Thank you, San Francisco: 8 illegal alien crack dealers on the loose

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 1, 2008 09:35 AM

Un-freaking-believable. Jaxon Van Derbeken at the SFChronicle follows up on his weekend report exposing how San Francisco operated a special tax-funded shuttle service for illegal alien Honduran drug lords to protect the poor “youths” from federal immigration officials. Now, we learn that when the city was told to stop flying the illegal immigrant drug offenders home to escape prosecution and formal deportation and permanent bars from US citizenship, they instead sent the “youths” to southern California group homes–from which they easily escaped:

Until recently, San Francisco flew juvenile illegal immigrants convicted of drug crimes to their home countries rather than cooperate with the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, a practice that drew national attention when The Chronicle reported it Sunday.

When federal law enforcement authorities demanded that San Francisco halt the flights and began a criminal investigation, the city decided to house some of the dealers in long-term youth rehabilitation centers. Some of those centers are run by a nonprofitcompany called Silverlake
Youth Services in mountain towns southeast of San Bernardino.

Eight Honduran juveniles who had been convicted of dealing drugs in San Francisco were sent within the past few weeks to the company’s group homes, where one month’s placement costs $7,000 per youth - an expense borne by San Francisco taxpayers.

Within 10 days of being sent to the unlocked group homes, however, all eight youths ran away, said Bill Siffermann, head of juvenile probation in San Francisco. He said his agency has issued arrest warrants for them.

Siffermann said the city has stopped sending juvenile offenders to Silverlake because of the escapes. “We have now eliminated that as a prospect,” he said, adding that San Francisco is trying to come up with an approach for handling the juveniles that does not involve giving them to federal immigration authorities.

Wait, there’s more:

The eight were among dozens of young Honduran illegal immigrants who have been arrested in San Francisco in recent years for dealing drugs. Police said many of the Hondurans - some of whom they believe are actually adults - live communally in other local cities at the behest of drug lords, who finance their travel here and threaten to kill their families if they cooperate with law enforcement.

Officials say at least 22 illegal immigrants are being held at the city’s juvenile hall.
San Francisco sent four illegal immigrant juvenile offenders from El Salvador and elsewhere to the Silverlake home in Yucaipa last year. All four escaped within three weeks, San Bernardino County authorities said.

And where is San Fran Nan Pelosi on all of this? Exactly where the Dems have been on illegal alien sanctuary policies the past 30 years: turning blind eyes and deaf ears to the willful undermining of our safety and sovereignty.

Yesterday, I reminded you of the story of Erlan Colindres. I suggest every member of Congress, starting with Nancy Pelosi, get up to speed before it happens again.

Seriously, that does’nt suprise me, a friend of mine son took off to Oklahoma, the police caught them and held them in a group home when we arrived to pick him up everyone of them (there were four buddies with him) escaped and took off, split up and ran like hell, we went looking for them and found his son running thru a field, we promptly shoved in 4 wheel and chased the little tyrant and caught him, I had to pull his dad off him so he did’nt kill the little delinquent, once we got in the car and took him back to get released we asked how they could have escaped, the officer said “Well, this is’nt a secure facility. Hmmm… knowingly abeting an Illigal to break the Federal law IS a Felony. Add in conspiricy to commit a felony, which the San Francisco government is doing, and you essentialy have a conspricy against the Federal government.

This act is not like the sanctuary city thing. If you don’t ask, then you have plausible deniability to not call ICE, but they apparently KNEW these were illegals and harbored them. This is now an act of commision, not ommision. This is the blantant ACT of defieing Federal Law…

Bring everyone up who is involved on FEDERAL conspriicy charges… its time.

    1. Openly breaking the law by ignoring immigration laws and setting up sanctuary and even going so far as to use taxpayer dollars to shuttle illegal alien drug lords out of the country rather than turn them over to ICE.

    2. An Unconstitutional and illegal gun ban for the poor and not-well-connected (Guns for me and my bodyguards and wealthy donors and celebrities but not for thee).

And that list could go on and on of all the straight up “laws” San Fran willingly breaks to push its slimeball agenda.

