San Francisco’s illegal alien drug dealer shuttle service
Hope you pay close attention to what San Francisco’s illegal alien sanctuary policy has wrought. Over the weekend, the SFChronicle reported that open-borders radicals in the city’s juvenile probation department are shielding Honduran illegal alien drug dealers from prosecution and deportation by providing them a taxpayer-subsidized escort and plane ride back to their home country–where they can promptly turn around and re-enter the U.S. with impunity. It’s the San Fran illegal alien drug kingpin shuttle service. All in the name of “family reunification” and protecting the “youths,” of course! The feds and the city are pointing fingers. Nobody will admit how many illegal alien drug dealers have received the free ride home and then returned.
Meantime, outlaw sanctuary cities go unpunished. ACLU-friendly judges refuse to side with the rule of law. The White House has stood by and done nothing as San Francisco flagrantly thumbs its nose at federal immigration laws–and openly advertises its sanctuary status. How many other illegal thugs in how many other sanctuary cities are enjoying such perks?
San Francisco juvenile probation officials - citing the city’s immigrant sanctuary status - are protecting Honduran youths caught dealing crack cocaine from possible federal deportation and have given some offenders a city-paid flight home with carte blanche to return.
The city’s practices recently prompted a federal criminal investigation into whether San Francisco has been systematically circumventing U.S. immigration law, according to officials with knowledge of the matter.
Well, duh.
San Francisco juvenile authorities have been grappling for several years with an influx of young Honduran immigrants dealing crack in the Mission District and Tenderloin.
Those who are arrested routinely say they are minors, but police suspect that many are actually adults, living communally in Oakland and other cities at the behest of drug traffickers who claim to be their relatives.
Nonetheless, city authorities have typically accepted the suspects’ stories and handled the cases in Juvenile Court, where proceedings are often shielded from public scrutiny…
…San Francisco police doubt that many of the young Hondurans they arrest on drug charges are even juveniles. Police can report suspected adult illegal immigrants to federal authorities if they commit a crime, said Capt. Tim Hettrich, until recently the head of the narcotics unit. So immigrant drug dealers “pass themselves off as juveniles, with a three-day growth of beard and everything else. It’s frustrating,” he said.
“Some of them have been arrested four or five times,” Hettrich said. “That is one of the big problems with being a city of sanctuary.” He scoffed at San Francisco’s strategy of returning the offenders to their home country. “They probably get the round trip and the next day, they will be right back here,” Hettrich said.
Illegal alien criminals across the country play the “I’m a minor” game all the time. Sound familiar? Here’s the story I blogged last month about the illegal alien murder convict in D.C. who initially told authorities that he was 21, then asserted that he was 16 and challenged the propriety of being charged with murder as an adult.
Murderous Honduran drug cartels have clueless liberals like this to thank for booming business:
William Siffermann, chief of San Francisco’s Juvenile Probation Department, said federal agents have never specifically told his office not to send immigrants back to their home countries, but that he has stopped the practice until differences between the city and immigration authorities are resolved.
He said the city’s stance is that it does not have to report illegal immigrant minors to the federal government, even if they are found in Juvenile Court to have committed a crime. “We are not obligated to,” he said. “We are abiding by the sanctuary city ordinance.”
…Siffermann stressed that the city ships out juvenile offenders to their home countries only after all other rehabilitative efforts have failed, including probation, foster care and juvenile detention.
The strategy is appropriate, Siffermann said, because deporting young offenders would doom them from ever becoming productive residents of the United States. “It might prevent them from obtaining citizenship,” he said, denying them a chance to “take a different course.”

Patricia Lee, head of the San Francisco public defender’s juvenile branch, would not comment on pending cases. But, she said, “a lot of the young people have suffered a lot of abuse, abandonment and neglect in their native country and have been used as (drug-running) mules. There is lot of victimization and trafficking of these young people.”

Speaking of which, you can count on more of the same bloody sanctuary crap from the La Raza Twin Powers , who both pandered to Latino officials this weekend. Not a word from McCain about how sanctuary laws are endangering all Americans and law-abiding residents (it’s a subject he has little interest in). Instead, he said this:

I and many other colleagues twice attempted to pass comprehensive immigration legislation to fix our broken borders; ensure respect for the laws of this country; recognize the important economic necessity of immigrant laborers; apprehend those who came here illegally to commit crimes; and deal practically and humanely with those who came here, as my distant ancestors did, to build a better, safer life for their families, without excusing the fact they came here illegally or granting them privileges before those who did. Many Americans, with good cause, did not believe us when we said we would secure our borders, and so we failed in our efforts. We must prove to them that we can and will secure our borders first, while respecting the dignity and rights of citizens and legal residents of the United States. But we must not make the mistake of thinking that our responsibility to meet this challenge will end with that accomplishment. We have economic and humanitarian responsibilities as well, and they require no less dedication from us in meeting them.
John McCain, meet Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution:
“The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion…”
Oh, and elsewhere in San Francisco, three more innocent victims suffered the inhumane, bloody consequences of the city’s illegal alien sanctuary ordinance:
A suspected gang member charged with killing a father and two of his sons after a minor traffic incident has been ordered held without bail. Twenty-one-year-old Edwin Ramos of El Sobrante is accused of killing 48-year-old Tony Bologna, and his sons Michael and Matthew after the Bologna’s car blocked Ramos’ car from making a turn onto a narrow San Francisco street. Authorities say Tony Bologna put his car in reverse to let Ramos pass, and Ramos and his sons were gunned down.
Police say Ramos is a member of the Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13, gang. Immigration authorities say they believe Ramos is in the country illegally and could try to deport him once the case is resolved.
Too little, too late.
How many more frequent flyer Honduran drug lords and dead motorists does San Francisco need to see before its citizens demand a repeal of the bloody illegal alien sanctuary policy?

