I have a good friend who is conservative politically as well as theologically. He is against gay marriage, he is against abortion especially partial-birth abortion, most things liberals are for he’s against. He is also black. All he can see in Obama is the color of his skin. He doesnt care what Obama stands for or what he represents, all he can see is a black man is running for president. I sent him a link to a story about Hamas endorsing Ombama. He wanted to know what I was trying to say. I told him, only that the country’s enemies want Obama for president. He’s still an Obama man. Kind of sad.

Most of the Old Testament Prophets were hated by the Israelites because the prophets would tell the Jews they had to get right with the Lord and many didn’t want to change their sinful lives. No different with Rev. Hagee, because most in this nation doesn’t want to believe or change their life style either. The bible has many warnings of what is to come. I agee with TNConservative totally.

Me, I think there’s something about Obama that draws the support of elements who want to see America fail. Some are serious threats, some are not. But shouldn’t we as a nation be figuring out what that something is?

That’s what worries me the most. There are too many “coincidental” endorsements by terrorists, too many “G** damn America types, too many “get out of Iraq before we win and Bush looks prescient” types, and too many “got a good deal on a mortgage or land” types.

Too bad McCain won’t be smart enough to point it out.

Pastor Hagee is NOT AN EXTREMIST! He is an evangelical Christian who founded Christians United For Israel. He is not a Jew Basher or a Catholic basher – this was blown up in the media and presented that way to try to make him equivalent to Wright et al! I have seen the entire sermons in question and they are greatly misrepresented. If someone is not a Christian and is especially not one who looks to the future return of Christ and those end-time prophecies, he/she will have little to no understanding of his statements. It really tees me off when anyone tries to compare Hagee or even Parsley to Wright, Meeks or the great Father Michael of St Sabina!

Good and bad associations are both to be found in almost anyones background … especially those in public life … but in Obama’s case there seems to be a new episode of the “Never-Ending Story” every other day … eventually the preponderance of these questionable ties outnumbering multi-fold the good associations has got to take hold and wake people up …

Maybe not. I read the rest of the article linked above, and the slimebag seems to think he is covered by the new Iraqi amnesty law.

Although, knowing what a long tradition the “rule of law” enjoys in Iraq, he may be toast if he ever goes back.
