Fox these days? That was one hottie and bright too! What a great conbination. But sadly she seems to have vanished without a trace from Fox News.
Fox News is pretty much intolerable with all the crime nonsense from Lacey and Stacey and Scott Peterson, to Anna Nicole Smith and the murder in Arruba which is like four years ago now.
Bring back Juliet and all is forgiven.
I don’t get to hear Laura’s show.
I liked Medved for a while, until he came out very strongly pro-amnesty (in his mind, it isn’t amnesty if the illegals pay a small fine before becoming eligible for all the benefits of citizenship), and he seemed to argue with callers for it dishonestly. Then he was clearly pushing McCain and the Huckster in the primaries.
So now I’m back to Hannity for the drive home, and switch to Hugh Hewitt after that. Hewitt is perhaps the most intelligent conservative radio show host there is. He has Hitchens (the atheist liberal who is for winning the war on Islamists) and Mark Steyn on weekly, and Fox’s “The Beltway Boys” on each Friday.
I like Hewitt also. He’s extremely smart and well-informed, and he debates issues with guests who have opposing positions in a civilized and honorable way. I particularly enjoy his extended interviews with authors (of all kinds of ideological stripes).
I hope this means that we’ll get to see our favorite Michelle on her new show. Laura’s a welcome and refreshing face with a more intelligent view of the world than the egotistic and insufferable O’Reilly.
^^Love Hugh Hewitt! His chats with Mark Steyn are the best. Despite Hewitt’s mild-mannered personality, he doesn’t suffer morons lightly. He goes into full Law Professor From Hell mode when his b.s. detector goes off.
I’ve listened to Laura for five years and I’m going through withdrawal
. In San Diego, they’re airing Mike Gallagher in her time slot and while I’ve nothing against him, it just isn’t the same. I don’t know if this is simply a matter of $ or if there’s other mischief afoot, i.e. liberals at TRN who are using a contractual dispute to force Laura off the air. At the risk of sounding like a bitter Hillary supporter, there aren’t very many women in conservative talk radio and we need more chick power on the airwaves. Laura is not only one of the best hosts overall, she is also perhaps the best socially conservative/pro-life voice on the air.
I like Laura too as well as Boortz, Hewitt and Mark Levine. Sean Vannity is like an annoying fly at a picnic. I just never liked him. But you know I do like Glenn Beck. Yeah, he’s a little crazy sometimes but what’s great about his show is you’ll never know what he’s going to do next. I cannot stand Mike Gallagher at all though and have to agree that Dennis Miller is BORING me to tears.
I’m glad Laura’s getting her own show but WHAT IS GOING ON WITH GIBBY? Sorry to shout but he’s my favortie over at Fox. I miss him. Does anyone know? I’ve been searching but can’t find out.
As for O’Reilly, I used to like him about 5 years ago but he’s gone downhill over the years. Palani is right, he’s too egotistical.
Larraby, Miss Huddy and her partner in crime that guy named Mike have their own show on Big Fox in the morning. It’s syndicated because we get it in the DC area. You might want to check your Big Fox station and see if they run it. HTH
I signed up for her 365 Membership so I could get the podcasts, since I don’t usually get to listen to the show in the mornings. I just thought she was on vacation! Didn’t think much of the fill-ins these past two weeks, so I will do what I can to get her back on air!
Good idea walterc, I have a hard time digesting anything The BOR has on anymore, not to mention he has gone left,,,started with the illegals and his sympathy and empathy for them just “trying to provide for their families”, to hell with the laws of another country. If that’s the case there’s probably about 5 billion people that should come to America.
This is in an odd way, good news. I was afraid (heaven forbid) that her cancer had returned. This is better news.
I listen to Laura and Tammy Bruce every morning…it will fill 6 hours nicely(if i get up early enuf for all of Laura). Good to see Laura’s absence is not due to a returning illness.
Tammy is very entertaining, intelligent, knowledgeable commentator…converted conservative, she offers a realistic view point from the other side based on her experience.
I miss “Your healthy…radio…addiction” each morning on the way to work.
Can you imagine?! With that combo on the air, the forces of evil would stand no chance.
I stopped watching O’Reilly several years ago. I came to the conclusion that he is (to coin a phrase), a “pinhead”.
Ack….i want to listen to a show where i’m not being preached at. i might have to rethink listening
I agree with Ingraham most of the time and have read a couple of her books. However I had to stop listening to her show because she is extremely rude to callers and guests when they oppose her, even when they are civil. She frequently interrupts and refuses to allow them to explain themselves. (Why does she invite them on if she isn’t going to allow them to speak?) She recently pulled that on Dick Morris on Fox and he stuck it to her, and rightly so. She could be a greater asset to conservatism if she would debate to her opponents instead of shouting them down, even if they are crazy moonbats.
joemantler #32, yes, indeed I remember Ken Hamlin, the Black Avenger. Enjoyed his no-holes-barred patriotism and pro military/law enforcement.
