What’s ACORN up to? Voter fraud as usual
What are Obama’s “old friends” at ACORN up to these days? They’re signing up countless new voters who will dutifully cast dubious ballots for their far Left savior and soulmate. The Las Vegas Review Journal reports today on ACORN’s flurry of suspicious activities. Remember, people. This is your tax dollars at work:
Analysts have attributed much of the surge to interest in the election and enthusiasm for Democratic candidate Barack Obama among young people and blacks, traditionally two groups that register and vote at lower rates than the population as a whole.
But as a day spent with canvassers showed, the new voters aren’t lining up at the county building to register themselves. Rather, they’re being aggressively recruited.
“We approach them. We bring the issue to them,” said Chris Edwards, ACORN’s Nevada field director. “We don’t wait for them to come to us.”
ACORN, which stands for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, claims to have collected 60,000 new voter registrations in Clark County since February. The group, which works to promote the interests of lower-income people, is aiming for 100,000 by Labor Day.
Clark County Registrar of Voters Larry Lomax said he has never seen such a deluge. “The biggest year we ever had was 2004. That year, we processed almost 300,000 (voter) applications — 291,000, to be exact. We’re running double that rate right now.”
…Lomax said while he supports the goal of getting more people registered to vote, he sees rampant fraud in the 2,000 to 3,000 registrations ACORN turns in every week.
“Whenever people get paid to register voters, those individuals have an incentive to meet their quota, and that results sometimes in people doing things they shouldn’t,” Lomax said.
His office sends out thousands of letters based on registration applications that don’t have valid addresses or Social Security numbers, or have other suspicious irregularities.
The office also receives frequent complaints from people who have been notified of changes in their registration that they say they didn’t make.
“There’s no question it’s a crime. It says right there on the form it’s a felony to put down false voter registration information,” said Lomax, who is working with authorities to see what can be done.
How about de-funding ACORN? I ask again: Hello, GOP? Anyone home?

I can’t keep up with all of their corruption, and I find Obamessiah’s appeal almost akin to the description of the antichrist in biblical scripture.

Couple this with the strategy of contesting as many overseas ballots sent in from US troops abroad, and you have the modern day democrat party.
No comment from John Kerry, Wesley Clark or Jim Webb.
Fuming: I am really sick and tired of honest people getting bull-rushed by these kinds of crooks, with no consequences to them. I guess a free democratic society means leftists get what they want, all the rest of us can pound sand. In the meantime, the mass media are perfectly happy to be willing collaborators.

Because ACORN is an arm of the Democratic voter fraud machine, it is allowed to go on. If ACORN was working for Republicans, it would have been stopped a long time ago.
ACORN is my personal choice for my avowed enemy status… they are ruthless in their fraud and will inundate all polling places with illegal voters. Their shame is endless and they will accuse you of anything to detract from the goal of shining light on their fraud. Everyone must confront them with prejudice and full judgment!!

ACORN Worker Pleads Guilty to Vote Fraud in Kansas City, Mo.
Don’t expect government at any level to stop ACORN. San Antonio just signed a contract with them a couple of months ago for “mortgage counseling services”.

In a country where we are divided almost in half (according to voting polls) I am guessing their new voter status is somewhere in the 99% Democrat and 1% Republican. That should be a big flippin red flag.
I sure would like to see the numbers by party affiliation. Is someone working on this?
Our options in controlling the tyranny of our Government get smaller and smaller everyday. We are losing our rights granted by the Bill of Rights piecemeal thanks to an out of control Federal legal system legislating from the bench along with legislators at all levels of Government that ignore the wishes of those that voted for them. Now we have the folks at ACORN stuffing the ballot box thanks to their hard work of proven fraudulent voter registration subsidized by our stolen income.
I fear it is time to start stocking up on arms (still thanking God for the SCOTUS decision of an individual right on the 2nd Amendment), ammo, and food stuffs I have a bad feeling we are going to have to retake this country from those that want to destroy it in the very near future.
If these ‘new’ voters send in early voting ballots, is there anyway to prove they are legal or still alive? Does anyone check these ballots to be valid?

I’m sure in the depths of my heart that President McCain will work tirelessly with Congress to defund ACORN and bring lasting integrity to the voting processes of this great nation so never again will voters have to worry about the sanctity of their ballots, which is why this November I’m voting for John McCain . . . zzzzzzzz

I wonder how many of these new voters are illegal aliens or non-citizens.
I know for a fact here in Fairfax County, Virginia, Democrats register illegal aliens and that mosques encourage Muslims who are not citizens to vote.
You can register to vote with a driver’s license. You don’t need to be a citizen to have a Virginia driver’s license.
I’m with ya. I kind of noticed that appeal around Obama too.

