Even Bigger Outrage–Mexican soldiers hitmen arrested for murdering man in his Phoenix, Arizona home
If you thought this was bad, wait till you see this.
The suspects may have been hired by drug cartels to perform home invasions and assassinations in the U.S.
Police reports show that three men arrested in a Phoenix home invasion and homicide Monday may have been active members of the Mexican Army.
Full tactical gear, AR-15s, 50-100 rounds burped off at the victim’s house (who was suspected to be a marijuana dealer) and alleged plans to “ambush” any Phoenix PD officers who tried to stop them.
When the Wall Street Journal says, “Let there be open borders”, is this what they had in mind?
Forget the fence for just a second and think about this:
The Mexican Army has made several incursions across our Southern border. Some were probably just units getting lost, some had a more sinister reason behind them…but given the recruitment of elite military assassination squads by the cartels, this should be seen as a serious problem.
It would be overstating the problem to say that “the Mexican military is invading us”. But there is a criminal, militarized element that is crossing the border with impunity and distressing regularity, and for nefarious purposes.
Why is President Bush pulling the National Guard off the border? Granted, there have been some problems, but why should we leave potential combat with a militarized incursion to the Border Patrol?
Okay, now think about the fence again. Real, please, not virtual.
_______________
UPDATE: That Fox item linked above (and the AZ Republic) is saying they weren’t active Mexican soldiers, but that one had received military training. So, okay, nothing to worry about then. Just business as usual. Six trained hitmen in a Tahoe full of AR 15s and tactical gear can drive across the “border” and kill a guy in his house in Phoenix and expect to get away with it.
No problem here. Everybody go back to sleep.

I went to both public and private schools and in case you didn’t know it, the popular vote in each state determines who gets that state’s electoral votes. Did you go to one of those LaRaza magnet schools or something?
#92 & #93
I’m a conservative and I understand where you’re coming from. The last two (presidential) elections I voted for the major candidate I thought was the lesser of two evils and you know what I got? Gigantic government, massive spending and debt that would make the most liberal politician proud. All under the lesser of two evils GWB & a republican congress.(pre 06) John McCain is to the left of Dubya on just about everything… IMO a conservative voting for McCain is a vote for a continued move to the left by the republican party sanctioned by conservatives.
Exactly how bad do you think it can get with a Dem Congress, Dem president and Dem SC appointees? We might have a bigger government, spending and debt, but how do you think Obama would have reacted to 9/11? Do you think a bunch of Obama’s appointees would have determined the second amendment to be an individual right? Think you’re paying taxes now, just wait. Unless you’re making less than $50,000/year Obama thinks you’re rich and they just love to tax the rich. Gas prices too high? Wait until they add another fifty cent gas tax. Did I say fifty cents? I’d guess a little higher so we can combat global warming.
Long story short. It can get a heck of a lot worse than a McCain presidency.
Why is anyone surprised? They have the FULL support of Jorge Bush and Juan McVain , not to mention most of the entire congress. Guess what folks–the Wild Wild West is back …and some greedy pigs are profitting from it!
I will NEVAH,EVAH vote for McCain…if he even lives long enough to be on the ballot….And his domestic policy is as bad if not worse than Obama..They both suck so bad they have put the ciizens of this country into a morose depression.
And if you voted for someone else, and Al Gore would have been elected president, not GWB, how would have the US responded to the attacks on 9/11? I can only imagine what this country would look like after 4 years of Al Gore. (if you think that McCain is on the wrong issue with global warming) as one of many examples. Do you think that the greater of two evils would have been a better choice than the lesser?
.. or the lesser of two evils was not supported 4 years later and we would have had President John Kerry from 2004 to 2008. What would Iraq look like today if we left them to the terrorists? Without the surge that the democrats soundly rejected because it came from Bush, Iraq is much closer to being less chaotic and they are struggling to fight off the people who want to destroy what they have and replace it with a terrorist friendly nation state.
A lot of people wanted to punish George Bush’s father for his reneging on his ‘no new taxes’ pledge and wanted to not reward a more liberal republican with the hopes of bring out more conservative candidates. And like I said earlier, we were rewarded with 8 years of the clintons and then Bush’s son was elected president. So how did that work out for them?
A vote for mccain is not a vote to continued move to the left. If you want to have a better conservative, then you need to vote for a more conservative candidate in the primary. And a more conservative candidate needs to do a much better job than any of these people this time to attract more voters so they will succeed.
You do know Gore won the popular vote, right?
There are more conservative people on the presidential ballot than John McCain, fyi.

