On July 11th, 2008 at 5:11 pm, SPCOlympics said: So if the DNC has barred many of America’s favorite fried dishes like fried chicken, doesn’t that mean they are bigots of some sort?

I would love to hear what the Black Congressional Caucus has to say about that myself.

I thought in the Liberal universe not liking certain ethnic foods was tantamount to racism.

I am sooooooo looking forward to watching the DNC convention sitting on my leather couch, eating bratwurst and fries. I may take a break between blatherings and go out and mow my lawn with my inefficient internal combustion engine mower, then use a gas trimmer to edge. Somewhere in there, I'll work in a trip to grocery store two blocks away in my huge SUV to pick up some farmed chicken and bald eagle eggs with processed cheese for a delicious night-time omelet.

Provecho!

is there anybody left in Tie Siding?
No, they all moved to Vinyl…

LOL. That's hilarious, AlohaGuy.
Actually, it's a different kind of "siding":

Apologies to all you Easterners for drifting off-topic, but I have a suggestion (especially you Democrats going to Denver): Drive up to Tie Siding, Wyoming and sit outside the post office. Reality and your sanity will return in a few minutes. You might even become a conservative.

Only someone from Wyoming would call Cheyenne a “big city.”

Laugh. Yea, Laramie is a big city also. It even has a suburb, Tie Siding, population...um...is there anybody left in Tie Siding?

<strike>You’re right Southpaw, best steaks for miles around. Too bad it’s so far from Gillette. I try not to get that close to a big city unless absolutely necessary</strike>

Only someone from Wyoming would call Cheyenne a "big city."

I say that affectionately, btw. I spent every summer between 5 and 17 with my father in Lusk or Guernsey.

I try not to get that close to a big city unless absolutely necessary (unless, as I do ,you count Rapid City, SD as a "big city"). And only when it's necessary, such as when I need something from Lowes or Menards, or I feel the need for Red Lobster.