That’s kind of funny because the Catholic teachers and grad students I know are starting to speculate on this as well. You have this dopey guy with a magnetic pull on weak-minded fools. And they swoon in his presence. Plus, every Muslim loves the guy, and he is culturally Muslim as well. Ready for some “change?”

ACORN’s fraud will not stop until ONE state simply says they will no longer process any voter material submitted by ACORN. Their record of voter fraud and deception is well documented. Any state would have a good case to refuse to process their illegal and felonious voter “registrations”. Personally, I think ALL voter registrations should be required to be done in person at the county clerk’s office, along with photo ID and proof of citizenship. But I’m dreaming, of course.
Bogus outfits like ACORN are part of the donkeys’ “One-Two Punch” that can, and has, thrown state and Federal elections.
1. Bloat the rolls with all kinds of new “Hyphenated-Americans,” all of whom reliably vote donkey: Dead-Americans, Undocumented-Americans, Cartoon Character-Americans, Imaginary-Americans, Felon-Americans, Feline-Americans, Canine-Americans, Avian-Americans, etc.
2. If #1 doesnt’ produce victory, then take “Uncle Joe” Stalin’s advice: “It’s not who votes that matters, but who counts the votes.”
These measures — as well as donkey-controlled state supreme courts willing to “interpret” election laws out of existence — are how Tim Johnson and Frank Lautenberg got their senate seats in 2002.
It’s how Christine Gregoire stole the Washington governorship and how John Kerry “won” the state of Wisconsin in 2004.
And it’s how Algore *almost* stole the presidency in 2000 (remember the donkey poll worker in Florida who got busted with a ballot machine and hundreds of blank ballots in his car?).
These are the people who will “save” us from fascism. I feel safer already. Don’t you?

Shoot, I almost forgot the grand-daddy of them all: Donkey Daley’s “Let’s have fun with voter registrations” in Chicago is how JFK became president. How negligent of me.
Anyone remember Mike Royko? He was a newspaper columnist in Chicago many years ago, who once wrote of his observations of donkey-controlled Chicago election precints having to do things like send entire batches of ballots back because they were coming in 100% donkey. They’d have their little minions gin up a few “Republican” votes just to make it look good, then turn the ballots in.
If we ever lose this Republic to a one-party totalitarian dictatorship, I’ll give anyone who cares one guess as to which party that “one party” will be.

I have talked with numerous people who believe BIG O is the anti-Christ.
Mass appeal, deceptive, came out of nowhere, represents all countries (so they think), and wants change.
He will appear as a Messiah…..odd it’s happening.
Don’t be fooled. GOD is watching as it unfolds. If he IS the antiChrist, those that support him are in SERIOUS trouble.
I’ve been dubious of these voter registration drives. It’s more like canvassing, and people will cheat by utilizing unverified voter names. I think I encountered such an instance myself during the 2004 election.
It’s a semi-long story, so I won’t go on about it. Let’s just say that I won’t be answering when a young hippie rings my doorbell on Election Day anymore.
Don’t tell me it’s too hard to register to vote in your district on your own, that you have to go through these organizations to do it for you. Have we always been able to register in this fashion?
In my sane world, based on the history of ACORN, any voter reg. cards submitted my the would be rejected. They would be scrutinized and search warrants would be issued on every ACORN “office” and home of persons suspected in submitted false ballots.
Democrats always whine how we must have a paper trail and faith in the voting system. This only works one way, as long as it will benefit the Donks they will look the other way.
They just called me yesterday in regard to “helping those who have lost their homes to foreclosure”, “.. asking for donations from local businesses ..” yada. I had an ear full to say to the caller that the terms ‘predatory’ and ‘low interest’ contradict each other as well as the fact that The American Dream Downpayment Act launched by Bush in 2002 resulted in more low income people, especially minorities, being able to afford a first home than ever before. It was and continues to be a success overall but liberals can only whine about bailing out a few hard luck cases and losers who didn’t play by rules. I specifically asked why they did nothing to help ’save’ people back in the late 80’s when many were being foreclosured after the Mass condo glut crash. (Oh how I wanted to mention my surmise that skin color had something to do with their inaction back then …)
I do wish I had come here first to have learned even more ammunitition to smack her with before she finally hung up on me.
