A Jeremiah Wright impersonator at the Philly Inquirer

Shorter Chris Satullo: God damn America!

I have a feeling we’ll see a few more of these leading up to the Independence Day holiday weekend.

    Chris Satullo can be ashamed all he wants. He can go to Hell too. But what can you expect from the Philadelphia Inquirer?

    For me I will be having hot dogs, watermelon and beer while flying both the Stars and Stripes AND the Gadsen.I might even shoot an Englishmen if I can get the damn fool to stay still.

    Hey lgm, this is MY country, you can have Iran or Cuba.

    I just e-mailed this jerk. I told him that when I read David McCullough’s 1776 he stated numerous times that General George Washington threatened his soldiers with a swift death by bullet if they ran from the fight. I asked him if he looked back on those military tactics with the same admiration as he did with the writing of the Declaration of Independence and everything else he was reminiscing over.
    I also told him I bet there was a way he could blame how Washington threatened his troops on George W. Bush. I let him know that I would be celebrating and was happy to know he would not be celebrating with me. One less fool at the fireworks show!

    The news industry doesn’t know how to cope with the internet. If you are going to publish left wing blather, you had better label it as left wing blather - and then have someone with a brain comment on it.

    Most of the newspapers are so left wing that they can’t understand why their circulation and ad revenues are falling. Here is at least a partial clue: Circulation is an indication of how the readership views the quality of news presented. Ad revenues follow circulation but they also follow the economic health of the nation. When the news media damages the economic health of the nation through mindlessness and negativity, then the nation becomes less healthy in many areas. (The vicious cycle of bad news and the poor national health it promotes pretty much takes down the news media faster than the nation in general.)

    From LGM’s post, I can tell where the bitterness comes from.

    L = lithium
    G = Geodon (antipsychotic)
    M = methylphenidate (Ritalin)

    Must have a serious dissociative disorder if LGM can see raised hands through the internet.

    Up the doses, LGM.

    I want my country back. I want to live in a country that doesn’t imitate the worst of mankind.

    A good start would be for you to stop imitating the worst of mankind.

    We have failed to pay attention. We’ve settled for lame excuses. We’ve spit on the memory of those who did that brave, brave thing in Philadelphia 232 years ago.

    Now that part I will agree with. With the government we have today, and with our morals and values eroding, I can’t say anything different. I don’t think, though, that was his idea, when he wrote it. I think the “we” there, should refer to the liberals.

    As for me, I intend to celebrate and enjoy the fireworks and parades this year. But hey, if he wants to sit around and mope all day, let him. It’s a free country, though I know he doesn’t think so.

    It has been said, not often enough, that liberal Democrat policies have destroyed the black family. It is true. Bastardy is the norm in this subset of American culture. These same democrat policies have imparted to black Americans a sense of victimhood, envy, resentment, entitlement, and hate that makes them cripples in anything like a free society. Understand this: Most, something on the order of 95% perhaps, blacks feel much like Jeremiah Wright. This hatred may be buried deep in the bones and souls of black folk, but it is there. It will be there as long as the Democrat party incites them to be that way. This Democrat party of today is a traitorous, treasonous, clear and present danger to the nation and to freedom itself.

    You got that right. I grew up in a Democrat-voting family and was a Democrat throughout my younger years, but as I grew older I became more and more aware of how traitorous the Democrat Party is to America. If they existed back in the 18th century, they would have been drawn and quartered for their treachery.

    ….Just because we are nation of freedom doesn’t mean we can’t defend ourselves. And it doesn’t give the rest of the world the right to use our freedoms to destroy us.

    What this putz and his leftist cohorts is suggesting is national suicide.

    Indeed. As Rush would say, those of his ilk confuse our Constitution as being some sort of suicide pact.

    Our National Seal was adopted in 1782. Satullo, like any other liberal miscreant, fails to recognize that those 13 arrows held in the left claw are weapons ready to KILL any enemy that decides to fight us. Liberals desperately think those arrows should be replaced by little white flags and that our liberty is negotiable. They actually believe that our enemies somehow have a ‘right’ to want to kill us and destroy our way of life plus that each should get their day in court to explain why they feeeel that way.