And I spent half the day arguing with you?
Why the hell didn’t you tell me you were an idiot in the first place?
mee-haw…
Were those were the lyrics before Johnny Cash changed them to “But I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die
When I hear that whistle blowing, I hang my head and cry…”?
NONE of whom stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected. What the hell do you care about conservatives any way? You voted for RALPH fricking NADER.
(I was lectured today. lamely I might add, on conservative principles by someone who voted for Ralph Nader.)
Again, if you want Obama that is your business, it is your freedom of choice.
Just don’t kid yourselfstop pretending you are voting that way out of conservative principles. So, you’re insulted because somebody challenged you when you’re “speaking your mind”? Coming from you, this is really a joke. You can barely type a sentence without unloading an hysterical screed at anybody who disagrees with you. You definitely aren’t winning any hearts and minds for your hero, McCainiac.
First of all, I never said that my principles are conservative ones, nor have I ever called myself a conservative; you are the one ascribing conservative principles to me. I said that I vote based on my principles. Those principles are libertarian. Some of them are shared with conservatives, in theory. But regardless of the logical fallacies you try to bring to the discussion, regardless of the namecalling, etc., I’ll be voting for a candidate who best reflects my values. You won’t be able to say that.
Now, supposedly you and the other McCainaanites are conservatives, as you proudly declare. Now someone just said that the time to vote for a more conservative candidate was in the primary. While that is true, it is also true that there are more conservative people on the presidential ballot. If you and your ilk didn’t put party over principle, maybe a conservative would be elected.
US elections are not won or lost by the popular vote.
You do know that, right?
As I stated before, moonbat, yes I will. I will vote for John McCain, a good man who has demonstrated his patriotism, fiscal responsibility and unwillingness to surrender to islamist terrorists. I will then do my best to hold his feet to the fire if he moves away from his promises on immigration.
I am not sacrificing my conservative principals at all. I recognize that there is no such thing as the conservative equivalent of a nanny state and no matter who I help elect it will take me making a fuss after the fact to keep them honest.
In short I am happy with my choice: Vote McCain, keep Obama out, stay on the codger’s case.
The main thing I am happy about is NOT SUPPORTING OBAMA.
Maybe a gorilla will parachute out of an asteroid and hand me a check for a bazillion dollars too. The fact is there are 2 viable candidates in this race. One would have thought you had learned all about this by now…
Uh, yeah. That was my point. Therefore, your “point” that Gore would or could have been elected if the poster had voted for someone else is invalid since Gore won the popular vote. Capiche?
Good grief you’re something else.
Lied about me.
When losing ground and finding oneself unable to reasonably articulate and defend one’s point of view or intelligently respond to an opposing point of view, be sure to resort to namecalling.
You’ve got that down that pat.
It really doesn’t seem to make much sense wasting any more time with this “khan” person any more. And it’s also clear what he wants from this conservative website and the people who comment here.
Humm
You can dish it out but you can’t take it. Particularly galling is being called a RINO by someone who has stated that they aren’t even a republican. How is this for a name: hypocrite.
It’s aggravating. I don’t think he is on anyones payroll because he is too wacky but the divide and conquer thing is something that the democratic underground is doing. He is probably even too wacky even for them.
seems like the left’s operation chaos perpetrated onto us is far more effective than Rush Limbaugh even dreamed up against the democrats.
By “something else”, I presume you mean correct. I accept your apology.
Gore didn’t win the popular vote in Florida, or else he would have had the electoral votes. We live in a democratic republic, not a true democracy. Gli capisco più.
Exactly! I’ve been laughing all evening about this. We spent all this time arguing with a certifiable loon???
In this case, khan doesn’t even realize it! Priceless!
We’ve been khaned.

Check your ego. I was talking to wise_man, not you.
Please forgive my faux pas. Your post was incoherent and incorrect, so naturally, I thought it was directed at me.
BWA! Can I stand in line next to you? This I gotta see. The bazillion dollars wouldn’t hurt either.
gorillas cannot be subjected to that sort of tomfoolery.
you’re an animal.
/sarc
And one more reassuring thought…the perps were dressed in Phoenix police raid gear and shirts. There, now I feel safer.
30, anyone who uses the term ‘tomfoolery’ is a friend of mine! I also like ‘guttersnipe’. Ah…good times.
wighttrasch,
I have yet another e-friend. Today’s a good day.
The “people” in Washington DC, need someone to interpret the writing on the wall for them.
OKAY, I VOLUNTEER, I’LL DO IT.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON - DANGER !!
Chertoff, and Condi should both be fired for not protecting these United States. Instead, they are doing POTUS’s bidding, and will get a tax payer bonus and a promotion.
I guess all three are really agents for Mexico, and the North American Union.
Arm yourselves.
This is Texas. We’re way ahead of you. Even the diehards here learned to arm themselves when the Feds came in and started attacking fringe religious groups.
txvet2,
Arm yourselves is for civilian pukes that do not know what to do when monsters come calling.
I suspect, you do not need to be reminded to have your BDU’s, H-harness, cover, gloves, and boots with polish on them ready to be put on when trouble shows up. I bet you have a squared away haircut, and a squared away yard. So, when you see me write these things it is not for hard chargers like you.
Thank you for your service to our country.
Over.
BTW, I live in Texas too.
How can you tell whether they are Mexican army, Mexican police or drug cartel hitmen? It’s not like you can’t be all of the above at the same time.
Another round of the usual 3rd party whining from Paulians, “North American Union” conspiracy theorists, and anti-McCain animus from pissed off members of the disenfranchised right, I see.
For those who are wondering what I mean about “North American Union” conspiracy theorists, this site should tell you everything you need to know to understand that movement.
And is that a photo on the left one that I saw posted here at MM a while back by our hostess? Why yes, I think it is!
It’s taken me some time to figure out where all the raw, anti-Mexican hatred and reflexive, obsessive ranting about the constitution from people like Ombre Rose is coming from.
Wonder no more.