Off topic, but related to the idiocy of bleeding heart liberalism, read an op-ed this morning in the WSJ by Melanie Phillips, author of Londonistan. The UK government has released Abu Qatada, and is considering the same for an anonymous cohort, because of lack of evidence to try them, meanwhile the UK courts have ruled that deporting these dangerous terrorists would be a ‘breach of their human rights’, as they may be, gasp, tortured in their home country for more serious crimes committed there. Add to that, Abu Qatada is confined to house arrest in London, his wife and 5 children are enjoying the benefits of the British welfare system, along with disability payments for Abu’s bad back.

It is coming. There will be another Civil War and it will be over citizens frustration with their governments. Another reason why the Heller decision was so important.

If Obama gets in, they will erode freedoms as fast as they can replace SC justices with more liberal nutjobs like Ginsburg who want to decided cases using international laws. If there is a Dem President and Congress, they will take the opportunity to implement so many backwards, leftist policies, and capitalize on their agenda - which the Republicans failed to do for 6 years to protect against just such a time.

I’m personally tired of being offended by the outrages perpetrated by the left.

We are one nation in name only. At this point I can’t conceive of even calling them my brothers and sisters. The mindset that would hide dangerous criminals and shield child molesters from authorities is surely a movement acting out in open rebellion. It’s as if they simply despise this country as it currently exists and will push these insane positions until they get what they really want - a ruined nation that is prostrate before an all powerful central government.

From blocking energy development to activist judges overturning our founding principles to the promotion of Marxist policies using environmentalism as a shield: the left seems hell-bent on destruction and have found enough useful idiots along the way to make it work.

At one time they were referred to as the “Masters of Deceit” but now I would call them the Masters of the Willing Accomplices.

If we get the leaders we deserve then this election says a lot about what we have sown the last few years.

Am I alone in thinking that a total collapse is the only way for this nation to find it’s collective common sense?

I agree that we should get involved, but I’ve given up on doing it through the GOP.

The problem is that Mr. Smith starts out like you and me - out to set things right. As he moves up the chain, presumably in the Republican party, he finds that he’s got to compromise some of his integrity - on “little” things that don’t really matter, of course, in order to do the “greater good”. After a few years of holding office, campaigning, playing the game of mutual political favors, and gathering more closet skeletons, he becomes less and less recognizeable to his original supporters. By the time that Mr. Smith finally does get to Washington, he has become corrupted. That once good man has been transformed by the GOP into a forked-tongue, go-along-to-get-along, spineless self-serving traitor (a.k.a. “an inside the beltway politician”).

I’m convinced that a constitution-centric party is the only way out of this mess. After all, we are a republic (rule of law), not a democracy (rule of demagogic whim) …but, alas, I’m afraid it’s too late anyway. As Ben Franklin said, “When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic”. The only true hope we have now is God rescuing us somehow.

However, I do not think G-d will help us anymore. This country allows Homosexual marriage, murder of children(abortion), Fathers leaving their families and/or children to fend for themselves, drug abuse beyond anything ever dreamed of 30 years ago, school prayer thrown out of school, false religions, murder, rape…

We should change our name to Sodom, and wait for our destruction. Not just us, but the whole world.

    We have earned it!

I have become so frustrated with the way this country is going. NO ONE is representing my views. I have actually looked at some web sites that I never would have even seen before. Today, I found myself on a “David Duke” site and quickly closed it. But the fact that I actually typed something into a search engine that goes so far against what I have always believed, just shows me how confusing this country is right now.

Per Bill Siffermann, head of juvenile probation in San Francisco “San Francisco is trying to come up with an approach for handling the juveniles that does not involve giving them to federal immigration authorities.”

I am not sure why this is not grounds for 1) removal from his position in the city government and 2) a reason to try this fellow for acting in a manner detrimental to the federal government, in other words Treason.

While a common citizen may make the ‘off the cuff remark’, it takes on a different meaning when spoken by a city official in an official capacity.

Of course, with someone as incompetant in their understanding of the effects of illegal immigration being the current commander in chief, I have no doubt the Attorney General of the United States will yet again shirk his responsibility in this matter.

Clearly, any new amnesty will result in even greater uncontrolled mass migration which can only result in major violent problems in many places. I wonder, once the various police forces are overwhelmed, what these politicians will do?