Yes, we need Laura back, SOON! Going into withdrawel…
She’s a lawyer, she’ll come out OK…
Our local station has her buried in the middle of the night when no one’s listening, and then only for two hours. Dennis Miller’s on in the evening, but is often preempted by whatever ball game is on that day. I wish Larry Elder was on here, but I think he can be heard live for free at KABC’s website from 3-6pm PT. John and Ken are on at the same time, though, on KFI, so I always found myself switching stations back and forth when I lived in SoCal.
All good shows for different reasons. At least I’ve got cable for Laura. Congrats to her for her new show.
Hey, that’s no way to talk about Geraldo…
I’m glad Laura will be on Fox, but I hope she gets back on the radio soon as well since she can reach so many people. Michelle, I agree with others here that you should have your own show as well. I also do not watch O’Reilly as much since you aren’t on anymore. But I did catch Megyn Kelly on Fox slamming Geraldo yesterday afternoon about the Supreme Court’s decision. I was cheering her on. He’s such a dope. I don’t know why Fox keeps him on their payroll. Let him go to MSNBC. It would be a perfect fit.
It might be me, but I have a feeling some of us are at the point, we don’t care that much anymore. Who goes, who stays. Fox isn’t a conservative station really, and I admit I often like Laura over O’Reilly, but I don’t listen to talk radio much anyway. How much repitious rhetoric can you take?
If her absence is over her making more more money, no sympathy from me.
There are still some good journalists, commentators out there, but if they were gone tomorrow, how many would notice or care that much?
Actually I’d rather see Ann Coulter go, talk about played. And if you guys are anything like the adolescents on HA, the reason you miss her isn’t for her smarts. She is pretty smart, I agree, but don’t care enough.
Questions…
Where are all the liberals who “value” a “woman’s worth,” and who constantly rail about the unfair treatment of executive-class women in the workplace?
Why aren’t we hearing from the Democrat
Royaltyleadership on this? Isn’t Laura one of their own?…oh, wait…she IS a woman, who HAS survived cancer, IS an attorney, IS very smart, but unfortunately, she doesn’t have the right credentials to gain their support…she HAS common sense! What?!
AJ, are you yanking our chains?
Yikes! Obviously, you weren’t, AJ.
AJ and Barry, this is bad news indeed. Another reason to turn off the tv.
They question now is, who will they pair him up with so they will be fair and balanced? How about Keith Ellison? (Or does he no longer go by his ’slave name’?) He would be a terrific counterpoint for Huck’s background, since he is an elected, pro-shari’a, black activist, member of congress, who has a large following…No?
BTW, does anyone know if Ken Hamblin is on anywhere now?
Why won’t Laura respond to your colleague Brian Maloney, Michelle? Why did she lash out at “the blogs” for spreading misinformation about this impasse? The clear implication being that Brian screwed up. She has yet to deny the claims made in his posts about her.
Laura’s political sensibilities are first rate. But is it true she attempted to position herself to grab some of Sean’s stations while he was crafting his new deal? Seems to me she may have stabbed him in the back.
I would love for you to get Laura on the record as to the real goings on. Have Brian help you craft the questions. Thanks, Michelle.
I’ve never listened to her but I wish her luck.
Laura is damn sexy, not as sexy as Michelle but sexy none the less.
I have enjoyed watching Monica Crowley on FoxNews when she would be on the various shows. Ironically her sister is married to Alan Colmes, so it is fun watching her when she substitutes for Sean Hannity on their show. I bet their Thanksgiving dinner table conversations get interesting.
I am glad Laura will be on FoxNews. I keep that channel on all day long as I work, usually on Mute because I stream talk radio through my computer.
When I lived out in Los Angeles, I too, would bounce back and forth between the John and Ken afternoon Drive show and Larry Elder. Wasn’t Larry syndicated at one point? I remember driving out west and being able to get his show on the radio sometimes, and it wash’t KABC. I always thought Larry would be someone interesting to have dinner with. He was single back then but don’t know if he still is. I liked how he used to refer to his mom as the chief justice of the supreme court, since he respected her common sense. I imagine she would have a lot to say about yesterday’s Court ruling if she were still alive.
Maybe Laura will get on a radio channel near where I am now. Who knows. Tammy Bruce was also great to listen to. At one time, she had the Saturday evening show on KFI radio. She was very liberal back then but gradually woke up and got wise!! She brings intellectual honesty to her show.
