What the McCain campaign doesn’t need

By Michelle Malkin  •  June 24, 2008 09:36 AM

Rich Lowry at NRO believes John McCain needs a new advisor such as Bill Kristol to help him focus on the “big picture” and end his constant zig-zagging on issues.

With all due respect, adding another Beltway political strategist to the McCain camp isn’t going to fix an un-fixable the problem. It’s not fundamentally flawed messaging, it’s a fundamentally flawed candidate. The sooner Republicans reconcile themselves to that, the better.

Meanwhile, as Ed Driscoll notes, the endless series of unforced errors by the Obama gaffe machine is being squandered. A damned shame.

… he’s little more than a Paulian troll.

Same thing goes for whangtight up there, who is making it his business to promote the Constitution party here at MM.

Ron Paul was the CPs’ candidate, for those who are not sure what I’m referring to here.

If you see anyone promoting the Constitution party at least in THIS election cycle, you can be pretty certain that you’re dealing with a disgruntled Paulian. They’re obsessed with the idea of a third party, and trolling forums like this one to spread discontent and promote their cause is their modus operandi.

Other than her friend Bill, is there anyone here that she hasn’t attacked?

And Bill… you can see how they were just laying in wait on this thread, waiting for someone to arrive so that they could pick up right where they left off.

The first abusive response came back just minutes after my arrival here this morning, see? Just as I knew that it would.

Trolling… it’s what they live for. And when they accuse others of trolling it’s pure projection, nothing more.

Some people really need to get a life.

Why don’t the two of you take it to your own website?

    It is very odd.

That’s why I asked the question that will now obviously not get answered.

Just FYI: When you learn a new word like “projection” it is often best not to use it in every other sentence. You are probably best off sticking with the phrases you already know like: “Would you like fries with that”?

This was never a thread about that. Obviously. There seems to be little interest here in a Republican victory in 08.

Witless man and Irish Rose – When I first came here I noticed that most anti-McCain people were simply posting their opinion, sans invective towards any other posters.

Before I even began posting I noticed the two of you and many other pro-McCain folks continually hectoring, insulting, casting aspersions toward and condemning those who simply posted their intent not to vote for McCain.

People finally started throwing the insults backatcha and now you claim victimhood. Boo-freakin-Hoo. You’re being insulted because YOU INSULT.

Witless Man – That fits you to a TEE. Your questions have been answered a THOUSAND times. You completely ignore the answers and refuse to even ATTEMPT to understand the arguments against McCain. You don’t want discourse, you just want to ATTACK. So be it. Carry on.

Why don’t some of you McCainiacs actually READ what the rest of us are saying and ATTEMPT to understand that we are doing what we believe to be the best in the long run for our country. Just because you can’t comprehend what we’re saying doesn’t mean anything other than you have a comprehension deficit disorder.

For those of you who keep sqeaking about finding better conservative candidates, THERE WON’T BE ANY as long as people like YOU keep voting for candidates like McCain.

    Uhangtight said it very eloquently.

I, for one, am completely out of patience for you ‘lessor of two evil’ drones.
