YES! The ultimate Obama endorsement! (UPDATED)

By see-dubya  •  June 22, 2008 02:15 PM

Charles at LGF links to this report at the American-based OneFreeKorea, which is a good site I’ve seen linking here a few times. I’m going to wait to light the cigar until it gets verified a little more and we see the whole translated text, but it looks like we’ve got another tyrant endorsement:

The Chosun Sinbo, the mouthpiece of North Korea’s Japanese front organization Chongryon and often for the North Korean regime itself, has announced its preference for Obama over McCain, whom it calls “a variant of Bush” and “nothing better than a scarecrow of neoconservatives,” which is a bit odd considering that the Bush Administration’s giveaway diplomacy is better for Kim Jong Il than even Clinton’s awful performance.

Castro we knew about, and Qaddafi chimed in just the other day, but Kim Jong Il?

I wasn’t expecting that.

Take me now, Lord. My life as a blogger is complete.

The Obamessiah must ask himself once again: Why do all these anti-American tyrants keep s…um, endorsing my candidacy?

____________

UPDATE: Commenter Tennyson, who did the wonderful Snobama and Arugula posters, jumps on this one:

tennysonroneryendorsement.png

Also, OneFreeKorea has updated their link above with a translation of the Korean press release. It’s even more delicious than I had hoped, because it emphasizes the endorsement stems from Obama’s willingness to meet Mr. Ronery sans preconditions:

We will see a better relationship between the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula with Obama, who sternly criticizes Bush and who would meet the leader of Chosun without pre-conditions, than with the “Bush clone” and scarecrow of the neocons McCain.

Come on, Osama, your turn…you know you’ve got one tape left in you…

Kim Jong Il? You mean the guy who launched Nodong-2 missiles into the East Sea to celebrate the Independence of the United States on July 4th, 2006? Kim is a true patriot and I’m so happy he endorsed the junior senator from Illinois.

I only hope if Obama is elected he’ll give me a job clipping the White House lawn with a pair of scissors; just like Il does with his subjects in the beautiful country of North Korea.

Now, N. Korea dispatches its cherished endorsement to the democrat ticket in the form of Barack Obama.

It seems to me that democrat party groundwork is beginning to pay off.

This appears to be a variant of the “it doesn’t matter what you do but what you are” line regarding the mental state of those who hate us. Hardly anyone seems to grasp this — other than our astute enemies — that Obama is much closer to what they are, then Bush is, no matter what he does.

I wish this endorsement would have an impact — pardon my cognitive dissonance, but I want Obama to lose while having no desire to see McCain win — but it won’t. It should have an impact, but by now we all realize Obama the Inevitable could be endorsed by Satan himself backed up by dancing demons, and while everyone of the right would shout with joy, not a single MSM sycophant would have second thoughts nor a single supporter of the big O change their mind.

    Man, I really hate this.

Of course, as entitlements grow, so called discretionary spending, mainly defense, will continue to drop, and the choices about what programs to fund will get harder and harder. The Democrats health care entitlement will cost so much, it’ll be near impossible to restore the military after the Obamunist guts it.

If Mrs. Malkin has made you the co-pilot, you are entitled to post what you want.

McCain is a very disappointing choice, who won the nomination by having the undivided Dem crossover vote in the early open primaries when the four or five conservative/pseudo conservative candidates split the base vote.

But me, I like the bronchitis versus lung cancer analogy. Electing the RINO is bronchitis, electing the communist is lung cancer. Some common symptoms, but one is a lot worse. People usually survive bronchitis, people rarely survive lung cancer.

And it is everyone’s right as an American voter to cast a ballot for a protest candidate like Barr, but we’re getting either bronchitis or we’re getting lung cancer in January 2009.

I’d think even elderly billionaires would fare badly with a communist as POTUS and a pliant Congress approving his agenda.

Of course, if one’s fortune is already made, and one follows the model of taxing work and production, not money already held, one could be like Ted Kennedy with an inherited fortune and not worry about socialism.

Except why would he think Obama would stop at raising income and capital gains taxes. The death tax is coming back, and a luxury tax on high value items seems quite possible.

The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just.

If you criticize McCain because you want him to change some of his more left wing positions (and advisors), it does not mean you support Obama. It means you want him to take more common sense positions that will make him more electable in November. McCain does not change his positions very often but he has on a few things like drilling off our coast and enforcing the border first (at least he says he got the message.) So keep on trying to help him see the light.

