So, are politicians completely protected when they knowingly spread falsehoods? (I know they can't be held accountable for lying when running a campaign.) So far you have all but one Marine that have been cleared of the false charges leveled at them my this fat piece of excrement. Does the Party of Conscience have the cajones to do anything to this dirtbag? Will the Marines gather together, and file a class action suit against Murtha, the State of Pennsylvania, and the Democrat Party (whom he represents) for slander? Oh, I can't wait to see all the lawyers out there, scrambling to represent these men, pro bono, like they have to represent the Gitmo Islamo-terro-assholes! Yeah, I know...I'll be waiting a l-o-o-n-n-g time. Meanwhile, we can all support Bill Russell in his run at booting this embarrassment to humanity. Go Bill!

This is a long way from being over.

Possible scenarios:
1) the last marine is acquited and the drumbeat of “white-wash” begins
2) the last marine is found guilty, in which case the MSM will trumpet its original indictments, and call the other seven cases a “whitewash”
3) the MSM simply ignores this and invents another Quran in a toilet somewhere and presses forward with its agenda

In any case, the average voter will be subjected to a continuing leftward coverage of the matter and will be none the wiser.
