YES! The ultimate Obama endorsement! (UPDATED)
Charles at LGF links to this report at the American-based OneFreeKorea, which is a good site I’ve seen linking here a few times. I’m going to wait to light the cigar until it gets verified a little more and we see the whole translated text, but it looks like we’ve got another tyrant endorsement:
The Chosun Sinbo, the mouthpiece of North Korea’s Japanese front organization Chongryon and often for the North Korean regime itself, has announced its preference for Obama over McCain, whom it calls “a variant of Bush” and “nothing better than a scarecrow of neoconservatives,” which is a bit odd considering that the Bush Administration’s giveaway diplomacy is better for Kim Jong Il than even Clinton’s awful performance.
Castro we knew about, and Qaddafi chimed in just the other day, but Kim Jong Il?
I wasn’t expecting that.

Also, OneFreeKorea has updated their link above with a translation of the Korean press release. It’s even more delicious than I had hoped, because it emphasizes the endorsement stems from Obama’s willingness to meet Mr. Ronery sans preconditions:
We will see a better relationship between the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula with Obama, who sternly criticizes Bush and who would meet the leader of Chosun without pre-conditions, than with the “Bush clone” and scarecrow of the neocons McCain.

All of the tyrant nations want to endorse Obama because they know how much he will help them out. He will weaken the U.S. in such a way that destroying us will be a cake walk.
It would be nice to see that the major communist dictators are endorsing Obama along with the pro socialist - media. I can’t stand McCain but I would rather have him that Obama.

This appears to be a variant of the “it doesn’t matter what you do but what you are” line regarding the mental state of those who hate us. Hardly anyone seems to grasp this — other than our astute enemies — that Obama is much closer to what they are, then Bush is, no matter what he does.
I wish this endorsement would have an impact — pardon my cognitive dissonance, but I want Obama to lose while having no desire to see McCain win — but it won’t. Of course, as entitlements grow, so called discretionary spending, mainly defense, will continue to drop, and the choices about what programs to fund will get harder and harder. McCain is a very disappointing choice, who won the nomination by having the undivided Dem crossover vote in the early open primaries when the four or five conservative/pseudo conservative candidates split the base vote.
But me, I like the bronchitis versus lung cancer analogy. Electing the RINO is bronchitis, electing the communist is lung cancer. Some common symptoms, but one is a lot worse. People usually survive bronchitis, people rarely survive lung cancer.

If you criticize McCain because you want him to change some of his more left wing positions (and advisors), it does not mean you support Obama. It means you want him to take more common sense positions that will make him more electable in November. McCain does not change his positions very often but he has on a few things like drilling off our coast and enforcing the border first (at least he says he got the message.) So keep on trying to help him see the light.

All I’m saying is that I don’t think it is fair to ask someone to edit their own sense of humor in their writing - different people find different things funny - it’s just too hard to be PC in reflecting one’s personal sense of satire when the standards of what’s acceptable and what’s not, are so subjective and contrary to free speech.

Post #98 gets a great big AIN’T IT THE TRUTH from me. I still have a huge hurt in my heart caused by the 60’s and 70’s protesters who IMHO ruined this great nation with their ME FIRST attitude.
I’m losing hope that we can regain any of our lost glory as a nation.

What also disturbs me is that the “Christians” that vote Democrat have no problem with a candidate (BHO) who invokes the “Lord” from the pulpit on Sunday and on Monday is standing with planned parenthood telling them he will ensure there will be abortions - no holds barred - and will make sure he signs federal legislation thereby circumventing the states right to govern. That will set precedence for the 2nd amendment as well and he will systematically destroy the constitution.
