The Obamessiah’s deep humility shines through in his new seal
For such a wonderfully media-savvy candidate, Obama’s graphic artists keep sending up clunkers. Frightening, presumptuous clunkers. Here’s the campaign’s latest, though I don’t know whether Shepard Fairey had a hand in this or not*:
THE GREAT SEAL OF THE OBAMESSIAH
Some bloggers have postulated that it’s too close to the existing Presidential seal, and therefore violates federal law. I don’t think that’s true; examining the Obama seal at high resolution reveals several differences**:
I. Latin motto changed to “VERO POSSUMUS”, which is Latin for “Si, se puede!”
II. Close examination reveals Obama’s seal contains 57 stars;
III. Eagle’s left wing is much stronger;
IV. The arrows in the eagle’s claw have Nerf tips;
V. That’s not an olive branch, but actually arugula in the other claw.
VI. There is no snake in the Obama eagle’s beak. It was thrown under the bus. It was not the snake that Obama’s eagle knew these many years.
Along with hawking his faux-leather bound “historic” speeches, “adapting” the presidential seal is not exactly enhancing the candidate’s reputation for humility, is it?
*Actually, scratch that. I’m sure Fairey did this, and I’ll tell you why. First, look at the Obama PROGRESS poster. See that little Obama logo on the lower right?
Let’s take a closer look:
See the how it’s looking at you like some malevolent panopticon? Yeah, that’s Shep Fairey’s weird-o-rama trademark, based on his OBEY pictures:
There’s a tiny one at the bottom of the CHANGE poster, too. I think he works them in to all his art.
Now look at the seal again. I’m going to zoom in on the Eagle’s wings, right where the oddly overly-defined tendons join the white meat and the Logobama shield:
There’s the Shep Star–legs, wings, head forming the five points, with the hooded eyes looking at you. When you stare into the Obamessiah, the Obamessiah…stares back.
** #1 is accurate–in English, “Truly, we can!” The other items are…nuanced. I figure most of you knew that, but sometimes people come here from Media Matters and they’re kind of slow.

I personally worry that talk of this sort of activity being “arrogant” actually downplays the insidious nature of this.

On first reading, I thought the Latin motto read Nero Possums–an homage to his domestic (rule like Nero) and foreign (play dead like a ‘possum) policies.

The circular center of the seal is particularly ominous…I think they meant it to symbolize a new day dawning, but it could also be a nuclear blast with radiating shockwaves that destroy the world.

I am surprised at the presence of arrows, nerf-tipped or not. I don’t think the man has the brains or guts to understand how to maintain or utilize the most lethal and well-trained force in the entire world. I dread four years of trips to feel-good places (one-year in Bosnia, anyone?) Haiti, Bosnia, Kosovo, cruise-missile strikes, and turning away from any real opportunities (OBL?) or other Clintonian mis-adventures.

What’s interesting is that these swipes crushed Kerry and Gore (and the dwarves before them). They’re not going to stop Obama and they just come across as petty and deranged. Really the only ammunition we have is to strike fear in the hearts of our base, but I don’t even see that working this time.
If McCain were half a man, we’d have something to work with, but he’s Dole-Lite. The lesson: never nominate a candidate with a dead arm. We should have learned last time.

The bulk of Fairey’s work is anarchist, skater punk, One World Government, USA is to blame for the world’s evils, Bush is Satan fare. It all is based off of Russian Socialist Realism, or even more recently North Korean propaganda posters (usually anti-US of course). For those who pay attention, it demonstates once again the quality and persuasion of man that Obama seems instinctively drawn to, whethor it be his “politics as religion” pastor Wright, his “politics through terror (and then education) trust fund bomber friend Ayers, and now his “politics through illustration” choice for a graphic artist.
This kind of stylized, iconic imagery of the Grand Leaders of many a facist or socialist regime have been used before, and when viewed through the lens of history, the ideology behind the propaganda has always been a Hell paved with good intentions.

