What parent can see this picture and not be touched? Good caption, “Trust.” This pic epitomizes what so many of us have experienced with our own children, and if you work with small children you know what I’m talking about, too.

I forwarded this picture as part of an emailed response to that Satullo editorialist at the Philly Enquirer.

He noted that since 9/11, we’ve made thousands of new enemies. This photo is graphic evidence that in that same time, we’ve made hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of new friends.

As I kept looking at the photo something kept nagging me and I remebered back, so many years ago, walking barefoot on hot surface. His feet are getting a respite from the hot desert sand. Not only is there trust here but also service to one’s fellow man. One picture = Billion words
