Veepstakes: Pooh-Silky ‘08!
The Congressional Black Caucus forwarded two names to Barack Obama’s veep team: Sam Nunn and John Edwards. (Story at Townhall.) The Nunn pick is in line with what I wrote about the veepstakes in February:
Obama’s pick is a bit more difficult to game out. I think he’d also go for an older “statesman” type to bolster his weak foreign policy/national security credentials. I’m thinking Lee Hamilton. Moderate Democrat. Long resume with experience on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Iraq Study group, Hart-Rudman Commission, the President’s Homeland Security Advisory Council, and, of course, the 9/11 Commission circus.
Nunn would bring weight and gravitas to the ticket.
John Edwards would bring what? Hairspray?
Seriously?
What’s the Congressional Black Caucus thinking? Beats the hell out of me. We won’t look a gift pony in the mouth, though. Pooh-Silky ‘08 is great fodder for the army of Photoshoppers!

Neither one of them will make the Hillary supporters happy. Which mean they may end up voting for McCain. So go ahead Obama and choose one of them.
Sam Nunn is part of the reason why we are bailing out banks, investment banks, and securities dealers with their bad assets being swapped for T-bills i.e. increase of our national debt!

I made the prediction months ago that Silky would get a VP spot.
Hopefully I am wrong.
Usually, I used to ignore the VP candidate before. The VP job, under the Constitution, is a pretty worthless job. But, since the national government has decided that the Constitution is no longer in effect, I suppose I need to look closely at who is running. The new VP may be making policy, in the future…like a co-Presidency, that the msm seems to think we have today.
What is up with “pooh”? Where did that “h” come from?

Gore looks far too animated to be convincing as himself playing a green Tigger.
I still think Obama goes with Jim Webb. But, like so many others, I just want the Kindle from PJM.
I hope the silk-meister gets the nod. He was a miserable companion for the French guy who might have served in Vietnam, and he’ll bring more misery to the Dems in November yet again.
Too bad we have to cheer for poor performance of liberals instead of championing a true conservative.

Pooh-Silky ‘08! The Photoshoppers got that one right. That has pretty much been my opinion of Mr. Channel the Dead.Now I understand why my daughter will not let the kids watch Teletubbies–it’s political!
It’s not going to be Hillary – of that I’m certain. And I hope her followers take that as the snub it will be.
My money is on John Edwards. Let’s see if we can give him a 0-2 record.

Talk about manna from heaven if Silky jumps on the ticket he could (hopefully) be credited for contributing toward two consecutive presidential campaigning loses. Provided we can keep the “grumpy old man” from opening his mouth too much or pandering to the illegal invader lobby. Oh wait! Wasn’t he doing that again in Chicago behind closed doors?

Democraticmarxist policies of the past in a “new” and excitingpackagecolor.Please, please pick Edwards. That would be a slap in the face to Hillary and would enrage her supporters. Plus he presents so many negatives he could only drag the ticket down and brings nothing positive. (Well maybe in the minds of Dems bashing hard-working, succesful Americans is an asset.) He couldn’t even carry his own state.

I despise dems, but there are three that I just cannot stand the very sight of: Al Gore, Harry Reid, and John Edwards. I’ve accepted that Obama has a very good chance of being the next presdient; I just cannot accept the uber-fake and fraudulent pretty boy Edwards being the VP. Yeeecccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…..
