Can anybody tell me what “church” has ordained the “Reverends” Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Jeremiah Wright? None of them shows any Christian virtue or reverence. Why does any church allow people like these to give Christianity a bad name? Seems to me that they should be spending some time on a spiritual retreat trying to remember what their titles mean.

From the LA Times:

O’Reilly told viewers that the network had decided to air only portions of what Jackson had said, saying there was “more damaging” material. Shine declined to comment on what else Jackson said, adding that news executives were in discussions about whether to air more of the tape.

On O’Reilly last night I saw an individual apologizing for Jackson, actually stating that he “misspoke”.

Did he also “mis hand gesture” when he made his point very clear with a physical gesture as to exactly what he meant?

Jackson has not been in the forefront lately, or the center of any attention, which I think REALLY bothers him. I think that this is just one more nail in the coffin of credibility for the guy. Although, I will say that it does seem like the nails outmass the wood in his case, given all the incidents over the years. The black community may still embrace him as a leader, but any person with any sense at all knows what he is. A race baiting, self-promoting, poverty pimp who is no more a Christian than my dog.