The easily misled will assume this is visual support for “America for Obama,” when, in fact, the actual statement — which is why (and how) some are being misled — is that this is a statement declaring, “OBAMA FOR AMERICA” — as in, “Obama FORE America,” a strike, a rule, an overlord, to be blunt.
It really is Liberal Fascism. And like all Fascists throughout history, it’s always someone else’s fault when or as Fascists are “outed,” while they rely on continuing to lead the easily misled that there’s a rosey end being offered when, in fact, it’s a cliff edge they’re being led to with bad intents afterward.
Obama’s politics as also his campaign’s, is an ANTI-AMERICA, an AGAINST America, an “other than” (or “chaaaange”) America, a “new America” that means, literally, another country not America.
Thus, their continued invasive use and abuse of all that America references and holds dear. It’s not going to stop, it’s going to get more acute in the near time and more AMERICANS need to realize what “this” is: an enemy.

A key aspect to “Black Liberation, uh, ‘theology’” is that Blacks/racists have to be first separated then elevated to a superior position. Note the “separaist” first requirement. J. Wright lies patently when saying on television broadcasts that he/what he subscribes to is NOT “supremacy” or “anything elevating anyone above anyone else,” becuase it’s a key aspect of the so-called “theology” he insists upon.
And it has nothing, actually, to do with “Black people” — human beings of a certain DNA variety — but IS about A POLIITIC that denigrates the West, Capitalism, democracy, our nation and our nation’s history of “White” majority. So it is RACISM but I don’t consider it to be reflective of “Black human beings” so much as a strand of such radical Socialist politics that seems to use the easiest area of human pscyhe to emotionally traumatize and “activate” and that is racial prejudice.
But these politics have shaped Obama and what he’s now attempting to popularize n the U.S. to the demise OF the U.S. as it’s been known up to now (thus, the new country he’s advocating isn’t what we are but something he and handlers/associates have in mind that is “counter America”, thus, the “change” repetition). It’s radical Socialism.
A statement by Obama that has been — imagine this — utterly ignored by the media was what Obama declared only about two months ago (in the recent months, not too long ago):
When the issue of his religion was raised, after the Wright and Pfleger eruptions (around about the time Obama threw “the church” membership under the bus), Obama declared: “I don’t care about anyone who criticises my religion.”
Shouldn’t that tell any observant person all they need to know about this greasy guy? I mean by that, if he doesn’t “care” about (millions of human beings worldwide who pose reasonable inquiries into and about dubious aspects to his life), what can we expect were this guy to ever have “executive powers.”
It’s a remark that is very telling about this guy’s mind and spirit and what it tells me is he’s reckless and has “mean” bubbling right under the surface.
Yes, that’s what we’re told to expect.
Anti-Christ appears as: surrounded by great wealth (Obama, done that); youthful and attractive (Obama, done that); charismatic (Obama, done that); magnetic speaker who promotes “peace” (Obama, done that); and after he misleads millions of people, he will reveal who he actually is by “world domination” that brings immense suffering upon humanity (doom).
On a crude, jarring note here, I just watched a rebroadcast of a crime show about maniac murderer Ted Bundy. For about 3/4 of the broadcast, the show included many statements by many individuals who described Bundy as “handsome, charismatic, someone (they) expected great things of…” who they later realized had “fooled everyone” by “his charm, intelligence and (how ‘well he dressed’), appearance.”
A lot of people are easily misled by theatrical appearances and presentations, is the point, think “looking good” means someone IS “good,” when reality has shown repeatedly that that is not a reliable equation.
I’m surprised this was even made. I don’t see how this is helping Mama O!’s kids.

Cadillac Deval Patrick stole the phrase “Yes we can!” from ‘Bob the Builder’. Because it helped to put that nincompoop with no plan at all into office, (compared to Muffy who published a concise 50 point plan on her web site), Obama is obliged to use the same phrase but just in disquise hoping that I won’t notice. They are all just so incapable of coming up with any actual new ideas of their own.
Don’t be surprised if Obama next says he’s going to be crucified.

Obama claims to judge things in a superior way. I’ve read comments elsewhere that Obama may not have noticed his Great Seal of Barack. Can anyone look at this picture, or this picture, and explain how he could have missed it?
Translating Obama
Literally, it means “in truth to be able.” Which is not even close to, YES! WE CAN.
But like most things Obama, the translation never seems to mean (in plain English) what they tell us it does.
This silly seal really translates into more of his “bitter people, clinging to their God and guns” philosophy. There is a basic distrust, uneasiness, and probably dislike of traditional Americans and “their” traditions. Translating “Coming Together,” looks like it’s going to mean, “join my way or be considered part of the old evil ways.”
