    Well, some parts if it are, some are far from it. Nevertheless, it has enough voters who will blindly vote for anyone with “D” following their name. I’m sure if Charles Manson had a chance to run as a Dem in this district he would likely get more votes than any Republican opponent. Hence, the Republicans don’t even bother running any candidate here.

    The last Republican that was successful in this area was Steve Horn who saw the writing on the wall when his district was jerrymandered heavily toward Democrats and decided not to run again for re-election.

    Let’s have a big round of applause for the contorted redistricting known as jerrymandering!

    Self control seems to be a quality lacking in many congresscritters. She fits right in and she’s not wasting any time in getting her perks. Must’ve learned to go for the best (why not – who’s to tell her no?) in her prior experience as a deadbeat pol in local and state office.

    Seems to me, there should be a limited choice in what vehicles members of congress have available to them if they must be provided one at all.

    This is what angers me. Surely, the voters of Carson, California have other well-qualified black candidates for this seat. I get the fact they want a Democrat.
