    Get a clue.

    Build the fence

Go after the Democrats who are corrupt

    Build the fence

Find a conservative we can vote for next time

Take agvantage of Congress’ low numbers

    Build the stinking fence already.

Go after the money we spent on Mexico’s fence and get it back to build our fence.

    Feel free to add…

    Here’s my top ten:

    1. A strong dollar – The value of the dollar has fallen over much of the past decade and we’re paying for it in the form of higher prices for oil and gas among other things. Strengthening the dollar will help will bring down the price of gas and other commodities.
    2. Tax cuts – Specifically make George W. Bush’s marginal rate reductions permanent, reduce the capital gains tax rate, eliminate the “death tax” and cut the corporate tax rate from the current 35 percent to 25 percent.
    3. Fiscal responsibility – We are not under-taxed, the government spends too much. Want my vote? End earmarks and balance the budget!
    4. A strong national defense. – Fight for the NSA surveillance program, protect telecom companies from frivolous lawsuits, preserve the PATRIOT act, keep the Guantanamo Bay detention center open, fight to win the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Make sure that our veterans can live out their lives in dignity.
    5. Secure borders – This is a very simple thing… Any nation that fails to defend its borders will eventually cease to be a sovereign nation. Build the fence, and enforce the laws already on the books!
    6. Increased domestic energy production – End or at least ease the restrictions on domestic oil and natural gas drilling.
    7. Free Market health care solutions – Just say no to government controlled nationalized health care. We have to best health care system in the world… Yes there are problems, yes the costs spiraling upwards but nationalized health care isn’t the answer. Free market ideas like health savings accounts, tax breaks for small business owners, and tort reform are better ideas.
    8. Tax breaks for families who choose to send their children to private or parochial schools. – Vouchers are a nonstarter with me but allowing parents to deduct private or parochial school tuition from their taxes makes sense.
    9. Social Security and Medicare reform.
    10. The appointment of judges who recognize that their job is to interpret the Constitution, NOT legislate from the bench.

HEH. Last time I filled out a questionnaire from my Republicans and their concern for my issues, I hit submit and was immediately taken to a donation page. Pardon me if I am a bit gun shy about this whole deal. They want to call themselves a “grass root” movement but forget who the conservatives are and what we stand for – hence, tell us again (and again, and again, and again, and again…). They pay ZERO attention to the past failures of trying to elect a moderate conservative for POTUS (all lost their election bids BTW). Now our republican candidate wants to reach across the aisle to Democrats and the RNC wants to know what WE think? PHALEEEEEZZZZZZ

Do you approve of quotas in higher education or employment? What should the Republican Party’s position be on abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and other culture of life issues? What is your position on same-sex marriage, and should the Constitution be amended to protect the traditional institution? How are civil liberties best protected? Well, you’re a fool, then, because you are throwing your vote away. The choice is either Obama or McCain in the White House. I’m not happy with McCain, but I certainly don’t want Obama. Since you believe that putting Obama in the White House is the way to go, you’re actually the one who is voting Liberal Democrat.

I don’t want to grow up, Atheling. I cannot vote for Mcinsane and allow him to destroy our sovereignty. It’s that simple. There are three things that could make me vote for McInsane and he’s not willing to change:

    1, NO AMNESTY.

2, Enforce the laws already on the books.

3, Pledge to cut taxes and spending.

IN THAT ORDER. Hell, if he even did the first one, I might just vote for the old grump. Other than that, I’m tired of opening the local paper and seeing another person dead at the hands of an illegal alien gang banger. I don’t know where you live, but it’s very common here in So. California. I’m tired paying higher fees to offset all the money the illegals and their anchor babies. It’s a hidden tax that McInsane is supporting.

Until McInsane wises up, I’m writing in Newt.

According to news reports, McCain’s donations are way down. This RNC ploy is merely another attempt to gather potentially new sources of $$$. During the prelims, Sr. McCain mouthed that he had learned his lesson and knew we wanted the “borders secured.” As soon as he had the nomination in hand, he dropped that pretense and slithered back to his true goal of legalizing every illegal already in the country. Earlier this week, he was sucking up to La Raza, which has that exact goal among many others. Sr. McCain is a politician. Politicians lie when they feel it necessary. McCain lies when he feels it expedient to do so.

The ad-hominem attackers above(you know who you are) are minor leaguers compared with what Sr. McCain, Sr. Bush and a few others threw at those of us who balked at accepting their amnesty proposals. As a previous poster noted, Sr. McCain will have no one but himself to blame if he loses. American voters owe their allegiance to principles, not to a political party.

That idea was first floated by a PR firm ( Hill & Knowlton) that the DNC hired to figure out ways to keep what they consider redneck rubes on their tractors on election day. In other words, it is a scam to split the republicans and elect a democrat. You do not gain influence by losing elections.
