     As it stands John McCain isn’t even making a dent in liberal Seattle neighborhoods judging from all the yard signs/bumper-stickers I have had to put up with. So can you tell me why in the h#ll is he trying to pander to them at all???

     He has already had 3 months to work all kinds of conservatives, and so far the only group he hasn’t pissed off completely is the memebership of the NRA, and even they are wary of him…because of his mixed record…notice they haven’t wildly endorsed him nor have they written him off.

     Moreover some people he has already lost and won’t get back, whereas I am on the fence…and no I haven’t seen anything alleged about John McCAin that hasn’t been proven, with the exception of his supposed comment to his wife that she was a c%^t-that to me is unsubstantiated at this time.

     Your side has more work to do, but John McCain is the guy who is going to make or break your cause, Bill.

     Being the nice guy I am, I will state to you again that I am on the fence with respect to McCain.

     Gee, considering going to Annapolis, becoming an officer in the US Navy, surviving the fire on Forrestal and turning down an offer to go home to fly missions in the Saints, the most decorated attack squadron in the fleet, getting shot down over the most heavily defended target from air attack in human history, spending 5 and a half years in the captivity of savages who repeatedly almost killed him after being offered an opportunity to go home before his fellow POW’s, returning serving in the congress several terms and the senate several terms and allowing his 2 sons to serve the country as well….

     Considering all that one might think that your statement was the product of an ungrateful ignoramus or someone who has REALLY shown their love and dedication to the United states and all of it’s principals. So tell me… What have you done that eclipses his service and dedication? What has Obama done to that end as well?

     LOL, when they do get rebutted SOME folks declare that “the conversation is over” and retreat only to pop up with the same rebutted argument later.

     Nope, the problem is that some of you have bought in to a DNC PR campaign designed to cleave off the hard right wing of the republican party in the mistaken idea that it will make the GOP stronger to lose elections.

     Losing elections doesn’t make a political party stronger. Indeed, electing this dangerous grifter, this appeasing islamist appeaser Barack Obama wont leave a whole lot for ether party to be fighting over once he runs things in to the ground.

     Well, that is of course the paramount concern for all of us.

     His Connection to Richard Armitage? I am not sure it is my role to “explain away” things. I will say that McCain probably hasn’t asked him to for advice on how to keep his mouth shut when talking to reporters. I suppose, at the end of it the question you have to ask yourself is whether or not Armitage leaked deliberately or by accident. If he did it deliberately, even if he was “just following orders” then it was an inherently dishonorable act and should be cut lose. If he misspoke, it was a stupid thing to do but does that negate his previous service and talents? Again, that is your decision.

     I would go on to say that while we are “judging people by the company they keep” let’s not forget Tony Rezko, Nadhmi Auchi. William Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Rashid Khalidi, George Soros, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Michael Pfleger, yada yada yada… but that might not help MO’s kids either. Hope you had a nice weekend.

     I wasn’t asking those entities. Regardless, If things go the way they are going you are probably going to have your alternative to McCain. I wonder if he will pander to the liberals…

     At the rate McCain is going-by his own volition, he may well give us the alternative no one wants.
     Do not put this as “my alternative”, Bill.

     If he gets really stupid and puts on Bloomberg as VP (in order to keep up with Obama’s funding)-the game is over-he’ll be so radioactive no one will touch him. He will be viewed by the “reform” crowd as a phony-since he made his career there with McCain-Feingold and such, and more to that point he will at that point so alienate the NRA ad nauseum-he will become radioactive to probably the only conservative group that hasn’t written him off yet.

     There won’t be a thing you or I could do to save him at that point.
     Hopefully he will not step into that particular “Elephant Trap”….we don’t need anymore problems.

     The election frankly is McCain’s to win or lose-we shall see what happens.

     “Everyone is very happy to have this safely out of Iraq,” said a senior U.S. official who outlined the nearly three-month operation to The Associated Press. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject.

     While yellowcake alone is not considered potent enough for a so-called “dirty bomb” — a conventional explosive that disperses radioactive material — it could stir widespread panic if incorporated in a blast. Yellowcake also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.