The first human inhabitants of what is now Arizona were the “Paleo-Indian” peoples that came across from Siberia in the ice age … they were nomadic tribes that migrated south following the wild game and occupied the American Southwest from as far back as 9500 B.C. and were the precursors to many of the modern American Indian Tribes … The first “civilized” people to inhabit the Phoenix Valley were the Ho Ho Kam Indians from 300 A.D. to 1500 A.D. … they were so advanced that even today the agricultural canals that criss-cross the Phoenix Valley follow many of the same paths as the canals these people built to bring water to arid areas for growing crops …

And William Siffermann, chief of San Francisco’s Juvenile Probation Department, thinks that’s a good reason not to imprison crack dealers? Is he one of their customers? His logic suggests that he is.
OK folks so what can we DO about sanctuary cities?
I do think an amendment to the Constitution is in order to allow “summary” treatment of aliens, particularly the illegal variety.
And the MS-13s should be treated as terrorists under the Military Commissions Act; Mara Salvatrucha should be declared a terrorist group and dealt with accordingly
I saw the first story at ALIPAC late last night, read some references there about the earlier killings in SF, and sent both stories in as tips.
I was hoping to see this double whammy up front here as a testament to the idiocy of Shamnesty and all that goes with it - I can only hope that sanctuary policies bite some politicians in the a$$ this November!

Solution - border fence - around San Francisco - it is a foriegn country now.
San Francisco has always been a bit “foreign”. Agree with #15 that a fence would be good. It might protect the rest of us from whatever ails those people.
I pulled out my copy of “Escape from New York” last night, and thought, “well, if we aren’t going to build a border fence, maybe a huge wall around the so called sanctuary cities might be a cheaper alternative.
I thought we only abutted foreign lands on our northern and southern borders. San Francisco is whacked.
Perhaps a nice strong earth quake and tsunami can shake some sense into those Sodomites. I would hate to lose Alcatraz but it would be a small price to pay to de-moonbat GayBay. If that tsumani were to also hit Seattle and Portland we might pick up a few Senate seats in the next few election cycles.

I read a letter to the editor in the Chronicle decrying the awful gun violence in SF and asking how long the citizens would have to put up with it. Illegal aliens don’t kill people, guns do.

Employees in the Juvenile Probation office are willingly providing assistance of evasion to known drug dealers in California.
1. Penal Code Sections 30-33 of California define this as Aiding and Abetting a known felon. Depending upon the details, this could, also, fall under the Conspiracy Penal Codes.
2. In California, a private person may arrest another: 1. For a public offense committed or attempted in his presence. 2. When the person arrested has committed a felony, although not in his presence. 3. When a felony has been in fact committed, and he has reasonable cause for believing the person arrested to have committed it. (C.P.C. 837).
So…is anyone really serious about putting this Sanctuary City nonsense on its head…or are you all talk out there in California?

I’m hoping there’s a lawyer out there who can help the widow (and other victims of illegal alien crimes) to start suing the city into bankruptcy. Perhaps one of these days, they can be held accountable for their actions.
While SF proudly claims sanctuary status for illegal aliens, the black population has dropped by 50% over the last 10 years. I wonder if being shot by illegals with no-one to even complain to about it, is a good reason to leave home?
As tough as the local gang’s might have been, they are clearly outnumbered by the masses of the third world. And besides, the local cops would actually incarcerate the blacks while sending the illegals back out out to do ‘more of the jobs that us citizens will not do’. In this case, it just happens to be a ‘forced migration’.
Only way these sanctuary cities will stop promoting the murder of US citizens is: (a) the alien gang/felon/pervert kills or rapes a big time leftist or leftist’s child - preferably the mayor or city council member; (b) class action suits against cities by the victims and their survivors begin to, “Take a bite out of the city amnesty wallet.” Perhaps what we need is to test the recent Supreme Court 2nd amendment decision stating the right to defend our homes with guns. Well the USA is my home, so perhaps we need to form some militias to clean out MS-13 with AR-15s?
I’m still going to vote for the only person that can realistically defeat the Obammunist, but if McCain loses, he deserves it, he worked hard for it.

