Wow. A photo of a table with a sign showing where to put suggestions in a box that is on the table that you can’t see because the photographer avoided and is cropped out, with a garbage can below the table.

This is about as classy as the multiple pictures of Bush’s first attorney general Ashcroft with the naked statue in the background with the statue nipple by his mouth. In both cases, the photographer had to position themselves and crop in the viewfinder to make the shot.

I used to expect more from this website. Now, this is disturbingly becoming the same as the same tactics and humor of the left.

hmm.. well, it was taken by someone in the McCain camp as humor. Doesn’t change the fact that in how the photo is being received. There’s a big difference between being laughed with and being laughed at. The “at” is what is constantly being piled on ad-nauseam.

There’s nothing wrong with poking fun at either of the candidates. Treating politicians like untouchable deities just exacerbates their senses of supreme moral authority over us all.

This picture wasn’t taken for malicious intent, and it’s not something to get that worked up about.

The trash can is at the appropriate spot. One would have ample opportunities to write suggestions…oops, changed my mind…wait, changed my mind, again…etc., etc.

It would fit perfectly with John McCain’s positions on issues, would it not? (All while recycling ideas in the trash. Who, on the staff is assigned to read the discarded suggestions?)

Three times now I have received letters from Juan McCain asking for money. I have always been more than glad to send our Senator a ten centavo coin. Juan Hernandez can always exchange it for him. Would a ten centavo coin be considered a suggestion? That should be $.00969710, spend it wisely Senator. Just a suggestion.

Maybe HIS Friend Ted Spash Kennedy can match my contribution. Just a suggestion.

I am an equal opportunity lampooner. A bi-partisan one, if you will. I guess that makes me a Maverick(!) ^_^

I just don’t understand the anger over something so trivial. This isn’t allegations of McCain calling his wife a reprehensible name. This isn’t something that people can post and say “OMGYOUGUYZ! John McCain throws your suggestions away with his lunch, which is served in a non-biodegradable Styrofoam box! HORRORS!” with any kind of seriousness.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, though. This is the interwebs, after all…
