Obama clubs Seal

By see-dubya  •  June 23, 2008 03:59 PM

Via Ace, it looks like that baby-blue sucker’s under the bus. Here’s Ken Wheaton at Advertising Age:

While we don’t have full details, someone at Obama’s press center, when asked if the seal would be used going forward said simply, “No.” There were still a number of vaguely presidential-seal screensavers available at the Obama website, though.

Wheaton thinks they managed to pull it before any permanent damage was done to the Obama inevitable juggernaut, and I think he’s probably right. He’s learned to skip the step where he says “I could no more renounce that seal than I could renounce my (insert family member)” and cut straight to the renouncing.

Haven’t heard any reactions to the Kim Jong Il endorsement yet.

The way I see MM’s web site: any sin by any Democrat is a reason to vote Republican forever. Nevermind that the people you’re saying to vote for are worse, by most of your own standards — patriotism, Christian values, integrity — than the ones you say to vote against.