In a way, I feel a little sorry for San Francisco. Did you know that in 1975 a judge on the 9th Circus Court took control of the SFPD, and eliminated exams for promotion in the police force, and ordered promotions strictly on gender and ethnicity, and it wasn’t until 1994 that the order was lifted?
It is no surprise that a police force, whose current leaders were hired and promoted to supervisory positions soley on the basis of gender and ethnicity, has crime issues.
This is the price we pay for electing weasels to leadership positions.
The 9th Circus Court -Seems to me most of the evil happenings we hear about are as a result of their rulings. Is there no way to cut the ropes on their trapeze?

I see two things in the story about the MS-13 gang memeber that SF should take not of (but wont).
First, is the fact that if the gang member had not been given sanctuary in the city he would not have been there to comit the crime.

When I lived in san Francisco, gang crime was rampant in my high school and I saw the tragedy involved with this. The bleeding hearts have a great intention to provide peace love and harmony to all but fail to realize how their policies only lead to murder and mayhem.
We need to police cities for drug and immigration crimes where the local police will not. Freeze Federal education funding and see how quickly the “bleeding hearts” reverse their sanctuary policies.
Sometimes I just want to pull my hair out about this stuff. I agree that federal funding should be held from these sanctuary cities. Let the illegals contribute to the coffers. BTW, I just wonder whose social security numbers they are using-my 4 year old son’s again?

That ‘touchy-feely’ approach to crime has really turned our great cities (and prisons) into wonderful examples of love and harmony. Unless you are trying to live a decent life of course, but then you are just being judgemental. We saw that clown legislator and lawyer in Boston go on how harsh sentences for child rapist would force him to destroy the molested child. We need ONE more death penalty catagory.

I recently read that in just the first five months of this year, there were over 2,500 murders in Mexico related to drugs. This is an “epidemic” of national proportions. Why would anyone think that when those “neighbors” make it to the US somehow, they will act differently?

This is why it’s so important to pay attention to your local elections. My county is overrun with illegals and gangs and I do not plan to vote back in the person who has let this happen.

I don’t know about the others, but I am from here. I was born here of parents who were born here of grand parents ==> 1710 being the last import to the best of my knowledge. And there were from North and South. They fought each other in both the Revolution and the Civil War. I hope we get along now.

I just heard yet another replay of McCain’s recent “they are all God’s children” speech. What the bloody hell is wrong with McCain? We blew amnesty out of the water last year…does he think we like amnesty any better now? Or, does he stupidly think he can change our minds? What can we do to convince McCain that he is backing a losing strategy and will never be elected by pandering to the pro-amnesty crowd?
McCain needs to speak to the Apaches, Comanches, and Navahos who populated the area before the newly minted Aztechan/Mayan/Spanish warrior people to their south started raiding their territories and enslaving and killing their people. “Mexicans” or whatever they want to call themselves now can lay whatever claims they want on America, but I will always view them as common cross border bandits - humble, legal immigrants excepted. You’re right. Sometimes they actually make laws just for themselves - exempt from Social Secuity with their own retirement system for example - but they do have the mindset that laws are for peons.
In a city like San Fran with “anything goes” laws, it’s not surprising when incidents like this happen. What’s less surprising is that liberal policies such as San Fran’s didn’t happen overnight because they enacted the following:
1. Siding with criminals with their handgun ban
2. Booting out Junior ROTC in schools
3. Gay marriage
4. Safe harbors for illegals
You get the picture.
Now, with McCain… he thinks that pandering to illegals and their Latino protectors will buy him some gravitas, think again. He is dead wrong… him and Obummer. Does he actually believe that illegal immigration is right, that Americans should live under a one world order? Or did he come to some agreement in his own mind that, no matter how he infuriates the Conservative base, that he thinks supporting shamnesty is a winner?
This is where I part ways with McCain. He’s gotta know that Latinos don’t see much difference between the likes of him and Obummer. Unless he recognizes that, and adjust his strategy, this issue is going to be a loser for him, just like refusing to drill in ANWR.

I drove six hours to visit my dad this last weekend and noticed what has changed since I lived there:
-His town is now majority Mexican.
-His home has dropped in value almost two hundred thousand dollars.
-There are gangs that he must fear that didn’t exist when I lived there.
-The signs and freeways have tagging on them that I can’t even read.
-Gas is so expensive that I probably won’t be visiting him again soon.

Good synopsis. I have seen enough change to my state (Texas) in my lifetime already. The change has not been for the better either. When I was a kid there was no water rationing, concern for polluted ground water, congestion, high crime, fear for personal safety if you wandered into the “wrong side of town”, etc. I remember wide open spaces that were clean, peaceful, and full of wildlife. People were friendly and watched out for one another and everyone spoke English when in public. And NEVER EVER EVER would you see the mexican flag flying anywhere in the state, much less at the same level as or above the Texas and US flags. Today, thanks to the booming population, most 3rd world immigrants, the exact opposite is the norm. Sure, we all have more $ now than the average family of my childhood, but at what price? We have sold our national soul for “10 gold talons”. I want immigraiton curtailed and to be reasonable (stop with the importation of low skilled illiterates, especially those from cultures that are polar opposite of Americas ideals). Though we will never return to those days, we can at least use common sense in who we allow into our “family”.