I live in the Phoenix area and have hear her from 6 in the AM. I would be thrilled if she were replaced by Mike Gallagher or Tammy Bruce. Ingraham is horrible – a bad combo of the “tough guy girl” thing with non-stop self promotion rambling with a very superficial analysis – with too much PC – of events with an annoying voice to boot. Kind of like a female Hannity or Limbaugh. I am glad to hear that she is not sick again, but man, she stinks…
I’m all about Michelle Malkin replacing Bill OReily. I’d watch the show nightly while now, I can hardly tolerate it once a week. Bill bugs me!
Yeah, karen, Larry Elder was syndicated. That changed when he was picked up by XM and Sirius radio, but now I think that’s over, too. If you haven’t read his books, I recommend them. Even his earlier books are still relevant. Haven’t read his latest one yet.
Sorry to veer off topic.
Haven’t watched O’Reilly or Hannity in over a year. Garbage, predictable TV with no nuts…
I hope Laura comes back to radio. She couldn’t release the details when she spoke with Bill O’Reilly last night. Did her radio network change hands into those that are liberal and prize the right kind of fluff radio over that (talk radio) which sells?
I can’t wait to see Laura on television. I’m sure she’ll be a hit. I never liked the old show that replaced John Gibson, who took on another position within Fox. I’m sure she’ll be an instant hit.
Does anybody know what’s going on with her radio show and if it will ever come back? Is this the beginning of what will occur when there are more media mergers and liberal, bobblehead CEO’s decide that hearing about the tawdry lives of celebrities, otherwise known as the Ryan Seacrest Show, are more important than today’s issues?
If Laura’s show was pulled for ideological reasons… then that is pathetic. There is also no question that her show was doing well so what gives?
The station she’s on in Phx has a lineup of all conservatives and her “replacements” to date have included Mike Gallagher and Tammy Bruce, so I doubt it’s ideological. Sounds like a $ issue.
Michelle Malkin needs her own show on Fox… but like my husband says…
we love her blog so much we wouldn’t want anything to interfere..
IF MM ever gets to the next level…if…give her a show. Too PC now. She clearly gets it, but is too concerned with website hits. Evolve, or as you say, grow some b…’s (and BTW, I bought and read “Unhinged”). NOT a basher…
Laura is in a chess game. She’s apparently walked away from the board.
You can catch Laura and some other faves live online, CO2P, at our local stations’ audio stream.
Just click on “Listen Live” at the top of the page linked below. The program schedule link is next to that “listen live” button – the times given are in Central Standard Zone, so adjust your watch accordingly.
AM 1280 – The Patriot (Twin Cities, Minnesota)
You might also enjoy tuning into the locally produced “Northern Alliance Radio Network” program, done by conservative bloggers, on Saturdays at that same site.
No, emjem, the network is Talk Radio Network – talkradionetwork.com – which also features Michael Savage and Tammy Bruce, so it’s not a liberal takeover.
It would seem that Laura is weighing some career-change options in broadcasting which may or may not involve her regular radio program. I suspect she and her radio show’s syndicator – TRN – are negotiatiog a thing or two. And that’s usually one of the things on-air people don’t discuss a whole lot about publicly.
Monica Crowley has done a good job sitting in for Laura in the interim. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s tapped to sit behind the mic if Laura moves on to bigger and better things.
I find her nasally Ivy League accent annoying. It sounds so derisive, cool and condescending. I can’t get it out of my head that that’s what Ivy Leaguers sound like when they get together.
Do you think they’re talking about you, Derek?
The pic on the front of this post is hilarious. What is that? An action shot of a radio host? Wow, now there’s an exciting photo!
If Laura Ingraham is so great for the cause why is she so committed that she lets her freaking greed hinder the mission?
These Conservative entertainers are just as money-grubbing as the left-wing power mongers.
I pretty much cashed out when she pulled a Howard Stern-like prank on Newt. She came off like a real *ss.
Thanks, purple.
I’m a big Laura Ingraham fan but her show should be listened to live (9am-noon Eastern) to truly appreciate it. Too many stations play her show later in the day and it sounds old after so many other hosts have had their whacks at the news of the day. I livestream from KRLA and get it fresh.
Unfortunately, Brian Maloney from Radio Equalizer passes on from a source that Laura hasn’t been dealing with her syndicator in the best of faith:
C’est dommage.

I wouldn’t put very much stock in the anonymous industry source types, Beastie. Just so much more of the usual biz ax-grinding gossip that’s often tossed out in such matters to slant, spin and stir things up. Meaningless stuff, really.