At the time it seemed odd that Obama would be so worked up over a few crude cassette tapes. It is becoming clear. Senator pee pee pants fears the Osama-Obama endorsement. He said the presidency was not unlike running a business.

“They say in the stock market, ‘Buy into a business that’s doing so well an idiot could run it, because sooner or later, one will,’” Buffett said. “The U.S. is sort of like that. I think the country will do fine whether it’s the Democratic or Republican candidate, but I strongly prefer the Democrats.”

info on those two scarf girls from the Obama rally the other day:

Debbie Schlussel has done some great research to reveal who these two girls are

One of the girls, Hebba Aref, was an officer of the Muslim Student Association when she attended the University of Michigan in Dearborn, the Muslim capital of the US. This Muslim Student Association, by the way, was identified by the Chicago Tribune as “part of the American manifestation of the Sunni terrorist group, Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen

The other girl, Shimaa Abdelfadeel was the chair of an organization called SAFE at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Back in 2002, her organization hosted a Divestment Conference against Israel. To give you an idea of what kind of conference this was, the crowds’ favorite chant was apparently “Annihilate the Jews!” Oh and the keynote speaker was a man by the name of Sami Al-Arian, who is a convicted Islamic terrorist. Some of Abdelfadeel’s work here

The reaction from many in 2004 was “we don’t care what anybody on foreign soil thinks about our election!”

Catherine Seipp’s article on National Review is here

    Other reaction was this:

Shame on you for using the people of Ohio like this. The US presidental election isn’t just about foreign policy, it’s about healthcare, taxes, education, transportation, natural resources and all manner of issues with little to no impact on the people of Britain.

We live in a globalised, interconnected world. If China shuts its borders to US imports, you better believe American companies, shareholders and workers are affected. Should US citizens therefore have a direct say in Chinese policies? No - Americans should demand that their own elected leaders address the issues with their Chinese counterparts. The British have a similar voice in US policies - through your own elected representatives who have any number of diplomatic, economic and military tools at their disposal. You vote for your leaders and we’ll vote for ours. Your problem is with your leaders, not ours.

In all seriousness, is there anything that would change the mind of the typical Obama supporter? I’d love to see how folks would answer that poll question. Because even with this issue, his supporters would probably say things like, “Oh, well, world leaders, both friend and foe alike, like Obama more than McCain because he’s open to conversation, to dialogue versus confrontation. This is another reason to like Obama more than McCain. Of course, Obama isn’t an advocate for all these leaders may do or say, but don’t you see, that if they’re willing to talk with Obama that progress can be made?” Being Obama’s PR guy must be kinda fun: you’re doing nothing by leading a bunch of mindless sheep. They call themselves “enlightened.” If “enlightenment” is to give up on reason, they can keep it.

In the past few elections, I find it disturbing that there is nearly a 50/50 split across America between the “left” and the “right”. It further disturbs that the left bonds to the left candidate in spite of things like the KJI endorsement and other socialist world leaders from the moonbat planets. How can this be? To suggest they actually think and reason their votes for America’s future invokes their usual fingers in the ears “la la la la, I’m not listening to you!” reaction. God help us. Half of us are too stupid to help themselves. What’s even more disturbing, that other half got help from a significant portion of our half and gave Billy Jeff a second term inspite of his absolute and obvious and HOWLING incompetence. God help us. I’m praying that somehow we baby-boomers can give our children, now grown, an improved America from what we have allowed her to degenerate into. Our “World War II Generation” parents didn’t give us the America we have now. We took what they gave us and screwed it up, badly. We of the “if it feels good, do it” generation. We of the “do unto others, then split!” generation. We of the “I did not have sex with that woman” generation. I’ve got 2 months seniority on Billy Jeff as a baby-boomer and that ain’t no badge of honor. We are now “paying the piper”. What goes around, comes around. The chickens are turning on “final approach”.

What also disturbs me is that the “Christians” that vote Democrat have no problem with a candidate (BHO) who invokes the “Lord” from the pulpit on Sunday and on Monday is standing with planned parenthood telling them he will ensure there will be abortions - no holds barred - and will make sure he signs federal legislation thereby circumventing the states right to govern. That will set precedence for the 2nd amendment as well and he will systematically destroy the constitution.
