I have no idea whether or not Emjem is a racist. I think she has an anti-black bias because she makes the effort to bring blacks into a discussion where it isn’t relevant such as in #181. She made the bizarre choice to play the race card instead of simply addressing me as a human being with opinions. In the past, she has stated thing like “Blacks as a whole decided…..”, like we are some monolithic, mindless group. She constantly generalizes. She has a chip on her shoulder based on her experiences teaching black children and dealing with their families, which I believe has resulted in an anti-black bias. No poster brings up black people more than emjem. These are my opinions, and I don’t know her private life, but I have based my opinions on her posts.

Where in the heck did that come from? I failed to find any anti-black bias from emjem24 in this thread. Are you referring to some other thread or did I just miss it?

If you have black 8th grade students, you should seek another assignment. Your anti-black bias, and generalizing won’t do them any favors, and they deserve better.

If you comment on my posts in a way that show that you didn’t read them, I’ll assume you have problems reading, despite your degrees. I don’t always follow perfect paragraph structure here because it’s an effing blog, and I’m often busy. In that way, I’m like plenty of rapid posters here, so you know what you can do with you perfect paragraph structure teacher.

You’re dumb too. My comment was about President Bush not being deserving of credit for going 7 years without getting us attacked. He has helped protect us, and that is his MAIN FREAKING JOB, not something to trumpet. Please learn to read.

You really need to look into your own mirror. For someone who wants us to take Obummer or his wife seriously, your shrill, less than flattering remarks really do you credit. For someone who thinks herself a lawyer, the endless, immature petting of your candidate turns us all off.

For someone who is an intelligent, professional woman, your posts indicate someone who is frustrated, angry, and not possessing anything resembling literacy or basic paragraph structure. I’ve seen better from my 8th grade students. Oh, yes, if possessing both a college and graduate education is “illiterate” then perhaps your legal qualifications need to be reconsidered.

I’ll pass on some advice that I once received from dakine, “you assume way too much.” It is pretty pathetic that for one who accuses me of being illiterate, the attack itself is contained in one continuous passage that really doesn’t address any of my points. Also, since 9/11 was a big deal to most in this country, the fact that Pres. Bush has done his upmost to protect the country means a lot. You seem to be discounting what, to many of us, is a major accomplishment.
