To coin a cliche: your tax dollars at work.

I'm glad our representatives are devoting their resources to this matter. Let's spend more time putzing around instead of handling real problems.

Did I say glad? I meant disgusted.

Of course Pelosi isn't going to hinder the process. With Bush and Cheney out, she could be the first woman President, even if only for a short time.

Preposterous!

Just like this dog and pony show.

Hey Nancy, how did your name come up in regards to the FARC terrorists in Colombia? Interpol and the American people have some questions for you. You can call Madam Speaker at 202 250-0100 and then ask the nice young man who answers her phone. At least it was a guy most of today, and after today he may quit, but give her a call. After all she is YOUR Speaker also.

Once again, our tax money hard at work. Suppose they do eventually pass an article of impeachment. How do you impeach a former President? By the time, it ever finishes, he’ll be out of office.

That's OK. They'll just retroactively impeach him, and re-write the history books so that Algore won in 2000, with his stellar leadership as President leading to his Academy Award and Nobel prize.

(Wow! I almost made myself gag on that entry.)

The article of Impeachment will deal directly with President Bush fraudulently obtaining support for an attack on Iraq by creating a false case for war.

Written by: Jack Kelly
Thursday, 10 July 2008

...Few American newspaper readers learned that on Saturday the last of 550 metric tons of yellowcake was shipped from Iraq to a firm in Canada. Yellowcake is milled uranium oxide, the raw material from which nuclear bombs are made.

According to Norman Dombey, professor of theoretical physics at the University of Sussex in England, the yellowcake shipped from Iraq was enough to make 142 nuclear bombs. Apparently, Saddam Hussein's nuclear weapons program was rather more than a figment of Dick Cheney's fevered imagination....

Jack Kelly is a former Marine and Green Beret and a former deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force in the Reagan administration. He is national security writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

fraudulently obtaining support for an attack on Iraq by creating a false case for war
???

Was it not the Clinton admin and his Dems who were screaming about Iraq having WMD's?

This is rich! We, as citizens, cannot hold politicians to promises made during political campaigns. This means they can, and do, lie their funny little tails off, with impunity.

Now, these idiotic hypocrites want President Bush embarrassed by impeachment? They truly have no souls, nor consciences. In the end, none of this will matter. They will destroy what's left of our forefathers legacy, and bring the country to ruin...with their glee in their black hearts.

I have a question for any Constitutional lawyer out there...if the House desires to impeach both the POTUS, and VPOTUS, does the Speaker of the House have to recuse him/herself from any such proceedings (note: in the case of both positions being impeached at the same time), since that position is next in line to ascend? Just curious.

On July 10th, 2008 at 2:06 pm, Tipper said:

How about they hold hearings about Nancy’s treasonous contact with FARC?

I think that's precisely why Pelosi is letting Kucinich run with his little charade -- he serves as a distraction.

This is a preview, however, of what will be in store for this country if the donkeys able to realize their long-term objective of trading in our Republic for a one-party dictatorship:

First, create conditions to make elections meaningless (e.g., ACORN-style voter registration fraud, using state courts in places like Florida, New Jersey and Washington to "interpret" election laws into oblivion and help donkeys steal elections, and Algore and Christine Gregoire inspired "keep counting until we win" efforts to overturn legitimate election results).

Second, criminalize their political opposition. Beginning with George Bush, I predict, this will extend into efforts to prosecute Republicans for "political crimes" even after they've left office.

Marx, Lenin, Stalin and Mao must all be laughing in Hell right now while Huey Long delivers the punchline to the joke:

"... And just like when fascism comes to America it'll call itself 'anti-fascism,' the death of the American republic will be brought about by a collection of proto-totalitarians referring to themselves as 'Democrats!'"
